I just can't get enough

I just can't get enough

I just can't get enough by sassy

TLC

I made my way through the people crowding the foyer of the theater, my eyes moving from a face to another as I looked for a familiar one. It had been a long exhausting show, but I had loved every second of it and now that everything was over, at least for a while, I could relax a little. Still, I felt a little nervous, because Mase had seen me too and while I was used to Brooke's and my family's reaction to my performance I had no idea if he had been bored to death or what.
I spotted his dark eyes just outside the glass doors and I couldn't help but smile, adjusting my bag on my shoulder as I walked over him. It took me a while to realize that my best friend and my siblings were there too. "Hey." I cut into their conversation, my voice a little breathy.
"Scar!" Brooke exlaimed, always a little over the top, mostly now that she was seeing this new guy. She pulled me into a hug and squeezed me, "You were amazing on that stage. Seriously."
My brother nodded in agreement, which was cute since for him the idea of dancing alone was something incredible. "I'm impressed, I couldn't believe that it was really you." Tim said, seeming genuinely surprised.
"Is this supposed to be a compliments?" I raised one eyebrow as I joked, breaking into a grin a second later.
"You know he's bad with words." My sister Drew winked at me, flipping her perfect hair back with one hand and making me feel like I needed a makeover.
I still had the makeup from the show, which was really too much, my hair were still pulled up in a tight bun and my outfit was a simple black dress and a pair of converse. Dancers sometimes wanted to be comfortable, and after dancing for hours I was happy that I wasn't wearing heels, even if it meant I was the shortest of the group. My eyes moved to Mason, who was oddly quiet, and I wondered if he had the chance to talk to my siblings. "What about you? Did you like the show?" I asked and bit my lip as I felt my cheeks getting warmer. I swear, I was so obvious around him.
He shot me one of his unfamous grins as he stared at me, "It wasn't bad." He said with a shrug, teasing me.
I rolled my eyes but smirked, noticing that he had no flowers for me and mentally kicking my butt for even checking. I parted my lips, but before I could talk a male voice called my name. As I turned around I saw Charlie waving at me, my body tensing since he was the last person I wanted to see right now. "We're going to get drunk, are you coming with us?" He asked, motioning to the group of dancers bwhing him and grinning at me in a way that I knew too well.
I glanced over my shoulder, my eyes meeting Mase's for a second and causing my stomach to clench. "No thanks, I have other plans." I answered quietly as I looked back at him. Truth was I had zero plans, but I was positive that I didn't want to go with him, I wanted to go with Mase instead. Even if he didn't even know.
"Uhm, I see." He gave me a significant look, "Have a nice night Scar."
I turned away without another word and walked back to my friends and family, feeling suddently anxious for some reason. "Were you talking behind my back already?" I asked with a silly grin, breaking into the conversation once again.
"No," Drew shook her head with a grin, nodding her head in the direction of our brother, "Me and this assclown over here were just making a little wager. He thinks the guys stuff their leotards while I think they're just naturally well endowed."
Brooke glanced up from her phone and grinned, "Please answer Scar, I'm dying to know."
"We don't all change together," I rolled my eyes but I was smirking.
"But Charlie..." Brooke trailed off and then her eyes flicked over to Mase as I wondered why in hell she was bringing him up in front of my brother. And Mase.
He kept his face blank, locking eyes with her until she looked back at me. I knew they were friends and close ones, so I guessed that the glance they just exchanged had a secret meaning I couldn't get. On one hand I wished I could know what he had on his mind, on the other I was afraid to know it already. We were just friends who got along and had sex, the threesome had proved that.
"Who's Charlie?" Tim asked.
Brooke parted her lips while I cut her off with one of my glares. "That guy who was just talking to me," I replied.
His eyebrows shot up like he hadn't noticed Charlie and maybe he didn't, his eyes kept drifting on just about every female dancers ass since most of them were still dressed in scantily clad costumes. He was married, a son on its way, and he still checked out girls. Men could never change, ever. "Oh," He replied, losing interest on the topic.
"You have plans already?" Mase cut in and asked her, lifting a brow.
