I smirked as Jac dusted her hands on her apron and I came up behind her unable to keep my hands to myself and wrapping them around her waist.
"I love when you smell like cake," I said and brushed my lips against her neck, inhaling that sweet scent.
"Souffles," she corrected before tilting her head up to look at me.
"Isn't that the same thing?"

"What the hell?" I blinked as I watched the movers walking through the house bringing in piece after piece of furniture into Jac and I's new house.
"Where do you want the bed Miss Duchannes?" A guy walked up to my girlfriend....a little too close and she smiled at him.
"In the bedroom, up against the far wall."
"It's a big bed for such a tiny thing like you." He ran his hand down her arm and she smirked as she saw me behind him right before I grabbed the guys arm and twisted it behind his back.

I lifted a brow as my girlfriend blocked my view of the game and then walked over to straddle my lap.
"I was watching the game," I smirked. But any man who wanted to watch sports over Jac? Was a moron.

I handed Jac a cup of punch and leaned down to kiss her cheek.
"How are you feeling?"
"I don't know...." She sighed. "I feel like everyone's walking on eggshells." I looked over at her sister, the usual light in her eyes pretty much gone. I knew Jac wanted to be with her more but it was hard living so far away.
"What do you want them to do love, throw a graduation/baby shower party?" I smirked and she chuckled a little.
"I just wish I was here more.....I wish I was with you more." She shook her head. "I feel like I'm being pulled into a bunch of different directions by all the people I love." I nodded.

Something good was happening. Specifically in my boxers. I must be dreaming. I groaned and arched my hips up into whatever it was before opening my eyes and seeing Jac hovering over me.

"Jesus Jac," I muttered under my breath as she lifted her head to smile at me wickedly. Damn it I had to be the luckiest guy on earth.

"Good morning," she whispered before pushing my boxers down. Fuck.

I climbed out of my truck and went to the back to grab the small amount of luggage we had. I was a little nervous. I was surprising Jac with a trip home for Thanksgiving and I wasn't sure if I'd made the right choice or not. But honestly? Anything was better than not being with her at all.

I took a deep breath and knocked on the door of the apartment that used to be mine. It wasn’t an incredibly long flight from Vancouver to Texas but it had been a long couple of weeks and though I was happy to be home… I was exhausted. I’d never worked so hard in my life and I wish I could say I enjoyed it…but I didn’t. I didn’t like my co-workers, I barely liked my boss and I missed my family, and my friends. And Jac. I could barely stop thinking about her but couldn’t bring myself to call her. I didn’t want to hear about home, how great Allure was, how much she clearly wasn’t missing me because I hadn’t heard from her. Fu.ck. Garrett opened the door and gave me a huge grin.

“Hey the party can start now! My brother’s here!!” he called out before hugging me as I heard cheers coming from the room. I walked in and set my suitcase on the table when Thea jumped into my arms.

“Why did you leave again?!” she asked as I hugged her back, kissing her cheek before pulling away.

I prided myself on not thinking about Jac for a good 10 minutes before realizing that thinking about not thinking about her was indeed…..thinking about her. I ran my hands over my face and stared ahead of me at the tray on the back of the seat. How long was this flight? It felt like I’d been on it for forever.

“Are you okay?” the girl next to me blinked. She was cute and before Jac I would have reveled in the opportunity to flirt with a pretty girl to get through the long flight. But she didn’t hold a candle to the girl I loved. No one did. I shrugged.

I loaded the last of Alyssa’s suitcases while I gave time for the girls to say their goodbyes without me around but if we didn’t leave soon she was going to miss her flight.

I walked into Jac’s place, picking up her and her sister for the birthday party we’d planned for her. I was nervous as hell, I needed Alyssa to like me and although I never really had a problem with teenage girls liking me? This was a little different. Though when I walked in I saw Jac and her sister hugging tightly. I tried not to let my mind wander since I knew her sister as only 18, but damn she was almost a carbon copy of Jac just…shorter. I tried to think about anything other than two Jac’s before they pulled away and her sister looked at me.

"And now it makes sense... the real reason why you're staying here and won't come back home," She whispered a little loudly making me grin a little.

"You must be Alyssa," I smiled at her, walking up to them. "I've heard a lot about you."

"I'm sure it was all good," She said cockily and grinned a perfect smile.

“Of course.” I grinned, shocked at the similarities between them. She looked me up and down and whistled.

“You are one tall drink of water aren’t you?” she asked a big smile on her face as Jac turned red.

“Lys.” She chastised as I laughed.

“You look beautiful….” I said seriously, taking in her beauty. Jac’s face flushed and I groaned. “We’re never going to get to mom’s if you keep blushing like that.” She gave me a grin and then walked to the oven to pick up the cake she’d made that was cooling on top.

“Don’t say things like that if you’re not planning on following through.” She replied, licking the frosting off of the side of the cake and slowly setting it in her mouth. Damn her.

“You’re killing me…” she smirked and handed me the cake before slipping into another pair of ridiculous high heels and grabbing her purse.

I felt a warm body nuzzling against me and I opened my eyes. Jac’s lips were pressing against my neck gently as she let out her little moans that drove me mad.

