she's up all night for good fun, I'm up all night to get lucky by sassy
"Tuesday, May 14th; Casting for We Are Handsome swimwear. Put on your hottest bikini and your tallest heels, they're going for an edgy look."
I closed the door behind me, sighing a little and looking at the ground. It had been a casting from hell, the director giving me a hard time because I was too sexy then I wasn't enough, my lips too full and my nose too big, but my body could work...honestly, I was just happy that it was over. Sure I loved being a model, but sometimes it could get pretty stressful. I shook my head and all my thoughts away, sliding my bare arms into the sleeves of my silk robe when my eyes caught a perfect ass I knew well walking through the BMM hallway. So maybe my day could get better after all, I thought as I walked quickly towards him. "Hey, Ames." I said as I caught up with him.

So maybe my day could get better after all, I thought as I walked quickly towards him. "Hey, Ames." I said as I caught up with him.
He turned his head in my direction, a slow smirk making its way on his lips as his eyes took in my body. "I didn't know you always go around half naked."
"I had a casting." I bit down on my lip as if that explained everything and I guessed that in a way, it was. "Are you going away?"
"Unless you want to change my plans." He grinned widely, giving me that sexy look that always convinced me to do anything.
I processed his words as I looked into his gorgeous eyes. We had been dating for a month or so now, I had thrown myself into his arms after the umpteenth failed hookup, thanks to Chloe, and we hadn't defined our relationship yet but I didn't really care. He was a nice guy and great in bed, I couldn't ask for more at the moment. "I can't go around like that, can I?" I asked as I faked a small pout.
"It's not like no one has never seen you in underwear..." He trailed off. Being a model made that to you, your body was no secret and thanks to my last underwear campaign every person walking through Paris could guess what was my bra size.
"I was going to get changed." I said and paused, looking up at him through my lashes, "I might need some company, you know how I hate being alone..."
“Well it would be a shame to see that pretty smile fade.” Ames grinned and nodded. “What the hell. Work does itself doesn’t it?”
I smirked. “Not last time I checked, but I assure you I'm worth the procrastination.”
He grinned. My cuteness always got me what I wanted or at least it did when I was with him because well, he was kind of a cutie and he was the first one I went out with. He smacked my ass playfully and I jumped and squealed. “That ass definitely is.” He grinned wickedly back at me, flirting like he did an awful lot. Not that I minded, only it left me with a feeling, a weird one, as if there was something missing and it wasn't just the talking part. Still here I was, dating him, because he was so good to me, so smart, fun, cute...perfect. Theoretically.
“Oh? According to the casting agents it’s too big. Or too small. Both apparently.” I sighed and narrowed my eyes as he watched me walking away.
“I might need a better look to decide for myself.” He replied, not caring much about my model drama and that was understandable because if I were in his shoes I wouldn't either.
“Oh?” I turned around and gave him a big smile, happy that he was going to be with me for a little longer. I might have been saying that I didn't like being alone before just to sound flirty but truth was, I really didn't like that.
“Yes…I should probably inspect all of you, just to be sure.” He followed me into a changing room and I bit down on my lip, wondering what his next move would be.
“To be sure what exactly Mr. Alere?” I asked, my head tilting to the side and my long hair cascading over my shoulder.
“Fuck but you are gorgeous….” He said under his breath, but still loud enough for me to hear and blush a little.
"Too bad you're not a casting director, I'd have the job already." I winked at him and played it cool, as if his compliment didn't even touch me even though it did. One thing was getting compliments from people who had to work with you, or random guys with lame pick up lines, but Ames already knew that if he wanted I'd end in his bed again and again, he didn't need to flatter me. Still he did and it was a good feeling.
"That's for sure." He said quietly, closing the door behind him as he took him my body once again.
I smirked a little, undoing the knot of my robe before slipping out of it while I stared into his eyes, "You're not bad either." I said coyly. It was an understatement though, he was handsome, both his face and his body just perfect.
"I remember you calling me hot if I'm not wrong." He shot me a smug grin, the one I rarely saw on his face, and walked closer to me to set his hands on my hips.
"You're not." I answered simply, distracted a little by his touch.
"I'm not hot now?" He asked with an eyebrow cocked as he pulled me against him. Even in his expensive suit, dressed from head to toe, you could see how strong his body was.