I turned my head in his direction, surprised that he was finally talking. I was starting to worry that he had swallowed his tongue. Or that he couldn't wait to go away and this was torture to him. Suddenly, I regretted asking him in first place, mostly with my siblings there. What the hell was I thinking? "No, I don't." I paused as I shook my head, "You?"
"I have to go back home, Ashley needs me." My brother cut in and smirked.
I raised one eyebrow, tearing my eyes away from Mase regretfully, "I wasn't talking to you." I pointed out, not amused. At all.
He just shrugged, grin still in place as he ran his hands through his hair. "Will you say bye at least or you're too deep into the conversation?" He teased me but what was new? I was the little one of the family and that was the treatment I always got. I was lucky enough that he wasn't picking on Mason.
"I need a ride back home." Drew said out of nowhere when I glared at my brother, always the one stopping fights before they could even start. "Tim?"
"Sure." He nodded, his eyes still on me, "Scar, are you coming with us too?"
I shook my head, not caring at this point if I was being obvious, "I'm sure that Mase can give me a lift, since we're neighbors and all." I offered a smile and glanced at Mase, wishing he'd say yes or I'd look like an idiot.
His lips curved into a small grin that got my stomach twist, "No problem Scar."
My brother shot him a skeptical look that I ignored, glancing at my sister whose smirk was matching Brooke's. "I'm going with them too, Nick lives close to your sister." She said as she hugged me, winking before she pulled away.
We all did our greetings, Mase looking awkward the whole time, until we were finally alone. I moved my eyes on him, biting my lip to conceal my grin, "So?" I asked, setting my hands on my hips as I stared at him. I wanted to know what he thought, if he was really taking me home or if we'd go somewhere, his opinion on the show...anything he wanted to tell me.
"So what?" He retorted, smirking back at me.
"I don't know, you tell me." I said as I wrinkled my nose and made a silly face which matched my mood.
Mase reached for my hand and tangled our fingers together before bringing them up to his mouth and pressing a kiss against the back of my hand, my cheeks getting warmer and sure I know why. "You were amazing," He said seriously.
"You said I wasn't bad instead," I smiled slowly, trying not to show the effect his words had on me. I could keep denying it forever, but I cared about Mase and what he thought, even if he wasn't a dance expert his opinion on the night still mattered to me, I'd hate if he had been bored the whole time.
He shrugged, leading me through the lobby of the theater where dancers were still mingling and sipping champagne. "It was an understatement," He grinned at me, opening the door and holding it open for me to walk through first. "You looked gorgeous up there. And graceful."
"Graceful?" I raised a brow as he sided up to me again, letting go of my hand to pull his keys from his pocket and unlock his car.
He smirked and shrugged again, "Give me a break here, I know nothing about dancing and I'm trying to compliment you."
"Well thank you," I stopped in front of the passenger side while he cupped my chin and tilted his head down to kiss me chastely, his lips doing things to me. Whenever they touch me I stopped breathing, my heart hammered in my chest and he became the only thing I could focus on.
He broke the kiss and pulled back with a grin, "You're welcome." He opened the door for me again and watched me climb in before walking around to the drivers seat, getting in and starting the car. Before pulling away from the curb, he reached into the backseat and grabbed a bouquet of flowers. They were pink and white, and they were peonies, my favorite. "These are for you."
I took the flowers from his hands, my eyes wide and my lips slightly parted since I was beyond surprised. It wasn't just that though, I was impressed and touched that he had picked my favourite, I was happy because no one had done something like that for me, and to top all of that the look on his face was making me feel butterflies in my stomach. I was this close to cry tears of joy. "Oh Mase." I whispered eventually, dipping my nose into the bouquet and inhaling deeply, my eyes not moving from his, "These are beautiful."
His lips curved into a small smile, his expression an unreadable one, "Do you like them?" He asked and I found myself promise that for tonight, just tonight, I wouldn't think about all the odds that would never make of us a couple.
"I love them! Thank you." I beamed at him and reached for his cheek with my free hand, cupping it as I leaned into him to kiss his soft lips. He was leaving me breathless, and high on happiness.
