tried to break from this lonely pain, someone told me Im just insane by sassy
I kicked the door of the bedroom open as gently as I could, my hands busy holding a tray as I walked inside and stopped a moment. My eyes dropped on Cami's motionless body, it barely covered by a light nightgown, and moved up until they found her face. She was so gorgeous, lightened by the morning light only, still asleep and looking so peaceful that she could be mistaken for an angel. Only I knew better than that.
I walked over her, sitting on the edge of the bed and bending over to press a kiss on her bare shoulder. "Wake up beautiful." I said softly, my heart besting hard in my chest since I couldn't still believe that this, whatever it was, was happening.
She smiled but kept her eyes closed, moving just so slightly to let me know she was slowly waking up. I had woken up next to her for years and now I was so grateful to be back to that place again. "Mhm. What time is it?" She whispered in an adorable tiny voice.
"Time to open your eyes." I said quietly, smiling big when she did as I suggested. "Good morning."
I walked over her, sitting on the edge of the bed and bending over to press a kiss on her bare shoulder. "Wake up beautiful." I said softly, my heart besting hard in my chest since I couldn't still believe that this, whatever it was, was happening.

"Time to open your eyes." I said quietly, smiling big when she did as I suggested. "Good morning."
Her gaze dropped onto the tray in my hands, it being filled with everything that could make of a breakfast her favorite one. "I feel so spoiled right now." She admitted in a barely audible tone, rolling over onto her back and stretching her arms out to cup my face and pull me to hers. "I might get used to it." She added before pressing the softest and sweetest yet most perfect kiss on my lips.
"Please do." I murmured against her mouth as I stared into her eyes, wanting to make up for the lost time starting with the little things like this. She pulled away regretfully to lift herself in a sitting position, her back resting against the bed frame as I set the tray on her thighs. "That's the point of me taking you on vacation."
"Oh?" Cami lifted an eyebrow as she stared at me, her smirk getting wider and, if possible, even more adorable. "Is that why you brought me? To spoil me?"
"No," I grinned back at her. "But since we're here, I figured I might as well."
She picked up the knife and dipped it into the jam, spreading it over the toast I had made her. A genuine smile played on her lips, while I wondered where her thoughts were and hoping we'd spend the rest of the vacation as if we had never broken up. "When will I get to spoil you back?" She asked and brought the toast up to her lips, biting into it and chewing. She grinned as I watched her, wondering how she'd do that while she swallowed then licked her lips.
"What did you have in mind?" I asked with a fake innocent expression on my face, my eyes flicking down to her chest for a quick moment.
"Are you going to eat breakfast with me?" She asked instead, grabbing a grape from the fruit platter and popping it into her mouth.
A quiet laugh escaped me and I shook my head, "You're ignoring my question."
"Come sit with me," She smiled before biting her lip, watching my body move as I sat down beside her on the bed again. Her eyes dropped down to my abs, as if she didn't want to answer me but the way she was looking at me was enough for me to get it. "Help yourself," She motioned towards the tray, leaving my question still unanswered.
I grabbed the toast from her hand and took a bite, catching her off guard. "Thanks." I said after swallowing, a grin on my lips since her face right now was pretty amusing.
"Hey, no stealing!" She protested as she faked a frown, her hands trying to cover as much food on the trey as possible.
I only grinned wider, wrapping my arm around her shoulders and kissing her pouty lips. "Sorry, but it looked too good to resist." I said and glanced over her body once again, getting more famished but it wasn't food what I wanted. I wanted her, so bad.
"We'll see if I can forgive you..." She trailed off as she leaned into my touch, her head resting on my shoulder and her hand reaching for more grapes. "You have something to make up for now."
I looked down at her, my lips curving into a smile this time, a big ridiculous one that showed how happy I was right now. "I already have a plan." I announced, breaking eye contact because I knew that it'd make her curious.
As I expected she shifted on the bed and turned her head to me, her gaze looking for mine. "Tell me." She said seriously in the same tone she used to use when we were together and she wouldn't get a no as answer.
"I was thinking we could take the boat, sail around a little-" I started explaining when my eyes caught a little shadow coming from the hallway. "Papa?" Gabe's voice cut me off and a second later he was stepping into our room, rubbing his sleepy eyes with the back of his hands.
"Bonjour." Cami smiled to him, pulling away from me as I let me arm drop along my side. I didn't know where Cami and I were, but I did know that our son had to be out of it.
