Lila took a sip of the coffee that I handed her and sighed. I watched her enjoy it with a pensive expression on her face. "Do you miss blow jobs?" She asked, making me choke on my own coffee, shake hy head and blink up at her.
"What?!" I asked looking at her like the silly girl she was.
"We're skipping a lot of foreplay since we're trying to get pregnant. I'm just wondering." She shrugged.
"I haven't actually thought about it until now." I laughed and that was true. Sure, sometimes I missed having more time to spoil her and let me spoil me but I was still perfectly happy with what I got.
"I don't want our sex life to just be about having a baby is all." She pointed out.
I laughed again. "You're ridiculous." I replied. "But if you're offering me right now I'm not going to say no." I smirked.
"What?!" I asked looking at her like the silly girl she was.

I laughed again. "You're ridiculous." I replied. "But if you're offering me right now I'm not going to say no." I smirked.
"Okay." She grinned and climbed into my lap, reaching down to kiss my lips.
I kissed her back, running my hands down her back to her hips. This was a very nice turn of events. "You're feisty this morning." I laughed against her lips.
She ground her hips into me. "Aren't I always?" She asked, reaching for the hem of my t-shirt and pulling it over my head before pulling away from my lips to get a look at the view.
"Like what you see darling?" I smirked and she nodded.
"Always." She slinked off my lap and onto her knees in front of me just as someone rang the doorbell. She blinked while I groaned. "Are you expecting company?" She asked me.
I felt annoyed immediately as I shook my head. "Maybe Tara got into it with Caleb again."
She pouted. "I hope not. They're so cute together."
I stood up, not bothering to put my shirt back on as I opened the door to my brother.
"Hey." He grinned all happy as usual. Sometimes I thought he was my polar opposite.
"What are you doing here?" I growled, not liking getting interrupted.
"Wanted to see if Lila wanted to go running." Jax replied. "Colbie and the kids are sleeping in." He shrugged, totally unaware of my mood.
Lila smirked as she peeked her head outside. "I had other plans for my cardio." She said making Jax's face twist in fake disgust.
"Am I interrupting?" He asked what was obvious to me.
"Yes." I said at the same time she said. "Not yet."
"Sorry little brother." Jax laughed. "Not like you've never cockblocked me before though. Why don't you come too? Get your ass back into shape."
"His ass looks fine from where I'm standing." She replied seriously.
"I'm uninviting you if you're going to keep being gross." Jax pointed at her, teasing her.
"Fine." I said. "But you owe me."
"Me or him?" She asked as I walked towards our bedroom to change clothes.
"Both." I called back, making her chuckle.
I got into a pair of shorts I usually used at the gym and a t-shirt, sighing because I was expecting a morning of hot sex instead I was going fucking running. I hated running. There was a reason why Lila always went with my brother and never with me, but how could I say no when her face had lit up at the suggestion? I knew she was upset because she wasn't pregnant yet, even if she didn't say it, even if we didn't talk about. When I got back downstairs I found my brother and my babe chuckling like schoolgirls while drinking coffee. "Are we going or you want to keep talking?" I asked as I shot them an amused look.
Lila rolled her eyes. "I'm going to get changed." She smacked my ass on the way to the bedroom, shooting me a mischievous smirk first.
"Even after all these years it still surprises me that a cheerful girl like Lila can be with a grump like you." My brother teased me.
"And I'm surprised that you managed to get two kids in less than a year but here we are." I teased him back, if anything I was happy for him. After all the drama he seemed to be perfectly in his element now. It was as if he had found his way of life while I wasn't there yet and not for lack of trying.
He shook his head. "I'm exhausted. I don't even know how I managed to get up this morning." He admitted, making a face but not looking any less happy.
"You could've slept in silly man!" Lila appeared again, her hands busy pulling her hair up in a ponytail. She was wearing a pair of short shorts with two slits on each side and some kind of top that was basically a bra.
I raised one eyebrow at her. "Do you always go running dressed like this?" I asked her as she walked past me and I looked at her ass which was as tempting as ever.
She ignored me completely and went to Jax instead. "Why didn't you sleep in?!" She asked, making my brother laugh. "What's so fun?!"
"I never saw anyone ignoring my brother, I'm sorry." He kept chucking.
