Never could be sweeter than with you.

Never could be sweeter than with you.

Slipping into the dressing room, I closed the door behind me and walked quietly over to where Ben was standing, papers in his hands and a serious expression on his face. I leaned my body into his and wrapped my arms around him, sliding one under the fabric of the robe and touching his hard chest while I pressed my lips against his earlobe, "I've heard that you have a thing for makeup artists."
He looked in the mirror to lock eyes with me, shaking his head, "I've moved on to gallery owners, but I still have a weak spot for makeup artists if they play their cards right."

I grinned back at him and set my chin on his shoulder, my eyes raking over his robe covered body. "I'm going to miss sneaking into your dressing room," I grinned wider while trying to make a serious face instead. Technically I was still open to working special events and occasions, but I was no longer on call unless it was emergency. After Ava had found out about our engagement, she said there was no way I'd be able to handle a new business, planning the wedding, AND being the agencies head artist. And yes, somehow she had talked me into not hiring a wedding planner, but doing it all on my own with the help of both of our families. This was the woman who hired someone for everything, but she assured me that if I didn't do the planning? I'd regret it. She made a promising case. "And oiling up your body.... I might miss that the most."

He grinned and turned to face me, leaning his ass against the vanity table and pulling me into him, "I'll still let you oil me up, but I'll need something in return."

"Anything," I grinned, looking down at his chest then back up at him. "Why aren't you off work yet?"

He sighed, "I just finished. The shoot ran late and I'm supposed to meet with my parents in half an hour. They gave me a bunch of things to read over..."

I nodded my head, seeing how nervous he still was about taking the next step. He knew the agency better than anyone else, both of our parents aside, and I knew that his parents had put a lot of thought into their decision but it was still a big deal and he was constantly doubting himself. I believed in him though, I knew that he could do it. "Well, I just left your mom and she's in a great mood," I told him with a smile.

"Thank you," He smirked back, running his hands down my sides and stopping them on my hips.

I raised one eyebrow, my eyes dropping on his quirked lips for a moment, "Why? I did nothing."
He smirked wider as he pressed an innocent kiss on my lips before pulling his head back, "I'm sure she's in a good mood because of you."

"You were right, she's going crazy for the wedding," I said and finally grinned with him, leaning further into him. Then I frowned a little and confessed, "But she somehow tricked me into not hiring a wedding planner."

At that, Ben laughed, "Tricked you?"

"Yes," I answered seriously, "She has a way with words..."

He nodded, knowing his mom all too well. She could convince anyone to do anything, no wonder why she was so good at running the agency. "She's a wise woman and knows what she's talking about. And you'll have plenty of help, you don't have to worry baby."

"Will you help me too?" I asked, a small pout appearing on my lips.

He cupped my face as he smiled into my dark eyes, sealing his lips on mine once again like we were both magnets. "I already told you I'm your slave. Snap your fingers and I'll do anything you want," He said both seriously and jokingly.

I pursed my lips at his words, a small smirk working its way onto my face. "It sounds sexual when you say that..." I trailed off, not at all complaining. We had come to the conclusion that we were ready to try to conceive... but I swear, Gabe wanted to be around us always. Sometime during the past week, he'd started having nightmares and insisted on sleeping between us. It put somewhat of a hitch in our sex life, but our little guys safety came first of course.

"Wedding planning, sexual favors," He shrugged his shoulders nonchalantly with a fake serious expression. "Just snap your fingers."

I grinned wide and held a hand up, snapping my fingers before wrapping my arms back around him and leaning against him for another kiss; deeper, longer and much more passionate this time. I mean, it was hard to kiss him like this when we had our silly little man groaning and saying yuck in the background. As if on cue, my phone started beeping. With a sigh, I pouted again but checked the text Chloe had sent me. "Gabe told your sister that we ordered him a baby sister online and she'll be the flower girl at our wedding," I said while my eyes still scanned the text, a smile playing on my lips because he was so adorable.

He lifted my chin with one finger, meeting my eyes again, "I don't think we'll get her delivered in time for the wedding."

I wrinkled my nose as I let him kiss me one last time. "I wish we could really order our baby online and I could skip the pregnancy," I sighed before I gave my attention back to the screen of my phone, replying back to Chloe.

"If only," He shot me an amused look before he slipped out of his robe, starting to slowly get dressed again while my eyes went back to his body, it getting all of my attention.