I couldn't help but let out a small laugh, shaking my head quickly, "No. Not what I meant!" I paused to compose myself again and I set my hands against his chest, "You're not wrong, you're hot."
"I have a good memory." He said quietly, smirking as he tilted his head a little, his eyes dropping down on my lips for a second before he closed the distance between us and kissed me softly.
I kissed him back and let my lips linger against his as I stared into his eyes. I wanted to feel something...anything, but it just wasn't there. I was attracted to him of course, I loved spending time with him, I liked his personality and the way we talked so easily, but I was still stuck and I couldn't get that something more that usually led to fall in love. Maybe I needed more time, that was what I kept saying to myself, it was just a month after all. "Where were you going before I stopped you?" I asked once I broke the kiss, smiling at him, the tone of my voice soft and genuine since I was truly interested. I didn't want to keep him from work or anything. Did I want to spend the rest of the day with him though? Yes.
“I was going to get a headstart on some paper work.” Ames admitted, holding my waist near his still and I liked that. Even if it was just an illusion, it felt nice.
“I don’t want to distract you…..”
He ran his thumb in slow circles against my waist and grinned. “I think you chose the wrong outfit then.” He wiggled his eyebrows at me and I laughed as he lowered his head to kiss my neck slowly.
“Ames…” I trailed off as I closed my eyes just for a moment, focusing on how soft his lips felt against my skin.
He pulled back and kissed my nose softly before grinning. Such a cutie. “Do you want to get something to eat before we go?”
I rose a brow at him. “Go? Go where?”
He tapped my ass again and chuckled at my second squeal of the day. “My place genius, you don’t think you can tease me all day and then not follow through do you?” He grinned.
I bit down on my lip, his plan sounding amazing in my head. From nothing to food and sex with this handsome man? I definitely couldn't complain. “No I guess not.”
He moved his eyes on my chest, never ashamed. “Are you going to wear this to dinner?” He asked, using his pointer finger and running a trail along the seam where my breasts met the fabric of my swimwear, watching as my nipples peaked beneath it.
“Ames….” I breathed out slowly, feeling that simple touch everywhere in my body. The attraction between us was undeniable and kind of impossible to fight, not that I wanted to.
He pulled away. “Well get changed before I take that off of you myself pretty girl.”
I spun on my heels and glanced at him from over my shoulder as I bit down on my lip. "You can do it."
He blinked his eyes, looking taken aback. Then he shook his head and stepped closer to me again, pulling at the knot behind my back to undo it, "If you plan to tease me like this? I don't know if we'll ever make it to dinner." He warned with a smirk on his face.
"It's not like you never saw me naked before." I faked an innocent face as I pulled the bikini top over my head and tossed it in my bag before shimmying out of my panties, never once taking my eyes away from him.
"Yes but I'm usually allowed to touch you." He said in a groan, stuffing the pockets of his pants with him hands as if he had to keep them there in order to stop himself.
"You are too now." I shrugged casually as I reached for my underwear and wore it quickly, "But you're just too much of a good guy to do it."
That made him laugh softly, "Yeah I heard that getting caught where you work is never a good thing."
The thought alone made me cringe. "No, definitely not." I agreed and slipped into my dress at the speed of sound, suddenly afraid that someone could walk in.
He had to notice how fast my movements were and laughed again, making me smile and feel a little silly. "Don't worry, it's not happening." He reassured me, placing his hand on the small of my back as he opened the door and led me outside the room.
"We're safe." I winked at him, adjusting my bag on my shoulder as I looked at his face, wondering how it'd feel if he was my boyfriend...wishing I could feel something.
“I might take a little risk….” Ames said smirking.
I blinked at him, wondering what he had in mind. “A little risk?”
He nodded and grabbed my waist, pushing me gently up against the hallway wall and leaning in to kiss me hard.
I whimpered, like I did every time his lips touched mine, the effect he had on me was incredible and I loved kissing him, being in his arms, everything that involved his body and mine. “Do you want to get caught?” I asked against his lips.
“What’s the worst that could happen?” He teased back.
“Nothing for you.” I said rolling my eyes. He was Ava's brother, not just one of the models working for BMM and I wanted to be professional always, last time I checked kissing hard the boss' brother wasn't on the list. “I'm the one who’d get fired.”