He climbed on the bed, noticing the food then looking at me as he furrowed his brows. "I want my cereals." He said in a tiny sleepy voice, wedging his body between ours and cuddling against Cami's.
"Please." I grinned at him and kissed his forehead, guessing that once I had spoiled one of my cuties I had to spoil the other one too.
"I'm so hungry," Gabe made a dramatic pout as he rubbed his tummy, getting a laugh out of both Cami and myself.
With a sigh, I crawled out of bed and left the room, leaving her and our kid alone. I walked to the kitchen and opened the cupboard, reaching for a bowl and Gabe's fave cereals automatically while my thoughts got lost in what was waiting for me in the other room: my family. Waking up with Cami and getting to spend a few moments with her before our son woke up and joined us was the kind of thing I had always dreamt of from the day I had known she was pregnant, but a dream was what it had been, until now. The bowl slipped from my hand and ended in the sink, shattered into pieces. "Fuck." I said loud enough for everyone to hear, mentally kicking my ass both for breaking the bowl and cursing when my son could hear. I groaned and grabbed another bowl, this time being able to fill it with cereals and pour some milk without causing a disaster.
"Do you need help out there?" Cami yelled out, a few seconds later I was walking through the door with Gabe's breakfast in my hands, setting it on the tray as she made room for it.
"Thank you," Gabe grabbed the spoon and dug in, her eyes moving up and down my body as she bit her lip, making it hard for me to keep my hands to myself.
"A bowl fell," I informed me and she nodded her head, smiling at me as I sat back down on the bed. "How's your cereal little man?" I ran a hand through Gabe's hair, making it stick straight up. Another laugh escaped Cami, it sounding like music to my ears.
"Delicious," He said with a mouthful, still making her smile but wrinkle her nose at the same time. I wondered why he never did it with me, but always with her.
"No talking with your mouth full," She told him.
He covered his mouth with his small hand, not hiding the silly expression on his face though. "I forgot." He said innocently after swallowing.
I raised one eyebrow at him since if there was something I couldn't stand was that. "Don't forget anymore, silly boy." I sighed eventually, never able to be really strict with him. Of course I gave him rules and everything, but always with a smile on my face.
He nodded, his eyes big and green making him look like an angel. "When can I take a swim in the pool?" He asked then opened his mouth wide to eat another spoonful of cereals.
Cami reached for more grapes, leaning her side against me just so slightly that I was sure that no one but me could notice such a small movement, but I felt it everywhere, as if my body was super-aware of hers. "No pool today, you're becoming a big fish and you need a bigger place to swim." She said with a grin as she noticed the expression on our son face, his brows furrowing together as he chewed his food.
"We're taking the boat today." I explained quietly, leaning my back against the headboard and relaxing like I hadn't in ages.
His eyes widened as he dropped the spoon on the tray, excitement showing on his cute face. "Now???" He asked and got on his feet, jumping up and down on the bed and giving Cami a hard time not letting the food fall.
"Hey, no jumping!" She sighed, even though her lips were curved into a grin.
He stopped suddenly and let his body fell on the bed, a ridiculously cute smile on his face. I reached for his ankle and pulled him closer to me, "You better finish your breakfast, get changed and pack your pajamas." I grinned, tickling his foot and making him giggle as I felt my smile get wider. I couldn't help it, seeing him so happy made me melt and gave a sense to my life, plus with Cami by my side I felt as if everything was finally at its right place.
"Are we sleeping on the boat?!" He asked, looking even more surprised than before. When I nodded, his eyes moved to Cami, "Maman can you help me? I don't know how to pack."
Cami nodded with her gorgeous smile still in place, "You better listen to your papa first and then I'll help you."
His eyes dropped down to his bowl of cereal and he picked up his spoon without another word, eating every last drop and then giving us a toothy grin. "I'm done! I'm going to take my pajamas off now!"
She parted my lips, but before she had the chance to speak, he was already on his way out of the bedroom. Laughing, she shook her head, "Who's he get his energy from?"
I wrapped an arm around her waist and pulled her against my body, feeling like there was where it was supposed to be. "Definitely you," I whispered in her ear and she shivered. "Are you cold? You just shivered."
