"So there's this guy I want to set you up with…" I told Cam from the kitchen where I was making Gabe a sandwich. My sister had dated since her relationship with Ben ended, but nothing stuck, and I knew Dante was an amazing guy that would be perfect for Cam. He was a bit older, but had previously been divorced and had a kid. That was the biggest issue when it came to her dating; she wanted to be sure of a guy before they ever met Gabe and it never got to that point. I looked over at Cam who was staring at Gabe with a dazed look, "Are you listening?" I asked her as she stood up and walked into the kitchen next to me.
"I don't have time to date." She said seriously, but it was a crock of bull.

"You only have Gabe every other week. What do you do when he's with Ben?" I gave her a look but before she could answer with the same thing, "And don't tell me you do something boring like read and relax."
She raised a brow at me and gave me a glare. That was all she did when she didn't have Gabe, which was understandable, but it couldn't be the only thing she did.
"As I was saying," I grinned as I grabbed the mustard before Cam yanked it out of my hand quickly, catching me off guard.
"He hates mustard." She explained.
I sighed, that little boy changed his taste so much, so quickly, "He's one of Braden's friends. Tall, dark, handsome." I winked while she just stared at me blankly. What the hell about tall, dark and handsome did she not get? Dante was gorgeous, successful and a sweetheart. Honestly if I didn't have Braden or a problem with him having a kid, I probably would have tried to go out with him.
"You do realize that we have a different type, right?" She lifted a brow at me. Honestly, I had no idea, but Dante was everybody's type. He was one of the best guys I've ever met and I knew Cam would like him. Sister's instinct!
"It's not like I'm going out with him." I grinned, "You will be. He is different from Braden."
"Thank god." She mumbled under her breath.
"What?" I narrowed my eyes at her.
"Nothing." Cam sighed and shook her head, "I would rather not Mil."
"Come on!"I whined, "Please." I pouted.
She rolled her eyes, "Can we talk about you instead?
"What is there to talk about?" I asked, curious.
"Where's Braden tonight?" She asked, "Do you have any chips?" She asked as I nodded to the pantry.
"He's working, but I told him that you and Gabe were over tonight, so he's not coming." I told her with a shrug, not really enjoying talking about Braden, only because none of my family members liked him. They thought he was no good, but he owned his own nightclub and was financially stable, so how bad could he be? He was hot, sexy and perfect honestly. He was a good guy and my family just couldn't understand.
She put some chips on the plate and grinned, popping one into her mouth, "Are you going to miss him?"
She walked out of the kitchen and I followed behind her, "I can do without him Cam." I grinned, "We don't spend every night together."
"Sure." She smirked as she sat down on on my couch and handed Gabe the plate while I sat on the other side of him.
He set the video game controller with a big grin, "Thank you Maman."
I pouted, "I made you that sandwich!" I exclaimed as he grinned at me.
"Thank you Aunt Mila." He said, nuzzling my side as he bit into the sandwich.
"You're welcome handsome." I grinned.
"Guess what Aunt MIla!" He said with a mouth full, covering his mouth with a hand as Cam gave him a look, "Sorry Maman. Better?" He asked, pulling his hand away with an empty mouth now.
"Much." She said with a small laugh, eating a chip.
"What were you going to say before your mom rudely interrupted you?" I smirked, messing up his hair with my hand.
"Hey!" Cam shot me a look as I grinned back innocently, giving her shrug.
"Stop it you two!" He exclaimed, with a mouth full of food again, "We're going to Disneyland! Maman and Papa are taking me!!"
My mouth widened and dropped, "Guess what squirt, I'm going too!!"
His eyes widened as a shocked faced, "Really?!"
"Really really." I smiled at him, "It sounds like someone excited…" But I couldn't blame him, I was pretty excited too.
"I am! But so is Maman…" He trailed off, leaning in closer to me as he tried to lower his voice, "Don't tell anyone this, but she's afraid of rides… I'm going to hold her hand when we go on them."
"That was our secret silly boy." Cam told him, tickling his side, knocking a few chips.
"Oops." He shrugged before grinned at the two of us as he picked the up and placed one into his mouth.
We wrinkled our noses as he looked back at us, "Uncle Noah said there's a one minute rule."
"One minute huh? He's silly."
"Are you sure he didn't tell you ten seconds?" I asked with an eyebrow raised.
He pursed his lips together deep in thought, shaking his head a second later, "Pretty sure he said a minute!"
pushed back Gabe's hair.
"You know Maman, Uncle Noah and me would always go to Disneyland with Pépé and Mémé." I grinned, "And she was always to scared to go on the roller coasters so I took Noah."
"Well now she has me to go with so there's no reason for her not to ride." He grinned.
"Very true." I smiled back at my nephew.
"Who's hand are you going to hold when we go on rides?" He asked curiously, taking another bite of his sandwich.
I smiled, "My boyfriend's hand."
Cam gave me a look, but didn't say a word as she averted her eyes. It was no secret that she didn't like Braden. It wasn't a secret that she hated him!