"Fuck you idiot." I groaned as I lit a cigarette.
"Language and smoke!" She turned to me and pushed me towards the door. "Out Trav!"
I let her push me and kept smoking, completely unfazed. "What's got into you this morning babe?" I asked her while she went back inside only to get my brother out too.
"She's so feisty." Jax grinned at me while he started stretching.
"Tell me about it." I sighed even if I didn't mind. It was one of the things I loved about Lila. I wondered if our kids would be like that too. If we had any. I was starting to worry too to be honest, even if I'd never share that thought with Lil.
She ignored us both this time and started jogging in place. "Okay let's go." She announced then started to actually run, my brother following her.
I just walked instead, because I still had to finish my cigarette and I was in no hurry. It was Sunday morning for Christ's sake. Couldn't we go get breakfast instead? Or go back to bed? My brother had the worst ideas.
"How's my perfect neice?" She asked Jax, setting the pace at a slow jog to start with.
"Awesome." Jax grinned. "Too pretty for her own good and I think she knows it too."
She laughed. "She's too young to know it."
"I don't know. I think she might." Jax smirked while I kept listening and following them from a distance.
"Fatherhood suits you." She said seriously, sweetly.
"Yeah." He agreed just as I caught up with them after tossing my cigarette.
"You know why you don't like running? Because your lungs are angry at you." She said, glaring at me and making Jax laugh.
"How are things going with Matt and the lawsuit?" I asked instead, ignoring Lila completely.
Jax shook his head and sighed. "They're going. Matt seems to think we at least have a chance of settling with a small payment at the worst, and just getting it dismissed at best."
"Fucking asshole." Lila growled all of a sudden. "I can't believe I never got to watch you punch him."
"Your brothers never did?" I asked, a little surprised about that to be honest.
"You'd think they would have but they were always too worried about me. Clearly they were wrong."
"Clearly." Jax snorted and she elbowed him.
"I mean he knocked her up, but he did marry her. Then again that doesn't make him a better man really." Lila rerasoned out loud while I yawned, not much into the subject.
"He's nothing more than a damn sperm donor." Jax agreed, stopping at a park nearby to sip water.
I took advantage of the moment and smacked her ass and then squeezed it in my hand as I leaned down to her. "Now this....I miss." I growled in her ear and she groaned as She looked back at me but I was already sipping my waterbottle my self.
"I'll remember that." She smirked as Jax finished filling up his bottle from the drinking fountain.
"What?" He asked, looking between us.
"Nothing." She smirked, making me leer down at her. "Which way are we going today?"
"Let's run towards the diner. I'm fucking starving."
I looked between my brother and my girl. "You're saying that our run is lasting 5 fucking minutes? We could've taken the car to get to the damn diner."
"Why do you care, you hate running!" My brother laughed at me.
I just grumbled as Lila stepped closer to me and tried to be sneaky, pinching my ass. "And you look super good in your workout clothes."
"Ugh enough with all this ass grabbing you two." Jax protested.
It was my turn to ignore him because if my girl wanted to be touchy it wouldn't be my brother to stop her. "Won't Colbie get mad that you're going out while she's stuck home with the kids?" I asked him, genuinely curious.
He just shrugged as we started jogging again. More like walking fast. This was ridiculous. "She's still sleeping."
"I could text her and ask her if she can joins us later!" Lila offered and I thought it was a good idea. Time with family was something I really loved.
"You could've come with them from the beginning so that Colbie would have had your help with the kids and I would have had my blowjob from my sexy girl." I pointed out, tempted to light another cigarette.
"Dear god." Jax said flatly then let out a sigh. "You can't complain really."
"He'll always find something to complain about." Lila chuckled and I wrapped my hand around her ponytail while my other arm went around her waist to stop her from running and pull her against me instead. "Travis!!! You're going to make me fall!" She protested.
"Never, I got you." I squeezed her then lifted her off the ground because running like we were was so boring.
"Travis!!!" She kept protesting but was laughing.
"I swear you two are impossible." Jax shook his head but looked amused. "Like a couple of teenagers."
"Where the hell is this diner?!" I asked him and lifted Lila further up until I could adjust her on my shoulder. "She weights a ton I'm getting tired." I grinned and spanked her.