“Dean…..” she whispered, nipping at my ear.

“Mmm?” I turned towards her and pushed her hair out of her face. God she was so beautiful it almost hurt to look at her. Damn when did I start thinking things like that?!

“Are you awake?” I grinned at her. Since the night I told her I might be leaving we hadn’t spent a night apart…..honestly we hadn’t spent that much time apart at all, I felt like I wanted to be glued to her. To soak up every bit of her I could before I wouldn’t have her anymore…..if I could even bare to leave her.

“I am now….” I trailed off as her hand found my dick, which was already hard. Fu.ck…I could get way too used to this.

“I want to take a shower…..” she whispered, her kisses moving down to my chest.

“Oh yeah?” she nodded and straddled my body slowly.

“More specifically? I want you in the shower.” She bit down on her lip and I sat up and wrapped my arms around her, holding her body close to mine and grinning.

I hovered in the doorway of Jac’s office, listening to her talk to some woman complaining about….something…. mostly I was just watching her speak, focused on her lips…..I was seriously conflicted. I’d met with Kiley’s boss after she offered me the job and…..damn if it wasn’t a dream job. But leaving Texas? Leaving my family and friends, the only place I’d ever known? That would be hard enough without…..without knowing I was about two seconds from falling for Jac. It was ridiculous I know to think about a girl I’d just started dating when thinking about changing my entire life but….she was something else. What was I going to do? That’s when Jac noticed I was there and covered the receiver with one hand to whisper,

"I'll be done in a minute."

"Take your time," He replied and walked up to her, massaging her shoulders slowly and feeling how her body melted against mine. I loved that….I loved how she reacted every single time I touched her.  

 "Yes," she turned back to the phone. "Mrs. Davis, that glitch was a one time thing. I can guarantee that Allure Events is the premiere event planning company for the South. Let me direct you to the manager of human resources and we'll see what we can do for you." She listened for a second before transferring the call and hanging up the phone.  

"Bad day? I can come back," I said softly thought it still seemed to make her jump. She seemed really out of it.

"No. Don't stop touching me please," she replied, setting her hand on my wrist and shot me a killer pout that made my di.ck twitch. I smiled softly and moved my hands back to her shoulders, massaging them slowly and pulling her body back against mine.

“What are you doing now?” I asked.

“I could use a drink.” She admitted, turning her head to look up at me and grin. I couldn’t help it, I leaned down and kissed her, softly. Bad idea…..I grabbed her waist and pulled her into me, cupping her cheek and kissing her harder, slipping my tongue into her mouth and listening to her moan softly.

“Mr. Mcgarritty….I’m trying to work here.” She said pulling away and smirking. God she was so beautiful. My chest tightened at the news I had to tell her, but a part of me? A part of me just wanted to act like nothing was different, that we could go on and have the possibility of being a couple. I wasn’t sure I was leaving after all, and treating things with Jac as normal would show me if she was worth staying for. God that sounded stupid. And awful.

“Sorry.” I pushed through my thoughts and kissed her again.

“I don’t think you’re really sorry.” She breathed against my lips, walking backwards until she was up against the desk.

“I'm not.” I admitted wrapping my arms around her and setting my forehead against hers. “Do you want to get that drink?” I asked, worried that if I stayed here kissing her any longer then I wouldn’t be able to control myself…and as much as I wanted to act like things were normal? I couldn’t sleep with Jac without her knowing I might be leaving……right?

"Dean….." Jac trailed off as I peeled her dress off of her body and tossed it aside…..god her body was flawless….I wanted my hands all over it and my lips to follow.

"Jac?" I asked, catching her lust filled eyes and smirking at the way she leaned her hips towards me.

"Touch me…." I grinned and ran my hand up her stomach before swerving at her breast, running down her back, skimming her as.s and then resting my hands on her hips.

"Like that?" I asked in a low voice as I struggled to restrain myself. She shook her head.

"No…." her full lips were so tempting I kissed them hard before letting her speak, almost attacking her mouth, loving the way I swallowed each of her moans.

"No?" I whispered against her lips before trailing my own across her neck, sucking on her sweet skin.

"Here….." she trailed off and grabbed my hand, bringing it between her legs and making both of us groan.

"I need to be inside of you so badly." I growled as I rubbed her through the fabric separating us.

"Please…" she whispered and I pulled off her panties and wrapped her legs around me positioning myself before burying deep ins-

"DEAN!" I shot up and blinked, looking around the board room at Jack who was giving a mandatory presentation about gun control.

"Sorry. What?" I asked, swallowing running my hands through my hair.

"I was wondering when you were having the interns take their tests" all the Allure security interns had to take tests on basic safety regulations. Damn it I was supposed to be at work, I was supposed to be focused but all I could think about was her, was being with her, was having her…..It was enough to drive me insane.

"Um, why don't you set that up?" I asked and Jack looked at me suspiciously. To his credit I was pretty anal about most things and wasn't a big fan of giving out tasks that I could do myself. I had a pretty strong motto of if you want something done right, do it yourself, but right now I was too damn distracted to worry about something so silly.
