"Hey." Mila said quickly, as I walked in the door.

"Hey, Cam said that they're all about to leave and if you were ready?" I said, taking a step forward….she looked really upset. She swallowed, shaking her head,

"I think I'm going to skip out on this one… I have work to do anyways. You can tell them to go ahead." I blinked my eyes at her,

"You love Disneyland. Do I have to remind you all the times you dragged your family and had to buy minnie mouse ears each time?" I teased and her face broke into a small smile.

"It's okay. Braden was supposed to come but he's got a bunch of things to do, so it's fine. I'll catch up on my blog." I shook my head,

"Come on, get up. I was going to stay back and do some work but we can both take a break from that. We can both use it."

"You don't have to do that Ames." she shrugged.

"But I want to. Now get up and let's go. We'll have fun, I promise." She bit down on her lip, looking as if she was considering it before nodding.

"Okay." She agreed, grabbing her bag and walking out with me.

“God finally. Where’s Braden?” Cami asked, looking back at me and I shrugged.

“He didn’t want to come.” Mila’s eyes looked at the ground and I could tell she was bummed. What she was doing with a loser like him I’d never know, but then again who was I to judge someone on who they fell for?

“Of course not…” she trailed off, her distaste for him wasn’t hidden very well. Or at all really. And honestly if Camille didn’t like him? He wasn’t a great guy. She was a pretty god judge of character herself.

“No biggie! I'm replacing him.” I winked at Cami as she shook her head. “Disneyland wooooo!” Mila smirked at me and Gabe, my  nephew’s 5 year old widened his eyes as he looked up at me.

“You’re coming?!?” I grinned at him and nodded.

“I decided I couldn’t miss it! There are rollercoasters to be ridden my friend.” His eyes lit up and he grinned as I grabbed his tiny body and zoomed him around as we walked to our cars.

“Careful!!!” Cami yelled from behind us and I looked back at her.

“Don’t be a party pooper.” I winked causing Ames to giggle.

“Yeah maman no party poopers allowed!!!” Cami narrowed her eyes at me and I had the decency to give her a guilty face.

“Oops.” I smirked and Mila shook her head, looking like her bad mood was in the past thank god. Milena was the kind of girl who could make the room feel what she did. Not that she was a bit.ch about it, just that she oozed her emotions. I was glad she looked happy.

“You are a bad influence.” She teased.

“That I am.” I grinned, not all that worried since Cami and Ben were great parents despite being so young.

“And a little cocky about it.” Mila added, smirking as she shook her head.

“Cocky cocky cocky cocky!” Gabe started singing the word like a chant.

“Thank you for that….” Cami trailed off as I set Gabe down and he went off chanting. I smirked at Mila.

“Now who’s the bad influence” I grinned.

“Why is my son yelling cocky like a theme song?” Ben asked coming up to us and grinning. Cami used her thumb to motion over to Mila and I who were trying to contain our own laughter.

“Guilty.” I grinned.

“Hey man I thought you were staying home!” Ben said, forgetting everything and leaning over to hug me. For being a nephew we were more like brothers.

"Changed my mind." I shrugged, "So are we ready to head out or what?" Cami nodded and picked up Gabe,

"Yeah, you ready little one?" She asked him as he nodded.

"I've been ready Maman! Duh!" He told her like it was the most obvious thing in the world then he turned to Mila quickly, "Who's hand are you going to hold on the rides now Aunt Mila?" He pouted and we both grinned,

"I'm not sure."

"Me, little man." I smirked as Gabe quickly turned his frown into a smile.

"Oh good." He breathed out a sigh of relief, "Now let's go!" He said with a big grin. We filtered into our respective cars; Ben, Cami and Gabe in one car, and Mila in mine.

"Thanks for coming with me…" she trailed off, looking back at me.

"You didn't drag me. It's fine, squirt." I smirked and she lightly punched my shoulder.