"It's three miles away." Lila laughed.
"What?!" I asked.
"You didnt think that our run was really going to be five minutes did you?" Jax smirked.
"You're not carrying me that far, I'll get whiplash." Lila chuckled as I set her down on her feet again.
"Running." I gave up as I shook my head and started in on a sprint that Jax and Lila caught up with, we ran in relative silence for about a mile which I appreciate a lot more than the stupid chit-chatting.
"What's wrong?" Jax asked, looking over at Lila.
I slowed down and as soon as I landed my eyes on her face I knew that something had to be wrong. "What?" I asked.
"Her face got all scrunchy and sad." Jax said, being incredibly right.
I looked down at her, my stomach twisting in concern. "Lil..." I sighed, so many words unspoken but she knew what I was referring to.
"I want to tell him." She told me. Lila and I hadn't atually told anyone yet that we were actively trying to get pregnant. But it was starting to get really hard.
I stopped running and walked beside her, staring at her to scan her face to see if I could find any more trace of sadness. She didn't look particularly happy but didn't look particularly sad either. We had never discussed telling our friends or family about our desire to have a baby and that wasn't because it was a secret, it just hadn't happened.
"What do you want to tell me?" Jax asked, not giving me time to answer.
"Tell him baby." I said to Lila with a shrug because I had no secrets with my brothers.
Lila took a deep breath but Jax was impatient again. "What are you pregnant?" He smirked at her.
Her face fell and I sighed. "I wish." She confessed with a frown on her face. "We're trying." She added.
"But that's great news!!!" He said enthusiastically, patting my back and making me groan. "I'm so happy for you guys! You gotta make a baby friend for Ruby."
"Hold your horses Jax. She's not pregnant." I shot my brother a side glance as I grabbed Lila's hand.
She stared at her toes as we walked all together. "We've been trying for months and nothing's happened yet." She confessed.
"Oh." Jax furrowed his brows and finally registered the information we were giving him in not so many words.
"Yeah." I nodded, not knowing how much Lila wanted to tell him.
"Well it takes time right? It doesn't happen right away." He offered.
"It did for you and Colbie." Lila pointed out, raising a brow at him.
"It's not like I knocked her up the first time we had sex." He rolled his eyes.
"No just like the third time." Lil muttered and he pulled her into a side hug.
"It'll happen!" He replied, smiling over at me. "This is great news you should be happy!"
"I just wish it would happen." She replied, shrugging. I had to say that when Colbie had gotten pregnant she hadn't been under great stress, while Lil had just come out a very hard time.
"So you just have lots of sex until it does? What's wrong with that? Besides once the baby comes you basically have to schedule sex in so take advantage of it now." He winced and I laughed this time. I refused to be negative, sometimes.
"Well that's one way to look at it." I grabbed her ponytail and tugged lightly, making her glare but smile at me.
"Who else knows?" Jax asked. "I feel like Colbs would have told me that..."
"You're the first person we told." Lila said seriously then attempted to change the subject. "Man I'm starving. Thank god we're here."
"The first?!" Jax widened his eyes as we got into the damn diner and sat at a table. "Why didn't you tell anyone?!"
I groaned, grabbing the menu. "Why should we tell everyone instead?" I muttered as I scanned it, not sure about what I was hungry for.
He looked at Lil, "Why is he getting so grumpy!" He protested.
She scooted closer to me and leaned her head against my shoulder. "Because he's Trav." She answered softly.
"I'm just saying, that is not something you necessarily need to say." I tossed the menu on the table as I looked at my brother because he was being stupid.
"Did you want to keep it secret?" He asked, raising a brow. Ugh.
"No I'm just saying that-" I cut myself off when I realized that what I was about to say could upset Lil and I didn't want that. "Nevermind. What are you hungry for baby?"
She made a face. "I don't know I'm losing my appetite."
I wrapped my arm around her shoulders as I pulled her against me and looked down at her, "Nope. Either you're going to eat or I'm going to feed you." I smirked at her and she giggled. She was so cute. Even if we didn't have a baby I'd be fine having her only for the rest of my life...no, my thoughts couldn't get there.
"You two are unbelievable." My brother commented, shaking his head. "I'll never understand you."