"Why are you getting dressed, I like you half naked better," I pouted once again, walking to where he was to reach for his shirt before starting buttoning it slowly.

"Because I don't think my parents would approve," He said back, working on the zipper of his trousers, the tone of his voice giving him away.

"Are you nervous baby?" I asked more seriously yet softly, buttoning the last button as I looked into his gorgeous eyes.

He nodded, "Would you come with me?"

"Of course I will," I smiled back and cupped his cheek while I kept my eyes locked on his. He held back his emotions so often, I guess becoming a model made it easier on him. But right now? I could tell how nervous he was.... and I wanted to help change that. "You're going to be a great boss."

"How can you be certain?" He asked with his face unchanged.

"Did you think you'd be good at modeling?" I asked, knowing how much he had doubted himself then too.

He grinned and shook his head, "Honestly? No. I'm just lucky I have good genes."

"It's much more than that," I said seriously and smiled, tracing my thumb over his bottom lip because I was dying to kiss him again. "You're going to be amazing, no matter what you do."

He leaned his forehead against mine, staring into my dark eyes and smiling, "What would I do without you?" He asked before biting my thumb gently.

"You'll never find out," I said back softly before closing the small distance between us once again by pressing my lips on his.

He took that moment to relax, his arms wrapping around my tiny body as he kissed me back. When he pulled his head back, he parted his lips while keeping me close, "In a few months you'll be legally mine forever."

The door opened suddenly, his dad appearing out of nowhere and blinking as he saw me, "Am I interrupting something? I hope not because your mom could go nuts if she knows you two are messing around at the agency."

"Dad," Ben groaned while I hid against his chest. His mom had already caught us once and that was bad enough.

"Oh come on, we're all grown up here," He said as he walked over us, sounding amused as always if not more. "Hi Cami."

I finally pulled my head back, but Ben didn't let me go. "Hi Mr Lindsell," I said with a grin on my face, because I knew how much he didn't like that.

"Hi future Mrs Lindsell," He said back, not missing a beat. "Are you ready for our meeting son? Mom is waiting already."

He nodded his head, "Yes, Cami's coming too."

"The more the merrier," Corey winked at me then nodded his head towards the door. "We better get going. You know how much your mom hates when people are late... It throws off her schedule and ruins her whole day," He rolled his eyes but grinned. Everyone knew what a perfectionist Ava Lindsell was. Ben was a lot like his mom while Chloe took after her dad; cocky and carefree.

"Says the man who is late to everything," Ben grinned at his dad as we broke apart, his hand slipping into mine while we followed behind his dad.

Whenever I was with the Lindsell's, I could feel all of the eyes at the agency on us. People were intimidated by them and I couldn't really blame them. Corey grinned at his son and shook his head, "Five minutes behind schedule isn't late."

"You were almost 20 minutes late the other day!" He reminded him, having had to wait in front of his office for his dad.

"I blame that one on your mom," He grinned cheekily while Ben groaned.
"Dad," He said flatly and I laughed.

"Like I said, we're all adults here!" He replied, knocking once before opening the door for us to Ava's office.

"Hi Benj-" Ava cut herself off as soon as she lifted her head and saw me. "Cami. I didn't know you were coming too."

"I didn't know that either," I grinned back at her as we all took a seat, his parents on one side of the desk and us two on the other. "Is that a problem?"

"Never," Corey interjected and shot his son a grin, "Look at his face. He's so nervous he's about to go nuts."

"I'm not nervous," He retorted flatly, even if it was true, but he didn't want to admit it for some reason. "But I'm happy that Cami's here. At least I won't have to tell her about thismeeting when I get home."

His parents exchanged a look, and I swear, it was like being teenagers all over again. "Good point Ben," His mom said eventually, her face turning serious like every time she was about to talk about business. "So, your dad and I thought about what would be the best moment for you to start taking over the agency. Of course you have a lot to learn and it's going to take time for you to get adjusted, but you'll have us to help you."

"Talk for yourself woman, I can't wait to stop working," Corey grinned while Ava just rolled her eyes.

"We were thinking-I was thinking," She corrected herself, shooting a glare to her husband, "That you could start at the beginning at the new year, officially. We'd break the news at our annual Christmas party."

Ben listened to her carefully and looked a little intimidated. I reached for his hand and squeezed it. "I'll follow your lead, as you said, I have a lot to learn," He said back, taking a deep breath.