"I'm five years younger than you Ames… Squirt was only okay when I was younger than 10." I smirked but also kind of winced. It had been easy to see her as I little sister when I was growing up, when you’re 18? Five years is a big difference. But when I came back from school I noticed Mila was no longer a little girl. She had grown the hell up and it did her damn good. She was gorgeous. And now that we were adults? Hell I dated girls younger than her all the time. Fuck that made me sound like an asshole. Which is why she would always be squirt, and never anything more than a little sister. It would be totally wrong of me to think of her as anything else. Even if she did grow up to look like a goddess.

“Old habits die hard.” I smirked, zooming off and Mila rolled her eyes.

“Show off.” She smirked and I turned to her.

“You don’t like this car?” she shrugged.

“It’s a little mid-life crisisy.” She responded, though I had seen her sink into the leather seats when she got in.

“Who the hell is mid life?” I asked, winking at her.

“You’re the oldie.” She replied, biting down on her lip as we pulled into the parking lot.

“And that’s why you’ll always be squirt.” I replied. I saw a flash of disappointment go through her eyes and I sighed. “Hey.” I reached over and squeezed her hand, making her look up at me. “I'm sorry you didn’t get to come with your boyfriend….this would probably be more fun with him.” She shrugged.

“Not really, he hates Disneyland.” I made a face that clearly showed off my feelings about it.

“Who the fu.ck hates Disneyland?!” I asked seriously. “No offense but that kind of tells me his heart is missing.” Mila hit me.

“It is not!!! He just thinks it’s for kids.” I shook my head.

“For a guy who owns a nightclub he sure is a party pooper.” I grinned and Mila shook her head again.

“Such mature language for a guy in his midlife crisis.” She replied, stepping out of the car. I followed her, my eyes taking in her long legs without being able to help it. She really wasn’t a kid anymore….then again, she hadn’t been for a while. I just was not going to focus on how her body was literally flawless.

“Why are you dating him anyways?” I asked, more curious than anything else. “I mean I can see why most girls with, money, power, an in. But you have that already. What’s in it for you?” I was hoping she wouldn’t say anything sexual. I don’t think I could handle thinking about her like that…..plus the thought of the guy touching her made me a little sick to my stomach for some reason. Probably because I didn’t like him.

"Is it shocking that I actually like him?" she asked with a smile.

"No, but there are tons of guys out there who have the same qualities but aren't jerks and that do like Disneyland." I grinned.

"He's sweet and really nice to me.. when he wants to be. He runs a nightclub and I understand it's stressful!" she shrugged, "There are parts I see of him that no one else does, and those are the parts I love…he's afraid to show it to everybody else and I can't blame him." I just looked at her and quietly nodded,

"I understand." I said finally. I knew how it was to love someone that everyone else hated. Even my sister couldn’t stand my fiancé. Well…she wasn’t my fiancé anymore. But you can’t help who you fall in love with. No matter what their flaws were. And sometimes those flaws were easy to see as an outsider, but not so much as an insider.

"Plus he is incredibly hot with a great body." Mila chuckled, lightening the mood and I laughed but I also gripped my hands together.

"Glad to know." I smirked, throwing an arm over her shoulder, "Let's go have fun. Where to first?"

"The tower of terror!" Mila exclaimed, not being able to contain her excitement. She might be even cuter than Gabe who looked at us with a scared face,

"Terror? Is it scary?!" He asked, holding on to Cami's waist.

"It is a little bit, but I will hold your hand. I promise… and Ames will hold your hand too." Mila told him looking down. "But if you don't want to go, it's okay." He shook his head quickly,

"NO! I wanna go. Momma, can I go with them?" He turned towards Cami.

"If you're not scared, you can, but please be careful." Cami said with a worried face that was directed towards us.

"I'll watch him like a hawk." Mila told her sister with a smile, "I promise." She sighed,

"Fine, we're going to a few pretzels." She said as Gabe tugged on her hand.

"Let's go!" He exclaimed.

"Hold your horses little man." She said back as she tried to keep up with him. We stood in line as Mila gave me her phone.

"Take a picture of the two of us." she asked me as she picked up Gabe and they gave me a big smile. I snapped the photo and grinned,

"Great."