Gabe wrinkled his nose, "You have a boyfriend?" I nodded, as he leaned in and whispered, "Do you guys kiss?"
I chuckled and nodded, "Sometimes yes."
"Ew!" He exclaimed, shaking his head, "That's how you get cooties."
I grinned, "Well when you're as old as me and Maman, you get a shot so you don't get cooties, even if you kiss a lot."
"Really?" He raised his brows turning to Cam.
She nodded, "But you have to be at least 18! Doctors won't give it to you before."
"Oh." He pouted.
I smirked, "Is there somebody you want to kiss?" I joked as he started blushing.
"No!" He interjected quickly and shook his head, "No, just Maman."
I pouted, "What about me?"
"And you of course, and my Mémé's! And Aunt Chloe, but that's it. That's the only girls I want to kiss!"
I grinned, "I believe you."
Gabe turned towards Cam and wrinkled his nose, "Maman, why do you kiss no boys?"
My sister raised her brows as she thought of an answer, "Because I have you." She said, kissing the top of his head, making me roll my eyes.
He grinned at his mother and then turned back towards the TV, picking up the controller and was sucked back into his game.
"Are you done?" I asked him, waiting for an answer, but I got nothing in return.
"Gabe?" Cam said in an authoritative tone and he nodded his head.
"I'm done, thank you."
"At least he has manners." I grinned, standing up and taking his plate, taking it into the kitchen.
"Doesn't Braden say please and thank you?" My sister followed me with a small grin on her face making me narrow my eyes at her, "What?!"
"Braden's a grown man." I said flatly, walking to the sink and setting the plate in, reminding myself to do it later.
"Maybe we should take mom to his club for mother's day…" She trailed off, keeping a smirk off her face, "Are there cage dancers? Do the girls wear nipple tassels?"
"It's not that kind of club." I rolled my eyes, sick of the insults towards my boyfriend.
She faked a pout, leaning on the counter and setting her chin in her palm, "Well there goes that idea."
"Can you please stop that?" I told her, crossing my arms over my chest.
She shrugged, "Sometimes I feel like I'm acting like the older sister. Braden is trash." She said simply, "He doesn't appreciate you like a guy should."
I rolled my eyes, "Now you sound like Dad. From the second I could remember, he always told me no man is ever going to good enough for me."
"That's because you're his baby. You were his first born that changed his whole perspective on life. Except that's where you have a problem! You have bad boy syndrome Mil."
"Bad boy syndrome?" I raised my brow.
"You date these loser guys and expect them to change. You can do better Mil." She told me, "Unlike Dad, I do believe you can find a guy that will be good enough."
I swallowed, "Braden is a good guy! He gets nervous around everybody. He's too scared to show you guys how he really is."
She rolled her eyes, "If you say so."
"Can we just not talk about it? I'd just really like us all to be civil to each other when we go to Disneyland." I asked her.
She nodded, "I will do that for you, not for him."
"Thank you."
"Maman! I'm thirsty!!" Gabe yelled over the game.
"And what do you say?" She repeated.
"Please can I have some water."
"Yes you may." She grinned as she grabbed him some, "All I want is to see my big sister happy and I know you say he treats you right, sometimes it's hard to tell."
I narrowed my eyes at her, "What do you mean?"
"Well, when you're feeling something… everybody is feeling it." She grinned, "You project your feelings better than anyone I know."
"Thanks. Way to make me sound like a b*tch." I smirked.
"Not in a bad way. Just I know when you're feeling down."
I shrugged, "I'm fine. I swear. So I was thinking for Mother's day. We can go to brunch at Mom's favorite restaurant and then just go back to their house and relax there. Very low key."
"Sounds perfect. I'll have Gabe," She said as she walked the bottle of water into the living room and set it down in front of him. He smiled and gave her a kiss on the cheek. Honestly he was the most precious thing that was put on this earth and he was so cute it nearly killed me.
"That's fine." I shrugged, "I'll make reservations. What's Ben doing for mother's day?"
"I'm sure Chloe has something fabulous planned for Ava." The Lindsells being extravagant was an understatement. They went all out for every little thing. It didn't bother me but I knew that that was just the way they were.
"Good point." I smiled back at her, "Why aren't you at the brunch right now?" I asked her.
"Didn't feel like it." She shrugged, lying straight to my face. I knew my sisters face when she was lying and I knew when it came to Ben, she always lied. She would always have a soft spot for him; he was the father of her child, but why they didn't work out was beyond me.
"Really?" I glanced at her with a brow raised.
"Doesn't my big sister want to spend some time with little old me?" She faked a pout, making me smile.
"Actually! I just got a ton of free clothes from Nasty Gal and I want you to wear some for your interview." I told her, quickly leaving the room to grab the clothes I had gotten after my interview with Nasty Gal. Honestly the perks of being a blogger were amazing. My sister however, was a little more reserved than I when it came to clothes. I mean, I had a great body, I didn't see the problem with showing it off.
"Alright, you might need to go commando in this…" I trailed off, waiting for her reaction.
"Oh dear god."