She tilted her head up to grin at me, "No... You just drive me crazy." Lifting a hand up, she tangled her fingers in my hair to guide my mouth down to hers. As days passed and we got closer and closer, I wondered how we had managed to stay away from each other for years when our kisses, cuddles, orgasms and everything that filled our nights were so good. And we hadn't had sex yet, but I knew it'd happen soon and with that, a lot of questions would be raised. "I better go help him and make sure he doesn't pack enough for a week," She said with her lips against mine.
"He gets that from you also," I grinned at her, glancing at her lips when she faked a pout and pulled away.
"I was going to pack lingerie for tonight and have you keep me warm, but I'm rethinking it now," She smirked and stood up, setting the tray on the nightstand.
I let my eyes roam over her body lazily, taking my time to admire her long legs, her small yet perfect ass, her flat stomach and her perky breasts, them peeking out her nightgown just so slightly but enough for me to want to bite them. "Good." I said simply when I looked into her eyes again, my lips curving into a lopsided grin.
She set her hands on her hips, furrowing her eyebrows, "Did you hear me? I said no lingerie." She explained but as soon as her words came out of her mouth she realized how that was even better for me and smirked slowly. "Oh. Naughty boy."
I got up too, my hands itching to touch her like they did everytime we were apart for more than 10 minutes and that happened a lot, considering that during the day we had to take care of our son and act like parents and nothing more. I wrapped my arm around her tiny waist, pressing her back against my chest as I lost no time and nuzzled her neck, "I'll still keep you warm, you don't have to worry." I whispered, pressing tiny kisses against her soft skin in the process.
"Ben..." She trailed off softly as her hands landed on my forearms, her body relaxing in my hold and her head tilting to the side to give me more access. I was good at read her body and in her language that means she was giving herself to me. "If you keep that up we'll never make it to the boat."
"Mhm sounds tempting." I grinned against her neck before pulling away regretfully, knowing that it couldn't happen. It would though, eventually, that was what I kept saying to myself.
She turned in my arms and cupped my face, planting a chaste kiss on my lips as she stared into my eyes, "Do you think you can manage packing your things while I help our little angel?" She asked in a teasing voice.
I slid my hands on her ass, pushing her harder against me, "I can pack for you too."
At that she chuckled, even though I knew she was aware of what other kind of conversation our bodies were having, "You'd pack close to nothing." She retorted as she pressed her breast against my bare chest.
I smirked wide, "That'd be the point. You won't need much anyway." I said more seriously since I knew how simple life on a boat was. Plus, the less she wore the faster I'd get her naked.
"I wish we could..." Cami trailed off, blushing slightly as she bring up the topic.
"I know," I grinned when she didn't finish her sentence, knowing that we were both aching to have sex. We had had one million times before but now it was different, we were different, and working on whatever this was. I fell asleep with my balls begging for release everynight, it was literally a pain, but I exposed myself to this torture because I knew that in the end all this waiting would get me a big reward, which wasn't just being inside of her but being with her. Or at least I hoped so.
She slid a hand down my chest, feeling my abs against her palm and turning me on all over again. "It'll be worth the wait," She said with a flirty smirk, leaving me wish she could move her fingers lower.
"I know," I said again, still grinning and making me thing about when I'd finally push all of myself inside of her.
She ran her tongue across her lips slowly before catching the tip between her teeth and grinning at me. "Maman!! I need help!!" Gabe yelled out and we both laughed quietly, not much else to do when our little man kept popping up.
"Go help him and I'll pack for the both of us," I said and nodded my head towards the door. She leaned back into me and wrapped her arms around my waist, pressing another one of those earth shattering kisses against my lips. She broke the kiss breathlessly, looking into my eyes before smiling and I had to bite my tongue not to say those three words that kept echoing in my mind. "What was that for?"
"I couldn't resist," She said seriously, moving her hands to my hips next. "And I don't know what I'd do without you..."
"You'll never find out." I smiled at her, telling her what I always did, only now it had a whole new meaning, at least for me. Of course even before admitting to myself I wanted her back I had always known that I'd be in her life forever, but now I intended to be her life, her to be mine, I wanted us to be a couple again.
"I hope so." She said quietly and didn't add anything else as she pulled away regretfully, making me wonder what she was thinking. "I better go before our cutie comes here again."