“Woooooo!” Gabe squealed when we came out of the rides. For such a small boy he sure did have a shit ton of energy. How tiny little Cami could deal with him all day? I’d never know.

“Remind me never to have kids.” I joked as he squealed things to his parents so excited I was a little afraid he might pass out.

“You don’t want kids?” Mila asked, turning towards me and giving me a sweet smile that made my whole body warm. She had that kind of effect on people.

“Eh. I guess it wouldn’t be the worst thing. But first you have to meet a girl.” I winked and Mila gave me a shocked face.

“Oh is that how that works?!” she asked, a smartass grin all over her pretty face.

“I think so.” I teased back. Cami nodded to us that they were going to go to some more rides and Mila mentioned she wanted to head to the gift shops so we agreed to part ways and meet back later.

“Aren’t you dating Chloe’s friend though? The model?” Sometimes I felt like our little group was a little too close….I was dating my nieces friend, her best friend had a baby with her brother…..I was now realizing how firm Mila’s ass looked in those shorts…..fu.ck Ames get a grip.

“Dating. Yeah kind of.” I shrugged and Mila laughed.

“Is that code for you’re just fu.cking her?” I took a double take and scratched the back of my neck awkwardly.

“Um…” she shook her head and laughed.

“I think you’re blushing a little right now. Ames Alere, flustered by a squirt.” She winked at me and I laughed lightly.

“I just don’t think I’ve ever heard you talk like that before.” I admitted, still forcing myself to think of her as the little girl I’d grown up with, and not the woman she was obviously now.

“I'm 25 Ames, I talk how I want.” She bit down on her lip and I nodded.

“Fair enough. I guess I haven’t spent much time alone with grown up Milena.” She nodded.

“You’re missing out. I'm buckets full of fun.” She teased.

“So then why am I with you instead of your boyfriend? And don’t give me the busy shi.t or the he hates Disneyland sh.t. I'm no expert at relationships, trust me, but if I want to be with a girl? I’ll suffer through whatever she wants to do because I like being around her.” Mila shrugged and it looked like she was just hearing it this way for the first time.

"I honestly don't know… I just always thought he was serious about work, which I admire about him. He does amazing things, like buys me flowers and gifts and stuff anytime he thinks he screwed up…" "It doesn't make up for not spending time with you…" she swallowed and the silence got a little strained.

"I didn't mean to make you uncomfortable." I spoke up, bringing her out of her head and she shot me a grin.

"You didn't. What you're saying is no worse than what Cam has said. Thanks Ames, I appreciate it." She replied as her eyes landed on the minnie mouse ears. She grinned wide as she walked over to it, "I don't think I have these ones." she slipped them on and gave me a smile as I laughed.
“Surprisingly, it still looks like it's completely for you." I chuckled.

"I'm going to get it. I don't have this version yet." she told me as she started to look through the rest of the store,

"What do you think about this for Gabe?" she asked me holding up a pair of Mouse ears, "I could get his name embroidered?"

"You are a big Disney fan, aren't you?"

"Definitely." She nodded, totally unashamed as we walked towards the register.  "Now it's my turn to ask. What's going on with your ex? The fiancé." I swallowed thickly. “What do you want to know?” she shrugged.

“What do you want to tell me?” I smiled at her. That was the thing about Mila, she not only could make the room feel her feelings, but she could feel others too. She knew when to push and when not to. She would make a hell of a shrink.

“She needed help.” I said simply. Mila nodded. “It was be selfish and stay with her, or help her get better. I had to do the right thing.” I felt my hands fold into fists and then her hand was over mine.

“You miss her.” She whispered softly. I swallowed again.

“I miss her.” I nodded. “I don’t talk about her much…sorry.” She shook her head.

“We don’t have to talk if you don’t want to.” She said simply. I shook my head.

“No it’s okay. My family hated her, it’s nice to talk to someone who doesn’t have a bias.” She nodded and smirked back at me.

“Yes I know the feeling. Too bad you share my family’s bias.” I chuckled.