He shook his head. “Oh please.” He grabbed my hand in his as we walked out of the building and to his newest car, sure the man knew how to enjoy life.
“Oh please what?! It’s not like you’d get into trouble, I’d be the one sleeping her way to the top.” I groaned and he laughed at that even more. Okay so technically he had nothing to do with my career, I wasn't dating him because of who he was, and I'd never so that, but still.
“To the top of what? I have nothing to do with your modeling.” He said seriously.
“So? Your sister owns the whole company.” I said as he let me in the car and got into his side. I didn't even know where I was going to end with my words, I guessed I had to rephrase everything because was coming out completely wrong.
“Is that why you’re with me?” He asked, raising a brow and looking over at me.
“Don’t be an asshole.” I spat back, but then I grinned when I noticed the surprised look on his face. “I'm in it for your body and your cars.” I winked and he laughed. “Such a good answer pretty girl.” He replied, revving the engine as he pulled out into the street. “Where do you want to eat?”
I tapped my lips with my index finger, pretending to think about it before turning to him with a huge smirk on my face, "I don't know, Montecarlo? Cannes? Nice? Pick one."
He laughed and shook his head, glancing at me for a moment before staring back at the road, "We might get late for dinner." He said back.
"Oh." I frowned, liking to be playful and silly, "That's too bad, I've always wanted to go there."
"Why's that?" He asked as he smirked, sounding genuinely curious.
I shrugged, crossing my legs and looking outside the window, staring at the sun that was about to set, "I like the sea and I've seen pictures of the sunset on the Mediterranean...they looked so gorgeous."
"Romanic, aren't you?" He asked quietly as I felt his hand drop on my thigh.
My gaze moved from his fingers to his face again, taking a few seconds to consider his question even if it wasn't an important one. Was I romantic? Not necessarily, but sometimes it was nice to dream a little. "I just like beautiful things." I answered casually and smiled when he raised one eyebrow, "Well maybe a little."
"What's more romantic than Paris?" He asked back, the tone of his voice showing his skepticism.
"Plenty of places I still have to discover." I said and smirked, even though I knew he had a point. The Seine, the Tour Eiffel, the Champs Elysees...there were countless places, but maybe I was too used to have them around to consider them romantic. Don't get me wrong, I loved my city to death, still I was eager to know what the rest of the world could offer.
"Are you feeling like discovering a little more Paris tonight?"
"I'm pretty sure I've already seen everything." I smirked, challenging him when really, I was thrilled. Either I knew the place he had in mind or not I'd still appreciate his effort, his cuteness, his willing to make me experiment something because he knew it'd make me happy. And still I couldn't bring myself to fall for this guy, how was that even possible?
He brought his hand to his chest, faking a frown, "Have a little faith in me."
"I do." I said back and leaned into him, kissing his cheek before sitting back on my seat, "I'm so curious I could die."
“Well now I feel pressured.” Ames smirked, pulling down a side street and parking on the road as I rose a brow at him.
“This is a park.” I pointed out, glancing around.
He nodded. “My sister used to take me here all the time when I was really little.” He nodded towards a bunch of abandoned apartments that had probably been condemned by now. “She lived there, bottom floor.”
I blinked and turned back to him. “Are you serious?”
He nodded. “By the time I was old enough to remember anything we’d moved, but I was a baby there. When Ava got enough money from modeling she bought us a house closer to her, then when she moved in with Corey we moved into her posh apartment.” He took my hand and walked across the park. This...felt nice. His hand, the park, the memories coming out of his mouth. “But we’d come back here all the time. Sometimes with Corey and when they had Ben he’d come too, Cor would teach us sports and Ava would coo at Chloe once they had her.”
“You were lucky to have them.”
“I know it.” We walked the length of the park to a little café at the end. “But this place? Has some of the best food you’ll ever eat and hardly anyone knows of it.” He grinned, leading me in and being seated by the young hostess.
I beamed at him, feeling happy and lucky. “You’re kind of precious.” I replied.
He smirked at me. “Precious? Like a puppy?”
I leaned over and ruffled his hair. “A little bit like a puppy.” He gave me a pout and I chuckled. “A lot instead.”
