Kori set her palms on the counter on either side of her, crossing her legs and watching me and Coulter carry the last of the boxes inside our new loft. "Is that it?" She asked and smiled, Coult wiping the sweat off his eyebrow.
There were over 50 boxes in all and some of those weighed a tone, I wasn't even aware of having all those things in my apartment, but I had to say that since Kori had moved in with me there had been a lot of additions.
"Is that it?" He raised an eyebrow, "Do you not realize how many boxes we just brought up? How six of them alone were marked 'Kori's shoes'? Big boxes might I add."
She frowned, "I liked shoes."

I laughed and walked over to the fridge, grabbing a bottle of beer and holding it towards Coult who shook his head. "I have dinner plans with Gabs and should get going."

"Thanks for helping Coulter," She smiled at him, looking genuinely grateful to have a helping hand since she broke her ankle a week ago. Who wore heels on my bike? Kori, of course.

"Yes, thank you," I grinned at my cousin. "I couldn't have done much without you since this ones useless right now."

Her mouth fell open before a smirk played on her lips, her hands pulling me closer so she could wrap her arms around my neck and lean her chest against my back. Two years together and it felt like the first day to me, I was so in love and happy to share my life with my best friend. "I'm not useless and I proved that to you just this morning," She whispered, loud enough for Coult to hear.

"I didn't need to hear that..." He trailed off, shaking his head.

"We're all adults here," I replied, tilting my head to press a kiss against her forehead. She wrinkled her nose instantly and I kissed her lips instead, this time getting a smile from her.

"I only say it because I'm jealous..." Coult grinned at us, "Of Kori of course. She took you away from me."

"You'll always have a special place in my heart, don't worry." I grinned at my cousin who just smirked back at me while Kori made a show of rolling her eyes, even though she was just being silly. She was, more than anyone else, used to witness the bromance between us.

"I'll always have to share him." She sighed then smiled, pressing her chest harder against my back as her tiny arms wrapped tighter around me.

"That's what Gabs always says too." He shrugged, running a hand through his blonde hair. After two years now we were both with two amazing girls, we were all friends and worked all together, we were really lucky and I couldn't believe that everything was just so perfect. "I better go now before she starts calling me. She hates when I'm late."

I pulled away from my baby regrefully, stepping towards my cousin to walk him to the door, "She has a point anyway." I smirked as he sighed in response, opening the door, "You two could come over for dinner as soon as we'll be done unpacking."

"It'd probably take months." He teased me before glancing over my shoulder to wink at Kori who had just snorted, "I'm looking forwars to see how this place comes out. Have a nice night guys."

"You too. And thanks again." I added as I smiled genuinely at him before closing the door behind him and going back to Kori. "He's probably right you know." I said and set my hands on her thighs.

"We can try, but you'll have to instruct me where to put all your stuff since I doubt you'll be able to do...well, anything." I said honestly even if it wasn't completely true.