“Touche. I’ll try to be more open about your douch.ebaggy boyfriend.” She narrowed her eyes on me.

“At least he’s not in rehab!” she snapped back, making me laugh, because any other person who said that? I’d be pissed, but she had a point.

“Okay, so you beat me there I guess.”

"I'm sorry…" she said genuinely but I grinned at her.

"It's okay little squirt." I smirked, pulling her into my arms for a squeeze. "You're forgiven." Mila rolled her eyes.

"And you're not, for that squirt comment." she pouted as she pulled out her wallet but I pushed her out of the way and handed out my credit card.  She gave me a smile,

"You didn't have to do that." I shrugged,

"Am I forgiven for the squirt comment?" she grinned and nodded,

"Yes. Thank you." she said, slipping on the minnie mouse ears and smiling. I swear even with those silly things  she was probably one of the most gorgeous women……fuck stop thinking.

"What do you think?"

"It looks perfect." I said with a smile. Mila grabbed the child sized ears and placed them on my head as we walked out of the gift shop.

"Do I look good?" I asked her with a grin.

"The cutest." Mila replied.

"Get together for a picture!" I heard a park worker yell at the two of us as we tried to decline, "C'mon, give her a big kiss!" He yelled as the two of us started laughing.

"It's not like that man." I smirked but then all of a sudden Mila’s had pressed herself into my body and pressed her lips against mine. What the…."She disagrees!" I heard him yell as the camera went off. I was a millisecond away from grabbing her tiny waist and kissing her the way I really wanted to when she pulled back and grinned and the guy said something about the picture I wasn’t listening to because I was still staring at Milena.

"Now what was the squirt?!" I smirked at her. She shrugged,

"Nothing. He wasn't going to leave us alone until we did."

"I think you just wanted to kiss me." I winked, trying to make light of it, it wasn’t anything after all, barely even a kiss.

"In your dreams Ames." She smirked, "I just wanted to prove that I'm no longer a squirt."

“Are you blushing?!” I smirked pointing at her lightly pink cheeks. She swatted me away.

“Yes because squirt is embarrassing! You’re fuc.king a girl younger than me!” I widened my eyes and she shrugged. “Chloe told me.”

“That’s different.” I said seriously, though I had to admit….she had a point there.

“How?!” she asked, raising a brow at me and looking adorable with her little Minnie ears.

“Because! I can’t talk to you about this.” Mila rolled her eyes.

“I swear it’s like you think I'm still 13.” She shook her head.

“No! I didn’t grow up with Charlotte, I never knew her when she was 13!” Mila made a face.

“So? When she was 13 you were 20. Think about that.” I winced and she nodded.

“Still. I didn’t witness her growing up like I witnessed you. It’s different.” Mila held her hands up.

“Don’t blame me for being a cradle robber.” She smirked and I knew she was teasing me.

“Plenty of guys date women that are younger.” I reasoned out loud to myself. Mila laughed and my eyes were back on her lips again. They had been so damn soft, if only she had lingered for a second longer…I could have gotten a better taste. Fu.cking hell Ames hold yourself together.

“And plenty of people make fun of those men.” She smirked. “I'm just saying it’s a double standard.” I sighed.

“Fine. I won’t call you squirt anymore.” I said finally, grinning down at her. “But for the record? Only squirts kiss so tightly lipped.” I teased and I watched as Mila’s mouth dropped open.

"The only reason I kissed you so tightly lipped was because I didn't want to make you feel any more uncomfortable than you already were." she smirked crossing her arms over her chest, "If you want I can prove that I am no squirt in that manner." Oh god that would kill me. I shook my head before I could change my mind,

"I believe you. By the way how do you think your boyfriend would feel about you kissing me?" Mila shrugged,

"What he doesn't know won't kill him. Plus it wasn't anything romantic."

"You know, if it was me and my girlfriend put her lips on anybody else I'd be jealous…" I trailed off with a small smirk even though I couldn’t even remember a time when I had ever been jealous. Even with Odette.