He ordered for me, the house special and a bottle of wine before turning back. “I'm glad Chloe introduced us.” He said genuinely. “Who knew her friends wouldn’t be awful?” He teased and I chuckled.
“I have my awful moments.” I replied, biting down on my lip.
“I doubt anything you could do would be awful.” He admitted, shifting in his seat.
“I am friends with Chloe. Do you think I could be a nun?”
He laughed again. “I know better than that.” He grinned at me.
"You really do." I shot him a naughty look while I took a sip of my wine, my lips curving into a smirk as I set my glass back on the table. "This tastes amazing." I said honestly, always a great fan of good wine and food in general. Of course I had every model's curse, I was nearly obsessed with my weight and my shape, fortunately I liked working out more than giving up on food.
"Only the best for such a gorgeous girl." He smiled at me, taking a sip himself as he winked, leaving me looking at him in adoration. He was really something, men like him were really rare. When he swallowed, he raised one eyebrow at me, "Why are you staring at me like that?"
"Like how?" I asked and felt myself blush a little since I had just been caught. Not that there was something bad about it, but still.
"Like..." He trailed off, as if he was trying to find the right words, "I don't know!" He gave up eventually.
"I just think that you're really amazing Ames." I said simply because it was that simple. He was one of the best men I had ever known in my own life, kind of perfect if you asked me.
He let out a soft warm laugh, shaking his head, "I did nothing Char."
"Are you serious?" I smiled at him, reaching for his hand from across the table to squeeze it, "You took me to this place that is gorgeous and not just that, you told me about your family too..."
He freed his hand from mine and lifted it, brushing his knuckles against my cheek, "I was in a sharing mood."
I leaned into his touch, staring into his amazing eyes and hating myself a little for not being able to feel more for him. We were getting closer, still there was something missing. Then again, there were plenty of couple that managed to stay together like that and they were happy about it, I had never thought it could have been possible for me, but the option of staying with someone so incredible like Ames even though I wasn't in love didn't sound that bad to me anymore. "I like knowing things about you." I said quietly, meaning it.
"I do too." He paused to grin as he poked my nose playfully, "That reminds me that I don't know much about your family instead."
I wrinkled my nose and shrugged, "There's no much to say, I have two normal parents and a normal sister." I explained, then winked at him, "Not even nearly as interesting as yours."
“Well that’s not fair.” Ames smirked back at me. “My family is unusually interesting to people for some reason. Doesn’t mean you’re boring.”
I smirked. “Of course they’re interesting, it’s everything people want in a story. Both Ava and Corey came from little and somehow they managed to be rich famous and in love? That’s damn entertaining.”
He laughed at me. “Sure but then why are people remotely interested in me? I'm nothing and I still end up on a tabloid every now and then.”
I shrugged. “You’re a lawyer. And you’re unusually attractive. That’s also highly entertaining.”
He just chuckled. “We’re on me again and we were supposed to be on you.” He teased.
I batted my eyes slowly, playing dumb. “You want to get on me in the restaurant?” I asked, acting semi-scandalized.
“I wouldn’t be against it….” He said under his breath seriously, while it took everything in me to not moan at the thought only. “But come on, do you know how long it’s been since I’ve actually wanted to get to know a girl?”
I tilted my head to the side, processing his words. “Why would that girl be me then?”
He shrugged. “I like you very much.” He said, sounding genuine and I believed him. One of the things I liked the most about him was his honesty and how he never acted like there was more between us than what there actually was.
“Hmmm…the feelings are mutual.” I grinned and took another sip of my wine as the waitress brought out our food.
“Good. So then tell me everything I should know. Go.” He smirked.
"Oh dear god this looks delicious." I widened my eyes a little, staring at my encornets à l’étuvée with love. "I swear I was craving fish...did you read my mind?"
He smirked at me a moment before attaching his food, "Maybe." He said quietly, looking pleased with himself.
I grinned wider, looking into his eyes, "You're a talented man." I said back in an innocent way, even if my mind was already taking the dirty route since I knew that he was talented in so many ways, just as many as he could make me come.
He broke into a laugh and shook his head, bringing his glass to his mouth, "I know thank you. But it seems to me that you're just taking time to answer me."
"What about me?" I furrowed my brows and faked an innocent look as I ate a forkful of squid.