I nodded and watched her go, my smile still in place until she was out of my sight. I couldn't even start thinking about the awful consequences if this thing between us went bad, so I focused on how my life would be complete again if she was mine again, keeping my thoughts positive. I reached for a duffle bag and started stuffing it with both my and Cami's things, bikinis, speedos, underwear, towels, shoes, shorts, t-shirts and all I could think about. A laugh broke into the silence, it coming from the bathroom and I followed it. I stopped in my tracks when I saw the two loves of my life being silly, Cami tickling Gabe as he tried to tickle her back. "Are you two ready?" I asked in an amused tone, our boy all dressed with his favorite shorts and a white t-shirt that matched mine while Cami was still wearing her nightgown.
"I am, maman's not." He said and stuck his tongue out at her, making me grin from ear to ear.
"Because I had to help you." She faked a pout and reached for the small bag with all her make up and meds and the things only women thought about, giving it to me.
"I can help you now!" He offered as he smiled, always knowing how to win his mom's heart.
She smiled back and ruffled his hair, "Go help papa, I need to shower." She said quietly, getting a nod from our boy before he walked out the bathroom.
"Hurry." I whispered as I pressed a quick chaste kiss on her lips then followed Gabe to my and Cami's bedroom. "We have to pick a dress for maman." I announced as I watched him sit on the edge of the bed.
"Why?" He asked in a tiny voice, as if that made no sense to him.
"Because girls love wearing dresses." I grinned at him as I opened the closet, loving how innocent and clueless he was, I wished he could stay little forever. "And you can't go to any restaurant wearing a swimsuit."
He nodded lazily, his eyes already wandering through the dresses before he pointed at one. "That one!"
I followed the direction of his finger, grabbing a short purple one. "This one?"
"It's her fave, she always wears it when she's happy." He said seriously and at that, I melted. He really knew his mom well and had to be watching her carefully always to notice such small details...I wondered what he thought about her with me.
"Okay then, we're all packed." I grinned as I folded the dress and put it in the bag along with the make up bag, just in time before Cami reappeared, her body wrapped in a towel and looking like a goddess. "You were fast."
"When are we going? I want to go now!" Gabe protested and let out a snort, looking really bored and I couldn't blame him. He was just a kid after all, waiting wasn't something he liked.
"I have to get dressed and then we can go," Cami told him as she made her way over to the closet. A loud sigh escaped him and she broke into a grin with her back to him, picking out a dress and then shuffling through a drawer.
"Hurry!! We don't have all day," He said in a stubborn tone and she tossed her head over her shoulder to look at him.
I scooped him up into my arms and carried him like a baby towards the door, "Lets go load up the car while maman gets dress." My eyes raked over her perfect body once more before I closed the door behind us, leaving her some time for herself. From the moment our vacation had taken an unexpected turn, we had spent every second of the day, and night, glued to each other or spoiling Gabe like crazy, all of it reminding me of how things were so much better when we were all together.
"I can walk papa!" My little man cut into my thoughts as he poked my chest, a frown on his face as he laid limp in my arms.
"Can you help me with the bags?" I asked as I set him down, walking toward the main door and opening it.
He ran towards me, spotting the one containing food and trying to pick it up, unsuccessfully. "It's too heavy!" He sighed, looking frustrated beyond words.
I grinned at him even though I knew it's only annoy him more, but I couldn't help it, he was adorable. "Go get yours, I'll take care of the heavy ones."
"Okay but when I'll be a big boy I'll be strong like you." He said seriously and looked at me as if that was a promise then ran away like a flash.
I kept grinning to myself, walking back and forth from the house to the car and loading it with our bags while mentally checking everything once again. "You made it!" I said to Gabe as he reappeared from the hallway, literally dragging his bag.
"I'm already strong!" He said proudly in a breathy voice that showed how much effort it was taking him instead.
I helped him to carry it to the car, a weird sound coming from him as I set his bag next to his seat. "What was that?" I asked, raising on eyebrow at him.
"I think I- hic!" His words were cut off again and it was clear that he got hiccups. "It doesn't stop! Hic!"
"Oh boy." I laughed as I looked at him, his whole body jumping a little whenever the sound came out unwanted from him. He looked really funny.
"Papa, don't laugh-hic!" He tried to protest but as soon as he heard himself he started laughing too, tossing his head back.
I smiled at him, messing his hair a little, "Hold your breath for a while and it will go away." I suggested.
"Are you guys already having fun without me?" Cami asked with a fake pout on her face as she came out from the door, locking it behind her a second later.