"Thank god." I shrugged as I ran my hand through my hair. "Where's Colbie?! I want to see my niece and tell her to never listen to her dad."
"Right here." Colbie said, appearing out of nowhere and holding onto Ruby's car seat as she squealed. Jax got up quickly, grabbing the baby from Lila's sister and cupping her face to kiss her.
"Hi." She beamed up at him and damn I'd never seen my brother look at a woman the way he looked at Colbs. Like she was his whole world.
"Hi." He kissed her back and Lila took that chance to steal the baby.
Ruby squealed as Lila took her out of the carseat and held her up in the air. "Hello beautiful girl." She said, staring into her perfect eyes while I prayed that one day we'd have that too because Lila would be a great mom.
"Oh my god. Go away. Don't stand next to me." Colbie pouted at her sister.
Lila shot her a look while Jax and I were completely clueless. "What?"
"You're so damn skinny and I still have baby weight on me! Take your stupid abs elsewhere." She growled.
Lila laughed. I didn't. "Or you could wear a damn shirt in public." I said under my breath, making her roll her eyes since driving me crazy was her favorite activity.
"You don't even look like you had a baby." Lila shook her head.
"You're still the sexist woman I've ever seen." Jax told her, scooting into the booth next to her as Lila cuddled Ruby against her.
"Besides." She said offhandedly. "If things go my way I'll only gain weight."
"What?" Colbie asked, blinking at her. Lila pulled away from Ruby and gave her a long look, the kind where telepathy is involved. "Oh." Colbs added.
Lil smiled at her sisterthen took a glance at me and I nodded with a smile. "We're trying to get pregnant." She admitted, making Colbie widen her eyes and then start tearing up.
"Oh my god." She choked on her words while Ruby held her hand out to her mother as if to comfort her.
"Don't cry baby." Jax smirked, pulling her close.
"Seriously." I groaned and shook my head, disapproving that behavior completely. I didn't want them to get too excited or teary eyed because there was no reason at all. Lila wasn't pregnant yet and we didn't know when she'd be, celebrating in advance would only stress her out more if the next pregnancy test was negative again. We had to be...descretely happy. Not too much.
"I'm not crying." Colbie took a deep breath and smiled at her sister. "I'm just so happy for you. I'll be an aunt!!!"
"You'll be nothing for now." I grumbled and Lila glared at me.
Jax raised one eyebrow at me instead, "What's your problem?" He asked, sounding annoyed and defensive. Ha. He could only try.
"My problem is that my girlfriend is not pregnant yet so I'd appreciate if we stopped talking as if she is." I said in monotone. I didn't want them to make Lila too excited because I was too afraid it'd blow in our face eventually. In my face mostly.
"But I will be..." Lil trailed off and I noticed the hesitant way she said that, like she wasn't sure about that.
I wasn't either but I couldn't let her know. "Of course you will." I kissed her forehead and chuckled when Ruby grabbed my beard. "Such a strong baby girl we have here."
"Are you done being grumpy?" Jax asked me flatly and watched as I grabbed Ruby and sat her on the table, letting her play with my beard, with my hair, with my face, with anything she wanted.
"Never." I shrugged even though I didn't want to ruin this day to anyone.
"What's new." Lil sighed as the waitress approached our table and took our order. "Where's Will?" She asked as soon as we were alone again.
"With his girlfriend?" I asked, amusement in my tone because lately I had seen a girl at the game getting a little too excited whenever Will scored a point. Being parents of a teen and a newborn had to be exhausting but they seemed to do just fine and I admired them for that. After all, they had fucked up royally in the past, that was enough for a lifetime.
"He's too young for a girlfriend." Colbie muttered under her breath making Lila burst out laughing.
"Oh please Colbs when you were Will's age you were sneaking out of our room to meet boys all the time."
"Really?" Jax smirked at his girl who was turning red.
"How do you even REMEMBER that. You were 6 when I was Will's age." Colbs narrowed her eyes on her sister.
"Because you used to bribe me with candy to not tell on you." Lila replied seriously.
"Should I bribe you with candy now?" She asked, almost glaring at her sister.
Jax laughed. "I had girlfriends at his age too babe." He smirked. "Though if I had a girl like you sneaking out of your bedroom to see me it would have been better." He grinned down at her and she bit her lip before he kissed her.