She nodded her head, "You can always shadow me. Most of what I do is basic business stuff; shoot e-mails, meetings, read through paperwork... Honestly, we've employed enough people that the agency runs very smoothly. However, I don't want you to think that because there are so many people who can carry your weight, that you could slack off. You're going to be the face of the company. You too Cami... and Gabe," She added, looking at Ben with an intense gaze. She knew how he felt about bringing Gabe into the limelight. He was still so young and innocent, we wanted to protect him forever from the life we had known since we were kids.

Ben nodded his head while I kept my hand in his, "I understand and you should know me well enough that I would take this job serious and never slack off." Ava and Corey both nodded their heads. "But it will be my company and I don't understand why that would effect my family."

Ava sighed and softened her expression, "All I am saying is that with you in charge, people want to know about you, who you are. They care about your background and the woman by your side. You two have done such a great job keeping Gabe away from the industry, but I want you to prepare for what might happen once you take over."

"What might happen?" I asked and blinked at her, not able to bite my tongue.

"Nothing serious," She clarified. "But people are going to love Gabriel. When you become the company Ben, not only you are under scrutiny, but your family is too. I'm not trying to worry you because nothing bad would ever happen, but people will take great notice in your family life. They want to trust you."

Ben had started shaking his head even before his mom finished talking. If there was something that the both of us never wanted to happen? That was our son under the world's scrutiny. "I don't want to share my son," He pointed out, the tone of his voice firm because he wasn't going to change his mind, "He's getting adjusted to our new life and already has enough on his plate with his parents getting back together, getting married, wanting another baby. I'm not going to let people stick their nose into his life. He's just a kid."

"What your mom means," His dad interjected, for once being as serious as we all were, "Is that it's going to happen eventually and maybe it's better if it does on your terms. If you're willing to give a little to magazines, they're more inclined to leave you more alone, if you shut them off they'll push until they'll get something anyway. You have to learn this, son."

"I don't care about what they say about me, I have nothing to hide and I'm old enough not to give a crap-"

"Ben," His mother scolded him and he just groaned, his grip on my hand getting tighter. "What do you think Cami?" She added, giving her attention to me since I was in this as much as Ben was.

I took a deep breath and parted my lips, knowing how it was growing up with two famous parents, a famous family and a last name that reminded me of it  every day. No one could really blame me or my siblings for not following in our parents footsteps. We all wanted success, but a different kind. I didn't want cameras following my son around like they had when we were younger, going along on our family vacations. Of course, Ben was already famous and I was well known, maybe we stood no chance at hiding our son in the first place... Not that that's what we were doing. But still. "I understand where you two are coming from because that's the only lifestyle Ben and I have ever known..." I trailed off, running my tongue over my top lip since my mouth suddenly felt dry. "Ben's already one of the highest paid models in the industry though. We'd done a good job so far keeping our private life separate from his career, so what I don't understand is why will that change now?"

Ava smiled reassuringly at me then moved her eyes to Ben, "Because the transition might make people doubt Ben." She shot him a grin, "No offence Benji, but models are misconstrued to be brainless, stand in front of a camera and smile then get paid millions. People are going to want to know what qualifies you for this position."
"But it's a family company," I interjected. "Isn't that enough?"
"It's a good start, but it's not enough," His mom said back, shrugging.
Ben's eyes darted to his dad who looked like he was on the verge of falling asleep. "I understand what you're saying mom, but I don't think that sharing my private life will mean a thing about how well I can handle the company." He pointed out, "Results will, I could have an awful life and still work hard."
I shot him an half amused look, "Which is not the case anyway."
He grinned at me briefly, "No. But I think you know what my point is. People wanting to get a piece of my family because I'll be running the agency? That's just an excuse. You know how stubborn I am and I'm not going to change my mind about this, not when my son's privacy is so important to me. To us," He corrected himself because he knew that me and him were on the same page when it came to our private life, our son especially. "If they want to think I'm brainless and I'm going to be awful at this? Let them. I'll prove them wrong."

Ava smiled at her son and she looked proud of the man he had become, I knew that I was. "No one is going to think you're brainless and honestly? I'm sure there won't be any privacy problems when it comes to your private life at home. I just want you to be prepared for anything that could possibly happen." I saw that look in her eye and held my breath, hoping she wouldn't start crying. "You're my child and I know how important it is to protect your kids from that lifestyle... I'm thankful that there weren't paparazzi everywhere when you and Chloe were kids."
Corey snorted and gave us a nod.