He pulled his head back regretfully and pulled away from the curb, his eyes tearing away from me but that didn't stop me from staring at him still. "You're welcome." He said simply and smirked a little, making me wonder where his thoughts were right now.
I adjusted my body against the seat and held my bouquet close to my chest, "I'm going to cuddle these gorgeous flowers all night." I smirked, the tone of my voice silly and probably giving me away too. I was happy, I couldn't hide it.
He broke into a laugh, shaking his head and glancing at me quickly. "All night? And I'll get nothing instead?" He asked, his mood seeming to match mine.
"Uh, so this is your plan for the night?" I raised one eyebrow and bit my lip. Again. "You got me flowers to get cuddles back?"
"Maybe." He answered as his grin didn't fade but only got wider, making him look absolutely irresistible.
"What a sneaky boy." I parted my lips, them forming a small o as I faked surprise, doubting that his plans could be so innocent. But whatever he was going to do with me or to me, I knew it'd be perfect and I'd love it. "Where are you taking me handsome?"
Mase lifted a brow, "Didn't you tell your brother that I was taking you home?"
I noticed him watched me from the corner of his eye, turning his head to look at me when we stopped at the light. How he was still willing to sleep with me when he could have any other girl was beyond me. "It was only an excuse to get you back to my place," I said coyly and then shot him a wink.
He smirked and shook his head, "I feel used."
"You'd be lucky if I used you..." I trailed off, shifting my body in my seat to face him.
His eyes scanned my thighs as he started driving again, looking so hot I considered to go down on him right there. "Yeah?" He grinned wider.
I nodded my head, "You wouldn't be complaining, that's for sure."
He dropped a hand onto my upper thigh and used his thumb to rub circles against my silky skin, sending electricity through my body with every touch. "True," He agreed, turning left onto a side street that I had no idea where could lead, but I trusted him. "I thought we could go back to my place and you can relax while I make dinner."
I bit down on my lip as I stared at him, trying to hide my smirk once again, "Really?" I asked, the tone of my voice a little too high pitched. God I needed to get a grip and stop sounding like an excited high schooler.
He kept his eyes on the street, his face showing nothing instead. He was as handsome as mysterious to me. "Yes really. You ask that a little too much."
"What?" I asked back, furrowing my brows as we stopped at the red lights.
He turned his head in my direction, "Really?" He echoed me, widening his eyes and making a good impersonation of myself before breaking into a grin.
I rolled my eyes, amused and wondering if I really did it that much...I did. But I wasn't used to guys making me dinner, or giving me flowers, or cuddling me in the middle of the night, that was why I always had a hard time believing to my own ears or eyes. "Point made Mr. Kohler." I smirked at him, then my face turned straight as I stared at his hand on my thigh, "I wasn't expecting it, that's all. But it sounds perfect to me." I said with a shrug, as if it was no big deal and it probably wasn't, but still. I was thinking too much again. He stopped the car in front of our apartment complex and when he didn't say nothing, unbuckling his belt, I leaned into him to kiss his lips softly and added a smile, "Thank you Mase."
"No need to thank me," Mase smiled and pushed my hair behind my ear, staring into my eyes and giving me the illusion I was looking for by acting as if we were a couple. Correction, we were a couple. A couple of friends, a couple of neighbors, but not just a couple.
My entire face lit up and his smile turned into a grin, not the creepy kind and not the cocky one either, but the one that told me I was doing something right. "I do instead," I said quietly and kissed him again, chastely but still enjoying how soft his lips were against mine. I pulled back with a smirk making its way onto my face, "Are we going in or do you want to sit out here all night?"
"After you," He grinned and opened his door and climbed out. He walked around the car, over to my side and waited for me to grab my bag from the floor and slip it onto my arm.
"What will you make me?" I asked with wide eyes as I hooked my arms with his.
"You'll have to wait and see," He winked, leading the way inside and to the elevator.