"Eww. Get a room." Lila threw a napkin at them which made Ruby laugh.
"You didn't have girlfriends at his age. You had that one nerdy girl who followed you around like a puppy." I joked, poking Ruby's nose and smiling down at her.
"You're confusing me with you. I dated the prom queen." He grinned. "And the runner up."
"Eww." Colbie laughed.
"Colbie was the prom queen." Lil said after sipping her coffee, making both Jax and I blink over at her.
"My woman never ceases to surprise me." My brother grinned at Colbie, being his usual self. "I want to see the pics of you when you were in high school."
Colbie laughed while I was too busy with Ruby who was having a great time trying to grab my fingers. I wondered if we'd have a girl or a boy. I wanted a kid so damn much. "Nope. Not happening!" She said.
"Lila?" He asked to my girl.
"I'll show you." She sided with my brother, not surprisingly at all. They were besties, exactly like in high school. Actually no, I was being unfair, they were like brother and sister and one day they'd really be.
"You wouldn't do that to me!" Colbie protested but it was weak.
"Try me." The youngest Trenton challenged her older sister, then she turned to me. "What about you Trav?"
"What about me? I wasn't a prom queen." I smirked but I was still completely focused on Ruby as she kept throwing herself at me and giggled when I caught her.
Jax shook his head. "He wasn't the prom king either. But had plenty of girlfriends."
"I was everyone's boyfriend." I said in an amused tone even if it hadn't been exactly like that. Let's say I had had a lot of fun because girls loved me.
"Why I am not surprised." Lila sighed but was still smiled.
"Look at Ruby. She's totally in love with his uncle." Colbie pointed out softly, her words touching me in more than one way. I was crazy for my nieces, I had a soft spot for them, I loved Rob too and even Will was part of my family now. But I wanted to be a father, not just an uncle.
I grabbed Ruby's tiny hand and pretended to eat it, making her widen her eyes then squeal adorably. "She's a smart baby." I grinned at her, amused to no end by the funny faces she was making.
"Smart or just blinded by the Travis Cole charm?" Lila teased.
I turned my head, smirking over at her. "Won you over." I winked.
She laughed as Ruby giggled. "Damn right it did." She agreed, leaning in to kiss me and then lean against the table to bump noses with Ruby. "How did you get to be so pretty?" Lil asked her as she grabbed on to her finger then Ruby laughed and shook her finger up and down with her tiny fist.
"Too pretty." Jax grinned like an idiot at his daughter, stars in his eyes as he pulled Colbie closer. "Just like her mother."
"Gross." Lila rolled her eyes at Jax who smirked as he kissed Colbies head.
Ruby shouted in glee as she played with me, my finger poking her tiny tummy. Babies were so cute.
"If she likes guys like Travis already you two are going to have a handful when she's older." Lila laughed.
"I watched you grow up, I think I'll know how to handle it." Colbie smirked.
"I was not a handful!" Lila protested with a laugh.
"I don't believe that for a second." I replied and shook my head.
"Me either." Jax chuckled.
"Oh shut up! I was a fu.cking angel."
I covered Ruby's ears and glared at her. "Do you want your neice to have a potty mouth too?" I shook my head slowly as Colbie laughed.
"You can blame our brothers for her mouth."
"I don't want her to have a potty mouth." Jax made a face, almost looking desperate. That was what happened when you had a Trenton girl in your life, you went crazy, in one million different amazing ways. Mostly amazing.
I grabbed Ruby and set her back in my lap, wrapping my arm around her as I looked down at her, "What about I steal you from your parents and keep you with me?" I asked the tiny girl who just giggled as she set her palm on my cheek then squeezed it. God she was so cute.
"She likes the idea." Lila chuckled, looking amused.
"I don't." Colbie pouted.
"Give my daughter back to me." Jax glared at me instead.
I grinned and shook my head, "Nope. She could be our daughter as well." I said, only messing with them.
Lila widened her eyes, "Oh my god that's true! So weird though." She said and looked absolutely adorable. "We should really steal her." She added with a straight face that killed me a little.
I leaned into her, pressing my lips on her ear as I whispered, "Soon we'll have one all for us."