"Everything will be fine Ben, really," She smiled a little brighter. "I wouldn't ask you to take over the position if I thought it would harm you and your family in any way."

Corey leaned close to his wife to kiss her on the cheek then smile at us, "My wife has a point. You have nothing to worry about."

"Your wife first decides to terrify me, then says it's going to be okay," Ben pointed out instead, raising one eyebrow at his parents and looking skeptical.

Ava wrinkled her nose, like she did every time she heard something she didn't like. "I only meant to warn you on the possible scenarios," She pointed out, "It doesn't mean it's going to happen."

He just sighed, leaning back in the chair and looking exhausted all of a sudden. "You know how he is, he worries a lot," I said to Ava, smiling as I shot my man a side glance and squeezed his hand. He was already stressed as is... This wasn't helping much.

"I wonder where he got that from," His dad interjected and for the first time he looked really deep into that thought.

"Are we done?" Ben asked instead, wondering if his parents had more to tell him.

"Benjamin!" Ava narrowed her eyes on her oldest child then sighed. "I don't want you mad at me... I'm only trying to help prepare you."

He grunted in response and Corey snorted a laugh. "I think that's enough information for one day," He told his wife and smiled at his son. "Honestly though? We've hired enough people to make sure this place runs smoothly. We complain about no free time, but I love BMM and have dedicated a huge chunk of my life to it. You're going to do great and love what you do."

Ava nodded her head, "Your father is right."

Corey's eyes bulged, "Did I just hear your mother correctly?"

She rolled her eyes but grinned, leaning into him for another kiss. I smiled at the two of them, only feeling love every time I was around the Lindsells. "Okay Ben, I guess that's it for today," She said while still looking at her husband. I had the feeling that they were just trying to get rid of us now... and I could already sense the disgusted look on my fiances handsome face.

"Are you in a hurry to be alone with Dad?" He asked flatly, not amused, and got up while holding my hand in his. "Don't worry, we're leaving."

His mother was used to his mood just as he was to their display of affection, so she just shot him a look, "We can talk more another day, for now you should think about what we've said today."

He nodded, "Okay mom. Dad," He added before making his way out the office while I shrugged in their direction and blew them one kiss. They were after all like parents to me... soon they would be officially.

"What's wrong?" I broke into my fiances thoughts after realizing he was being so quiet.

He turned his head towards me and wrapped an arm around my shoulders as we walked down the hallway, "Nothing baby. I always get annoyed when I feel like Gabe's privacy could not be safe."

I parted my lips then shrugged and eventually let out a sigh because I knew where he was coming from and I couldn't blame him. "Everything is going to be fine," I said in a reassuring tone as if it were for the both of us and in a way, it was. I trusted his parents with not only my life, but our boys too. "Your parents wouldn't put you in a bad situation."

He nodded reluctantly, "I guess you're right."
"I'm always right baby," I grinned at him, some of the tension freeing from me.

"I forgot," He let out a small laugh. "I invited Chloe and Tristan to spend a day few days with us at the alps."

I widened my eyes, surprised by the gesture since I could never tell if he was 100% on board with his best friend dating his sister. I mean, I knew that he was trying, but still. "Are they coming?" I asked curiously.

"I don't know," He shrugged and looked unsure.

I made a thoughtful expression, "I can't really imagine your sister saying no to that."

He grinned at me eventually, "True. But I asked Tristan so it might take a little to have him say yes. He was coming up with excuses like...work."

"But you're going to be his boss you could literally force him to come with us," I said back and let out a silly laugh, "I'm surprised you asked him. Good surprised."

He squeezed me against his side, keeping his eyes on me as we walked out of the agency, "It was all part of my plan, have them watch Gabe while we make babies."

A laugh escaped my lips and the only thing I could think about was how bad I wanted to marry this man... how I couldn't wait for him to be mine forever. He was perfect. "Well in that case? I hope they'll come," I said seriously and smiled, imagining a vacation with my family and our friends. Honestly, it sounded a little weird, but good too. I wasn't sure what Ben was thinking in inviting them in the first place, but that was his call.

He smiled back at me then kissed the top of my head, "Do you want to do lunch?"

"I want to go home and practice making babies instead," I grinned back mischievously.

He laughed and shook his head, "If we're going to have sex then I should probably eat first... otherwise I'll have no strength."

I faked a sigh then smiled again, "I guess you have a point."