I watched the doors close before turning my head back to him, allowing myself to grin wide once again. As everything good in life, even this perfect night would end so I intended to enjoy every second of it and follow my stupid heart while shutting my brain off. Only god knew how many days I'd have to think about Mase when he wouldn't be with me. "Will you wait too?" I asked, leaning a little more against his side, always liking how his strong body felt against mine.
"For what?" He asked and furrowed his dark brows, but it was just an act because a second later he was grinning with me, "What do you have in mind?"
I shrugged nonchalantly, "I need to stop at my apartment a moment to get changed." I explained and left out all the rest. The attraction between us was undeniable and I knew that if we started to give in we'd end up with a sex marathon. Not that I'd ever complain, but tonight I wanted a little more, even if it was just a few hours, even if I knew he wasn't my boyfriend and he couldn't be, just for tonight I wanted to pretend there was more.
"Uh I should have guessed when you pressed the bottom." He smirked at me as he led me out the elevator and straight to my apartment.
"It's not your fault, I was probably distracting you." I winked at him and opened the door, pulling away from him reluctantly to walk to my kitchen. I heard his footsteps following me as I reached for the only vase I owned, filled it with water and adjusted the flowers in it. They were really beautiful. I found myself smiling as I admired them, a mix of feelings stirring in my chest and for a moment I forgot that this all was real. When I turned around, Mase's eyes were on me, his face as unreadable as always and silence surrounding us. "I think they'll look perfect in my room." I said eventually and bit down on my lip, hoping he wasn't thinking I was acting like an idiot.
"If you say so cutie." He said as he watched me closely as I moved around my apartment, his hands in the pocket of his jeans and his face so handsome he could have been popped out of a fashion magazine. The peonies could be beautiful, but he was really gorgeous.
"I just did." I wrinkled my nose before setting the vase on my bedside table, where I could watch them later. I threw my bag on my bed, knowing I needed nothing when I was at mr kohlers place. "We can go now."
He let out a low laugh that got my stomach twist in delight. "Didn't you want to get changed?"
I frowned at my dress, acting silly. "What's wrong with my dress?"
"Nothing." He said in a barely audible voice, his lips curved into a smirk and his eyes travelling up my bare legs.
"I thought so." I said coyly then almost threw myself at him to kiss his lips, quick enough for me not to beg him for more already. "Are we going? I'm dying to see chef Mason in action." I smirked before pulling away, my hand still on his chest as I started for the door.
He reached for my hand to tangle my fingers with his, pulling me back into him. "Did I already mention how gorgeous you look tonight?" He asked, his eyes leaving mine to look at my lips and then the black dress my body was wrapped up in. I couldn't read his mind but right now? I was sure that he'd rather see my dress on the floor.
I nodded my head slowly and my smile returned, a genuine one because yes, "You did... do you plan on looking at me all night or are you going to go make me dinner?"
He laughed and shook his head. "Let's go woman," He walked beside me, out of her apartment and down the hall. My body leaned into him automatically as we made our way into the elevator. It was a short ride, but long enough for him to press kisses up and down my neck as a sneak peek for later. "So what do you feel like? I make mac and cheese perfectly." He said as we stopped on his floor and walked out of the elevator.
I wrinkled my nose as I looked at him from the corner of my eye, "I hope you're joking."
"I never joke when it comes to dinner."
I cracked a grin and shook my head, "Should I call the Chinese place across the street and order something instead?"
"I'm joking," He unlocked the door and stepped behind me as I walked into his place first, lowering his head to kiss my neck again. Good god I didn't know if I'd be able to resist until the end of the night.
A low moan escaped my parted lips, "If you keep doing that, we'll never eat!"
He smirked and pulled away, slapping my ass first, "You like puttanesca, right?"
"That'd be pasta...?" I said in a tone which sounded weird since I wasn't sure about it. I was no chef but surely I could cook, only I rarely made complicated meals since I was the only guest at my own table. It would be pointless and the main reason why I always ended up eating a salad or inviting myself over at Brooke.
He raised one eyebrow at me as he set his hands on his hips, "Was that a question or a statement?"
I broke into a silly chuckle since I was a little embarrassed there. "I'm not sure." I admitted, "I don't think I ever had it."