"Everything about you silly girl, don't even try to act innocent..." He trailed off, not falling into my trick.
I licked my top lip, sighing, "I don't like being in the spotlight." I explained quietly. After hearing all those things from him? My life sounded so normal and borderline lame.
"Coming from a model? I find it hard to believe." He said but winked at me, letting me know he was just joking and setting his free hand on my knees from under the table.
I swallowed and smiled, loving how he always had the perfect words coming out of his mouth, "What do you want to know?" I asked instead.
"I don't know...so far I know that you like crepes suzette, wandering around the city with no destination, cuddles and being on top of me." He ended with a smirk, giving me a pretty accurate description of me.
"See you know me already." I wrinkled my nose, "There's not much more to know. My family is pretty boring, my dad's a journalist and my mom's a choreographer...they don't end up on magazines, that's for sure." I grinned a little. I loved my parents and my sister, they're just really different from me.
“You sure you don’t like the spotlight?” Ames asked, smirking as I shrugged.
“I like modeling because I love fashion, it’s not about being the center of attention.”
He narrowed his eyes. “Okay….and I don’t mean to sound cocky or anything when I say this, but you’re best friends with Chloe….you’re dating me…that sounds like you like being paid attention to.”
I smirked, trying not to be offended. I wasn't certainly that kind of girl but if I were? I'd aim higher. “I don’t mind attentions from hot men, that’s for sure.” I replied, taking another bite and moaning softly before I kept speaking. “But the good thing about being friends with Chloe is that SHE is always the center of attention, I get to go along for the crazy ride without getting all the heat.”
He nodded. “Makes sense I guess.” He replied. “…..how crazy?” He added.
I shook my head, knowing better than betraying my friend with her uncle. Damn that was messed up. “Oh no no, I'm not telling you all Chloe’s secrets just because you buy me dinner.” I replied as I laughed.
“Oh damn it.” He teased, before leaning into the table. “But you are going to put out right?”
I bit my lip and nodded. “Oh definitely.”
He leaned back. “I guess I’ll take that.” He dug into his own food, devoured it more like. Guys. “How’s your food?”
I moaned again. “Some of the best I’ve had you were right.” I nodded, feeling content. Great food, great place, great man, life could be really good sometimes. “What’s for dessert?”
He laughed. “You better be planning one hell of a work out if you’re going to eat all that and dessert.” He replied, grinning.
Now, I knew that he was used to be surrounded by models, and I knew that he didn't mean to offend me, which I wouldn't, but damn he sounded like an asshole. No girl in the whole world would like hearing her date pointing out that she was eating a lot. “I have a strict work out planned for tonight yes.” I nodded seriously, joking about it instead.
He widened his. “Tonight? It’s getting late, should I drop you off at a gym on the way home?”
"You should take me home instead." I answered and let a smirk play on my lips before I took the last bite of my food and leaned back in my chair, not taking my eyes away from him.
He raised one eyebrow, the right corner of his mouth lifting and making a lopsided grin appear on his face. "My home? Or your home?"
"Your home." I said quietly, letting the waiter take away our empty plates before I talked again, "I can't work out at my place."
"Why's that?" He leaned into me from across the table, his smirk widening.
I leaned into him too, my expression matching his, "Because." I paused, lowering my voice, "I don't have a bed with you in."
He lifted his hand and cupped my chin with two fingers, letting his thumb brush across my lips, "We can change that, you know..." He trailed off, surprising me because we usually ended up in his apartment. I didn't even know why I didn't bother to ask, I just assumed it worked better for him.
"I don't care as long as you're with me." I whispered, looking up at him through my lashes as I bit his thumb gently.
He turned his hand to cup my cheek and pull me closer to him, closing the distance between us by kissing me softly. "Such a cute thing to say." He muttered against my lips, smiling.
I smiled too, brushing my nose against his before pulling my head back, "There's nothing cute about the things I'm thinking."
"Nothing, uh?" He said back with an amused tone.
I pretended to think about it, "Only the cuddles that will come after."
"I had a casting." I bit down on my lip as if that explained everything and I guessed that in a way, it was. "Are you going away?"
"Unless you want to change my plans." He grinned widely, giving me that sexy look that always convinced me to do anything.