We both looked at her and then Gabe whispered that she was really pretty into my ear, getting a smile out of me as she lifted an eyebrow curiously. "I agree," I nodded and carried him over to the seat behind his mom, bending over and helping him get buckled in even though he always complained when we did that because he was a big boy.
"What did you tell your dad?" She asked Gabe with her arms crossed.
He shrugged and giggled, making her lose the forced look on my face. "It was a secret," He replied, having learned that word from Chloe.
"No secrets," She retorted and he sighed loudly as she climbed into my seat and buckled up.
"He said you looked pretty today," I replied and Gabe shot me a look, crossing his arms over his little chest.
"It was a secret!!" He grumped at us while we both laughed.
"Compliments make people happy. They should never be secrets," She turned in her seat and leaned over to kiss him on the cheek. "And thank you cutie."
"I'm not a cutie." He protested and rubbed his palm against his cheek where his mom's lips had just been. "I'm a strong big boy."
Cami shot me a both amused and questioning look as I started the car, "Strong and big? I wonder where you get that from."
"From maman." I smirked as I winked at my boy from the rearview mirror before following the road that led to the harbor.
At that our boy chuckled, his good mood back in a heartbeat, "No, maman is too tiny!"
"Hey! You're the baby here, I'm not tiny." She protested as her head shot back in his direction, her arm stretching out to tickle his belly.
"Papa says you are!" He retorted between chuckles, a heavy breath leaving him when his mom stopped tickling him and adjusted her body back against her seat.
"Uh?" Cami looked at me, a confused expression on her face.
I shrugged because I was sure that I had never called her that in front of him and I guessed that he had overheard, I could only hope that was the only thing that he had got. "Here we are!" I announced, changing the subject as I parked the car, "Are you ready to sail strong big boy?"
"Can I actually sail?" He asked wide eyed while he unbuckled his belt as we all did and got out the car.
"No." I grinned at him, grabbing our bags from the trunk and setting them on the ground, "That's for papa only."
He sighed but didn't push it, he was too smart to argue about that. "Where's ours?" Cami cut into our conversation, her eyes wandering around.
I nodded toward the small sailboat docked at the first pier, my hand grabbing hers almost automatically. And Gabe's eyes noticed immediately. "I'm walking you there before getting the bags." I said with a smile that gave away nothing as I grabbed my son's hand too.
"Isn't that nice of papa?" Cami asked Gabe and smiled, while I looked at them like an idiot, loving how good this felt, us being a real family again. I wanted it to last more than anything and I wondered how our son would react if that happened, him always being by first and biggest concern since I didn't want him to get caught between my and Cami's relationship.
He nodded his head quickly, looking excited to get on the boat. Ever since the day we took him to the museum, he had been begging Cami to take him on a boat ride, but she was a busy woman and I was just as busy. "Where will we sleep? Under the stars?" He asked, sounding a lot like his mom.
Cami grinned, "We'd get cold silly boy."
"Papa would keep us warm instead," Gabe shrugged, seeing the logic in it.
"I would," I nodded in agreement. "But no, we're not sleeping under the stars tonight."
"Then where?" Gabe asked him with wide eyes, being careful with where he stepped since it was kind of tricky stepping onto the boat.
"Yes, where will we be sleeping tonight?" Cami lifted an eyebrow as he looked at me, making me wish I could read her mind at least to know what she thought about it.
I helped Cami to go on board while I left Gabe's hand. "Where do you want to sleep? On the boat or do you want to stop somewhere and sleep in a hotel room?" I asked to my cuties, wanting this to be all about them.
"On the boat!" Gabe said enthusiastically and started bouncing, getting a glare from both me and Cami.
"First rule, do not jump while being on the boat." I said seriously, never being one setting rules unless they were really necessary. Like now.
He stopped immediately and made that angel face that always got us. "Is it safe to sleep on a boat? Won't we get cold?" Cami reasoned out loud as her eyes moved around, scanning the sails and the rudden. "Are you sure you can actually make this boat move?" She added with a teasing smirk on her lips.
I raised one eyebrow and lifted her hand to bite her gently, "Don't doubt your captain." I grinned back at her.
At that Gabe broke into a chuckle, apparently amused by his parents being silly. "I'm the captain too!" He exclaimed.
"There's room for one captain only little man." I smirked at him and poked his nose, watching him wrinkled it.