"Should I make something else?" He asked quietly heading to the kitchen and silently telling me to follow him. Not that he needed though.
"No, I like trying new things." I shook my head and smiled as I hopped on a stool next to his kitchen island, my eyes dropping on his a.ss when he turned around to open the cabinet and grab a few pans. He had the body of a god. "Plus, I'm sure there's no pasta I could possibly not like."
He tossed his head over his shoulder to smirk at me, it only getting bigger when he watched me set my forearms on the wooden surface abefore resting my head on it. "Are you tired cutie?" He asked before hiding his handsome face from me again in favor to fill the pot with water.
"A little." I confessed, even though it wasn't exactly that I was tired for the show. It had been a few weird months, weird not even being the right word, more like...different. And I started feeling different too, which worried me and made me really tired since I put so much thinking into that. "But I can still help if you want."
A small laugh left him and I pouted because I couldn't see it, "You didn't even know what it was, I don't know if I can trust you."
"Oh well Mr Kohler, I still have hands to do something else." I protested as I let a smirk play on my lips when I lifted my head up. When he turned his head again and raised one eyebrow with a tempting super sexy smirk that would send any girl straight to hell for the thoughts it caused, I bit down hard on my lip. "And no, I'm not offering a handjob if it's what you're thinking." I added in a playful tone. Not that he'd ever turn down one, but we'd have sexy time later, now it was time for more.
This time, he faked a pout, "If you're not offering me a handjob, there's no use for you in my kitchen."
"Mason!" My mouth fell open, forming an O that made him instantly. I was trying to get used to the reactions he had from my moves, things were starting to feel really familiar between us.
He walked over to where I was and lowered his head to press his lips against mine, making the butterlies in my stomach go crazy for that simple innocent kiss. "I'm joking. Just relax and keep me company, it's all I need," He grinned at me, cupping my cheek and pressing one last kiss before his hand slipped onto the counter and he turned back around to work on our dinner, adding noodles to the boiling water.
"You're being cute tonight..." I trailed off from behind him, grateful that he couldn't see me and the color on my cheeks. I would have never said he could be this cute, but he was, and that surprised me while at the same time I could feel the heartbreak it'd come when he'd stop and go back to his usual self.
"Aren't I always?" He asked as a joke, always using other words to describe himself which was far from flattering. He was too hard on himself, he wasn't as bad as he thought. I loved the way he was, I was starting to love everything of him or just him.
I bit down hard on my lip, watching him as he poured the sauce into a pan to heat it. "Hardly." I teased him, since with me? He was cute a lot lately and I couldn't complain.
"Uh I wonder how you'd describe me." He said quietly, looking and sounding too lost into his cooking or maybe into his thoughts. I really had no idea, I was so bad at reading him that I didn't even try.
"Are you fishing for compliments Mase?" I grinned as I got up, needing to keep myself busy in order to force myself not to overthink. I walked over him, getting his attention when my body brushed against his on purpose as I opened the cupboard where I knew plates where. "I don't want your head to explode, it'd ruin our pasta."
He kept his eyes on me and laughed before shaking his head, stirring the sauce. "At least I'd have an excuse if it was bad."
I took a deep breath and smiled, "It smells delicious, nothing to worry about." I leaned further into him to press a light kiss on the corner of his mouth before reaching for plates, forks and glasses and setting everything on the brown surface of the kitchen island.
"Way to make me feel pressured." He turned is body in my direction, resting his ass on the kitchen counter as he watched me closely. Silence fell in the room and I felt nervous, he was usually chatty and I was too, while tonight it was as if we were a little in a loss of words. Was that a sign that we didn't have anything to say anymore? I had plenty to say, only I was wise enough not to. When I raised my eyebrow, shooting him a questioning look, he flashed me his killer smirk. "Do you want something to drink?"
"Yes." I nodded my head, gravitating closer to him once again, "And a kiss too please."
"Just one?" Mase set the wooden spoon down, wiping hus hands off on the towel and reaching for my waist. He was so strong, whenever his my hands clasped around my sides and pulled me into him, like now, I felt like nothing could touch me, nothing really mattered.
