“Hey!” Colbie sat down at the table I had at the back of her favorite restaurant which happened to be my favorite too.
“Hi.” I smiled and reached up to kiss her.
“I’m sorry I’m late, I had the clingiest client ever.” She sighed. I rose my brows at her in question and she laughed. “Some women are pretty indecisive about houses.”
I nodded, thinking that some other women were indecisive about men instead. “It’s okay it’s only 10 minutes.”
“How was your day?” She asked, grinning as the waiter brought over a glass of red wine. She preferred red and so did I, another thing we had in common.
“It was long.” I admitted, feeling exhausted only thinking about it. There was nothing new about that though, but now I liked that my days always ended better when I saw Colbie. “My boss is an idiot. He’d make much more money and save much more time doing things differently but he’s too stubborn and old fashioned.”
“I’m guessing your way is the right way?” She teased, knowing how stubborn I was too. But only when I was right.

you're amazing just the way you are

“Hey!” I sat down at the table Jax had at the back of my favorite restaurant which happened to be his favorite too.

i'm screaming out loud to guide me give me your strength

I'm not the only one

Jax

I opened the door of my parents' house before Colbie could even knock, a surprised expression on her face as her fist stopped midair. I looked back at her with a huge smile on my face, not hiding how happy I was to see her. "Hi." I said quietly, biting my tongue not to add how beautiful she was since Will was just behind her, but my eyes travelled down her body anyway, making her blush even though her face was as straight as possible.
"Hi Jackson." She said back softly, just standing there.
I leaned into her and kissed her cheek chastely then I looked at Will, offering a smile to him to. He was a nice kid, almost the polar opposite of my nephew and maybe that was why they were friends. "Hey Will." I paused as I motioned for them to come inside, "Everyone's in the living room."
"And Rob is playing GT 6." He said back with a grin of his face as he headed to the other room.
Colbie looked at me with an eyebrow raised, "What's GT 6?"
"Gran Turismo, a video game." I explained and watched her shrug with a silly grin on her face, then she followed her son. Tried to, because I wrapped my arms around her and pulled her back against my chest. "Jax!"

Never could be sweeter than with you.

Never could be sweeter than with you.

Slipping into the dressing room, I closed the door behind me and walked quietly over to where Ben was standing, papers in his hands and a serious expression on his face. I leaned my body into his and wrapped my arms around him, sliding one under the fabric of the robe and touching his hard chest while I pressed my lips against his earlobe, "I've heard that you have a thing for makeup artists."
He looked in the mirror to lock eyes with me, shaking his head, "I've moved on to gallery owners, but I still have a weak spot for makeup artists if they play their cards right."

I fall in love with you every single day

Slipping into the dressing room, Cami closed the door behind her and walked quietly over to where I was standing, papers in my hands and a serious expression on my face. She leaned her body into mine and wrapped her arms around me, sliding one under the fabric of the robe and touching my chest while she pressed her lips against my earlobe, "I've heard that you have a thing for makeup artists."
I looked in the mirror to lock eyes with her, shaking my head, "I've moved on to gallery owners, but I still have a weak spot for makeup artists if they play their cards right."
She grinned back at me and set her chin on my shoulder, her eyes raking over my robe covered body. "I'm going to miss sneaking into your dressing room," She grinned wider while trying to make a serious face instead. "And oiling up your body.... I might miss that the most."

give a little more of me baby

I slid my new key into the door at Trav’s place, grinning to myself as I turned the door open and walked into the room. I smiled as Trav looked up at me from the floor with little Poppy his lap. I almost melted on the spot.
"Hey baby." He said quietly, tilting his head up for me to bend over and kiss him quickly.
"I'm sorry it's late." I sighed, shrugging of my coat before sitting on the couch where Trav’s back was leant against. "Colbie couldn't stop talking." And going in circles about her whatever it was with Jax. Honestly I felt more confused now than I did before we talked.

My heard turned toward the door of my house as I heard it close, even thought I couldn't see it, waiting a few seconds until Lila came into my sight. I felt the corner of my lips curve upwards and so did hers as yer eyes moved to mine to my niece who was sitting in my lap, her tiny body circled by my legs as we both sat on the floor.
"Hey baby." I said quietly, tilting my head up and waiting for the kiss she gave me a moment later when she bent over me.
"I'm sorry it's late." She sighed, shrugging her coat off before sitting on the couch where my back was leant against. "Colbie couldn't stop talking."
I smiled at her, wondering if right now my brother was with her sister. That was so odd. "It's okay, I was busy with this little girl." I whispered quietly, kissing the top of Poppy's head softly.
Lila frowned, "She's asleep already." She pointed out then looked at the Christmas tree, "She had to be tired after all that."