"I think it's better if we sleep in an actual room." Cami cut into our silly conversation, going back to business and wearing a serious expression on her face.
"But I want to sleep on the boat." Our little cutie protested, his infamous pout making his appearance in seconds.
I looked at Cami and nodded, knowing that in the end she had the last word on that decision and I'd just go with that no matter what it was. "Maman's right, we can sleep on the boat some other time." I said quietly and I meant it, getting already ahead of myself and thinking about all the things we could do if we were going to be a family again.
"Okay." He sighed, then looked up at us with his big green eyes, "Can I sleep with you? In the middle? I don't like sleeping alone when we're not home."
Cami grinned at how cute our baby was, using the hand that I had dropped to riffle through Gabe's hair, "But we haven't been at home for over a month and you haven't once needed to sleep with me."
"I tried to once, but you were holding papa like he had a bad dream," He replied back, looking a little embarrassed by what he had seen.
Cami's eyes widened and I held my breath, feeling as if someone had just punched me in the stomach. She opened her lips, looking in a loss of words, so I spoke first, "Sometimes even big boys have nightmares."
Gabe rolled his eyes at that and grinned, "But you're not a big boy! You're a man instead."
Cami smiled since Gabe obviously wasn't putting too much thought into whatever he had seen and I was grateful for that. But it left me wonder how long we were going to be able to keep him out of this thing between us. "Maman's never have nightmares. That's why anyone can come to me when they're scared," She said matter-of-factly and winked at Gabe who was smiling at her.
"Does that mean I can sleep with you two tonight? I might get scared," He said with wide an innocent eyes, there was no way we could say no to him now.
"Of course you can. You might need to keep me warm since I heard it gets pretty cold out here..." She trailed off, waiting for one of us to pick up on what she was hinting at.
I lifted an eyebrow at her while Gabe looked on the verge of jumping again. "Does that mean we're sleeping on the boat?" He asked and looked at me for confirmation, I was looking at Cami instead.
"Is it safe?" She asked me, still worried.
I nodded and I couldn't help smiling a little, "Of course it is or I wouldn't have suggested it in the first place." I said as I tried to read into her eyes her intentions for the night. Of course I wanted to make Gabe happy, but he was just a kid, his mom's opinion counted more.
"Good point." She said slowly as she nodded her head.
I fought the urge to cup her face in my hands and ran a hand through my hair instead, "Is that only thing that worries you?" I asked quietly while I felt our son's eyes bounce between me and his mom.
"Maybe maman is scared." He said wide eyed, his mouth forming a small o. He was the most adorable kid in the whole world.
"I'm not scared." She shot him an amused look before looking back at him, "Is there even a bed on his boat?"
At that I chuckled, guessing that I should have showed her my sailboat before suggesting this whole thing. "Of course there is."
She bit down on her lip, that not stopping the grin curving her mouth, "It looks like we're going to sleep on this boat after all." She said eventually.
"Yay!" Gabe broke into a shriek, jumping then remembering the rule and stopping. "Can I go see inside?"
"Be careful." I said as I nodded, both Cami and I watching him as he walked carefully to the cabin.
"Are you sure we can do this?" She broke the silence, making me turn my head toward her again to look at her.
I grinned and closed the distance between us, pressing a quick innocent kiss on her lips, "We can do anything baby."
"Not anything," Cami said seriously, watching me raise a curious eyebrow at her in return. "We won't be able to cuddle tonight since Gabe will be sleeping in between us," She added with a grin.
"At least you won't be cold," I set my hand on her hip and slid my palm flat down to her lower back, guiding her body into mine since I wouldn't be able to touch her for a neverending day and most of the night too.
Setting her hands on my chest, she made fists in my shirt. "This is true..." She trailed off with a sigh before smiling at me more genuinely. "I'll miss sleeping in your arms."
I grinned back at her and parted my lips before Gabe's voice broke the silence even if it was from a distance, "Maman!! Come look at this bed!! It's huge!!"
She lifted a brow at me and I shrugged. "It's only a king," I told her and pressed another chaste kiss on her lips before pulling back. "We better go find him before he destroys it."
"Wait," She slipped her hand into mine and pulled me back into her, tilting her head slightly to give me another kiss, this time not as innocent as the last few. "To last me for the rest of the night," She grinned between kisses, kissing me even harder.