I just nodded, too busy taking in his perfect face. "Yes," I repeated myself and smiled up at him through my thick lashes.
He lowered his head but right before our lips met, he pulled back to grin, "One might not be enough..."
"Shut up and kiss me already," I wrapped my arms around his neck and pressed my lips into his, kissing hin slowly and chastely, the kind of kiss that I never wanted to end. Unless I'd get to kiss more.
"Definitely not enough," He said against my lips and kissed me a second time, but longer and harder, making me moan into his mouth.
I broke the kiss regretfully and slid my hands down to his hard chest, "When will dinner be ready?"
"I don't think we have enough time for a quickie," He joked as I smiled back at him. "If you want to set the table, I'll be finished with the pasta in a second."
I pulled away from him, feeling myself grin like an idiot. "I don't know if I'm fast enough to set the table in a second." I joked but reached for the glasses and all the rest, winking at him when he grinned back at me. When he was like that? He was so much more than just cute...he was lovable, literally.
"Are you still hungry?" He asked from behind me as I set the table carefully, thinking about how easy and natural that felt. That was a dangerous thought, because I could get used to that kind of things.
"I'm starving." I said honestly, my eyes taking in the table to make sure there was everything before I turned around to find him peeking at me while stirring the pasta. "I hope you cooked enough."
He raised one eyebrow at me, giving me an amused look, "You're always so insatiable."
"Oh you know that." I let out a silly laugh and walked over the fridge, my eyes leaving his handsome face in favor to pick a drink. "Beer?" I suggested.
"Sure." He nodded, too focused on filling our plates to look at me. But sure I wasn't busy enough, and I opened the cold bottle, taking a sip as I watched him closely. It was like porn. "I have glasses, you know." He grinned at me.
"Ops." I licked my top lip as I stared at him before catching the tip of my tongue between my teeth and teasing him deliberately. His eyes dropped on my mouth and I was sure he even let out a small groan, then walked over the table, plates in hands, and waited for me to take a seat before serving me my pasta. I inhaled deeply, shifting on my chair because I feel excited like a kid on Christmas, "It smells delicious."
"I did my best." He smirked at me and leaned his back against his chair, watching me as he waited for me to taste it. Or so I though.
I brought a forkful to my mouth, savouring all the ingredients and dying a little because this man apparently cooked like he f.ucked: perfectly. "You're in trouble Mase." I said after I swallowed, already ready to take another forkful when he shot me a puzzled look and I smirked, "If you always cook like this? I'll invite myself over a lot more."
He laughed and shook his head, "This hardly ever happens. Consider yourself lucky," He added with a wink, leaving me process his words. I felt lucky...even special.
"What's the special occasion?" I asked after swallowing, leaning into the table and grinning and acting as if that meant nothing to me, when it did instead.
His eyes flicked down to my breasts, noticing that I wasn't wearing a bra underneath my dress for sure. I'd lie if I said I hadn't thought of him when I had decided to go braless.
"Your show," He replied and smiled. "I know how much you've been stressing over the show... I thought it'd be nice to make you dinner for once," He shrugged nonchalantly, his smile still on his handsome face though.
"What a gentleman," I smiled back at him while using my fork to play with the noodles on my plate. It surpised me that he had actually noticed how my mood hadn't been as relaxed as usual lately. "Thank you Mase."
"You're welcome," He grinned, dropping his eyes down to my lips. "I didn't make anything for dessert though."
"I can take care of that," I shot him one of my coy looks.
"I thought you might," He bit into the pasta. Swallowing it with silence filling the room, he grinned at me again, "What are you going to make me for dinner tomorrow?"
"I don't remember inviting you over." I smirked back at him, taking a sip of beer and never moving my eyes from him. I swear I couldn't even if I tried. He was that handsome, hot and charming, all in one amazing package.
He furrowed his brows, "Is it a no?"