"Braden gets jealous enough… I don't need to tell him about this." Mila grinned, "In fact, if he found out about this, it might blow his head off." She said giving a small slightly frightened chuckle. I was liking this guy less by the second.

"Really?" I asked with a brow raised as she nodded.

"He is insanely jealous…" she trailed off with a small shrug.

"I know I'm trying to be open about him, but he's not looking too good." I only half joked.

"He has his good qualities. I wouldn't be with him for almost a year if there wasn't any."

"You've been together for a year?"

"I know, sometimes it's hard for me to even believe, but yeah, it will be a year next month. I just hope he remembers. I'm the sentimental one in the relationship." she grinned, "So is there some type of anniversary on the horizon for you and the baby?" I felt my stomach clench. Anniversary?! Good god no.

"She is not a baby!" I exclaimed, "And no, this has only been a few month type of thing. We're just taking it day by day." Mila bit her lip and grinned,

"Oh and I just thought it was meaningless sex." she said a little too loudly and a family of four glared at us before storming off in the other direction and leaving me laughing.

“Do you kiss your boyfriend with that mouth?" she nodded,

"Yes and he loves it and I'm not just talking about the kissing." I groaned…for fucks sake…

“Don’t say anything more.” I said seriously, glaring at her and Mila chuckled.

“What are you going to do tell my parents on me?” she smirked.

“I might.” I warned, giving her a lopsided grin and Mila shook her head.

“The unfortunate reality for my parents is that you can’t be famous and not have your kids not know your whole life story.” I laughed.

“True.” I nodded, knowing that all too well.

“So you can tell them whatever you want to they can’t say shit to me about sleeping with the wrong guys.” I laughed out loud and shook my head.

“It might be a little hypocritical but that won’t stop them from doing it!” I pointed out. Mila sighed.

“And I'm not the child who got knocked up at 17.” She said shaking her head dramatically.

“Ben and Cami were crazy in love. It’s easy to make-“ she held her hand up.

“Oh blah blah perfect Ben and Cami, and their perfect son, blah blah, blah.” I laughed again.

“Touche.” I nodded. It was easy to put them up on a pedestal, even though they’d made a mistake they rose to the challenge and Gabe was an amazing kid, but being the sibling of someone like that? Chloe complained all the time about being the black sheep I could understand how Mila felt.

“I mean I love them, and Gabe.” She clarified, looking a little embarrassed.

“I know cutie.” I replied, pulling her into me again and looking down at her. For a second neither of us spoke, we just looked at each other and then I was pushing her hair out of her face softly, god her eyes were hypnotic. “You really grew up damn good Mila….” I trailed off. “Any guy would be lucky to be with you. I hope Braden knows that.”
"You know you sound like you're hitting on me." She winked and I laughed.

"Sounds like that's what you want Mila." I winked back at her and then cursed myself since I was fucking flirting with her. Ridiculous. She just rolled her eyes,

"In your dreams. I'm too old for you."

"Oh really? Are you using that against me now?"

"When you date a baby, it's hard not to."

"I'll take it." I shrugged, "No big deal." I saw Cam and Ben slowly walking and Gabe dragged them by the hands towards us,

"Uncle Ames, Aunt Mila!!!" He yelled out bringing an exhausting looking Ben and Cami behind him. Cute kid but dear god where did he get the energy?

"We had so much fun!!" He yelled out. "Did you?" I grinned, as Mila picked him up and he stared at me and giggled. "Those Mickey Mouse ears look too small Uncle Ames."

"That's because they're not his." Mila took them off my head and turned it around to show Gabe's name on the ears. He gasped,

"Is it mine?" she nodded,

"I got it especially for you. Do you like it?" He quickly nodded and put it on his head,

"I love it!! Maman! Look!" He yelled at Cami. She smiled,

"What do you say?" He turned back towards her and hugged her tightly,

"Thank you so so much Aunt Mila. And Uncle Ames." he wriggled out of her arms and ran into mine, giving me a big hug.

"You're welcome little man."