I groaned quietly against her lips as I gave up and wrapped my arms around her tiny waist, pushing her as hard as possible against me since that was the effect she had on me. Even glued to each other wasn't enough for me, nothing was ever enough, I always wanted more of her. "How am I supposed to resist a whole day without touching you when you kiss me like this?" I asked quietly, smiling when she broke the kiss.
She let out a heavy sigh, nestling her head in the crook of my neck and breathing against my skin, "And don't forget the night too." She said in a small voice and even if I couldn't see her face, I knew she was pouting.
I lifted her head by setting two fingers under her chin, a pout on her lips like I was expecting. "We can hope our cutie will fall asleep at his usual time and we'll have a few hours for us." I sais quietly before kissing her one last time.
"Is it a promise?" She asked with a small smile, her body melting against mine and I swear, I never wanted to let her go, not even for one second.
I nodded my head, about to tell her how I'd promise the world if she asked me to, when our son's voice cut in once again. "Maman!!!" He yelled.
Cami sighed again as she pulled away regretfully, even though her smile was still in place. "Way to ruin the moment." She chuckled.
I nodded and chuckled with her as I finally pulled my hands away from her, jumping down the boat and winking at her. "I'll go get our bags, don't miss me too much already."
"Too late," Cami grinned and turned to follow Gabe's voice, swaying her hips and almost making me walk back to her to grab her and never let her go. But with Gabe around we had to ignore the strong attraction between us, our little boy being the only reason why we hadn't had sex yet.
I headed to the car, grabbing the bags quickly since I was impatient to go back to my cuties and finally start our little trip. As I jumped on the boat I went straight to the bedroom, where Gabe was standing on the bed and Cami looked as if she just caught him doing something. "No jumping on the bed," I said and dropped the bags, swooping Gabe up into my arms.
"That was fast," Cami grinned at us, biting her lip as she focused on me while Gabe smiled as big as possible.
"You must have been missing us and moved those legs extra fast!"
I grinned, still holding him in my arms since I knew that soon, too soon, I wouldn't be able to do it anymore. He was growing up so fast. "I always miss you and maman."
He nodded in approval as his eyes moved from me to Cami to outside, "Can we leave now?" He asked, impatience showing in his tone once again. "I want to drive."
"Sail Gabey, not drive." Cami corrected him as she smirked wide.
He frowned and looked as if that didn't make any sense to him, then just shrugged. "Can I?"
"We still have to do a few things." I explained quietly, "You can help me but you have to do everything I say."
"I'll be good." He said seriously.
"And be careful." Cami added, looking a little nervous to be honest, "And Ben, don't forget to make him wear a life vest."
I smiled at her as I walked over her, using my free hand to caress her back, "Won't you help us?"
She smiled back at me, her eyes and the way she was looking at me making me melt. "I want to take care of here first." She motioned to the bed, which still needed pillows and sheets.
"Okay baby." I said automatically, but feeling Gabe's eyes on me instantly. I swear this little guy noticed everything. "Kiss maman before we go get ready." I added to distract him.
He reached for her and pressed a nosy kiss on her cheek just as I pressed one too on her other, making her smile wide. "We'll miss you!"
"I miss my boys already," Cami winked at our little man then let her gaze move over to meet mine, her my smile widening instantly.
"You better!" Gabe said and raced out of the room, a small sigh escaping his mom's lips as she watched him leave.
"No running Gabriel!" She shouted after him then looked at me again and smiled.
I looked over my shoulder and then back at her, making sure Gabe wasn't within eyesight before walked back over to her and wrapping an arm around her waist to guide her body back into mine, because that was how bad I missed her. "What are you thinking about right now?"
"When we go back home," She answered honestly since both of us had been tiptoeing around the question or anything else too serious to deal with.
My body stiffened slightly and I moved my free hand up to tuck her stray hairs behind her ear, letting my fingertips caress her cheek next and then slide carefully down her neck. "We should stay here instead," I joked, although in all honesty, the idea didn't sound too bad.
"Sailing the world and raising a wild little pirate?" She grinned up at me, joking back since there was still a heavy feeling between us.
I shrugged my shoulders, "It doesn't sound too bad, does it?"
"It sounds perfect," She tilted her head up and stole a quick kiss. "You better go find Gabe before the boat starts moving. Or worse, sinking."
[those two melt my heart :') <3333]