"Do you have a show tomorrow that I'm not aware of?" I asked as I kept joking with him, the thought of seeing him again and spending the night together more than appealing to me. Sure I had had him over before, plenty of times, but it had always been randomly, mostly late and night, nothing ever planned.
He swallowed another bite of pasta then shook his head, grinning, "No." He paused, studying my expression and focusing on the fake pout on my face, "And don't give me that disappointed look."
At that I almost giggled like a silly girl, taking my last bite of pasta and feeling full and content like I hadn't been in a long time. "That's too bad, you'd look good in a tutu."
He raised one eyebrow at me, not looking amused but there was still a hint of a smirk on his lips. "Don't even start."
"Fine." I sighed and raised one hands in mock surrended, trying to hide how ridiculously happy I was, "I'll think about what I'll make you for dinner tomorrow. But don't expect me to get you flowers."
His smirk turned into a smile as he nodded his head, "Sounds good to me, but under one condition."
"If I'm cooking, it should be me making the rules," I scooted my chair back and made my way over to where he was sitting, plopping my petite body down on his lap and letting him wrap an arm around my waist. "But I'm curious to hear your condition."
"You'll stay the night at my place," He replied, his request surprising me. Okay maybe surprise wasn't the right word since he made no mystery of being attracted to me, but since that night with the busty blonde I felt as if something was off even though I couldn't put a finger on what. The result was that i hadn't seen him that much lately and, no matter how hard I tried to deny it, I had missed him.
I pursed my lips and then lifted a brow at him, "Tonight or tomorrow?"
"If it's my choice? Both," He grinned, squeezing my hip.
"If you're lucky you mean," I gave him a devious look that had him grinning wider at me, the man behind that sexy grin making my heart skip a beat.
He tilted his head to nip at my neck, "I usually am. You'd know that if you spent more time with me."
I tangled my fingers with his hair, keeping his head in place and grateful that he couldn't see my face since I had no idea of what my expression could be. I processed his words, not wanting to read too much into them but god he was being cute. "I already know you're lucky." I said softly, playing with his hair and enjoying being in his arms.
He tilted his head back just so slightly to look up at me with an eyebrow raised, his hand clutching my waist to keep me in place as the other dropped on my thigh. "Is it a no?" He asked in a teasing tone but his face? God it was impossible to read.
"You're a busy man, are you sure to have time for me too?" I asked back as I smiled down at him to let him know I was in his same mood, whatever it was. I didn't want to say or do the wrong thing, that was why I always says yes to him. Also, it was always worthy too.
He hid his face from me again, this time his lips trailed down my chest before moving to a side and kissing the top of my breast. As if it wasn't hard enough to carry this conversation. "Not as busy as you think." He retorted in a low voice that got me shiver.
I found myself holding my breath, my head almost spinning because my heart was beating too fast and I wasn't breathing enough, his effect on me getting more and more obvious as seconds passed. "Maybe I'm overrating you." I joked and he pulled his head back regretfully, staring at me with a blank look into his gorgeous dark eyes. I bit down on my lip and moved my hand on his cheek, loving to feel his scruff under my palm, "I love spending time with you." I admitted eventually, it taking me a lot since I rarely said what I really felt.
"I know," Mase grinned, making light of the heavy moment and grabbing my hand before biting my palm gently to get a smile out of me.
I sighed and shook my head, my smile not leaving my face or even faltering, "You're so cocky. Remind me why I hang out with you again?"
"I've been wondering the same thing," He joked back and shifted my body on his, standing up when he had a good grasp on me and my legs wrapped around his body.
"Have you come up with a conclusion yet?" I lifted an eyebrow as my smile turned into a wide grin, my whole face lighting up.
He laughed, "I think it's because you have a crush on me."
My lips parted but I didn't say anything, keeping my gaze on his while he flicked the kitchens lights off. I had already admitted that I liked spending time with him, it wasn't necessary to admit more. "Where are you taking me, Mr. Kohler?" I asked instead and pressed my chest against his.
"To my bed," He replied honestly, not surprising me even a bit.
"I'm not tired," I said with a pout.
He shook his head and kicked his bedroom door open with a foot, "I never said anything about going to sleep."
