you're on a different road, I'm in the milky way, you want me down on earth, but I am up in space

I scanned the people at the bar, the crowd getting thinner and thinner as the closing hour got closer and so did the end of my shift. I sighed as I washed a pile of glasses and blinked when a tall brunette entered the bar, but it took me less than three seconds to realize that he wasn't who I thought he was. Again. During one of our conversation, which had became basically a daily routine after our encounter by the pool, he had said he'd stop at the bar sometimes and so I always found myself waiting for him to show up, almost wishing. Funny how less than ten days before I couldn't even stand the guy and now we got along, like two neighbors who were becoming friends. Friends and nothing else, because if you spend more than one night with Mr Mason Kohler and he didn't make any move on you then you had to be either seriously ugly or just hopeless...not that I minded that, his company was a nice distraction for all the nights when I found myself bored and alone.
I shook my head as if pushing all my thoughts out of my mind, focusing on the bottles of liquor that still needed to be lined up behind the counter instead.
"Can I have a whiskey please?" A voice broke into my daze and I turned around, glass in hand.
I bit my lip when my eyes met Mason's, his mouth curved into a grin and a generally amused expression plastered on his handsome face. "On the rocks?"
He shrugged, sliding onto a stool and winking at me, "Up to the bartender."
I poured two fingers of the brown liquor into the glass, leaving it straight, and handed it to him. "You came." I said and smiled genuinely, glad to see him even if I wouldn't ever admit it.
"I was in the area." He flashed me one of his charming smirks before bringing the glass to his lips to take a gulp.
"Good, I needed a ride back home." I smirked back at me as I did my best to act casual when really, between Brooke being busy with her date and no guys in sight after Charlie's disappearance, I was more excited to spend that bunch of minutes from the bar to home with me than I had been when I had got my monthly paycheck. Money couldn't buy you company and that amount couldn't buy much else anyway.
He let out a small laugh and shook his head, eyeing me through his dark eyelashes, "I just sat here and you're already trying to take advantage of me?"
I raised one eyebrow, giving him an amused look as I poured myself a shot of vodka, "I don't know who's taking advantage of who, you're not going to pay that drink, are you?"

Mason shook his head and grinned, "I was planning on tipping generously."
"You can take care of that by bringing me home," I said in a slow and low tone, looking at him as I straightened my position to toss my shot back.
"You want me to bring you home Scar?" He leaned into the bar and let his eyes caress my body, something he had done the first times he had seen me and now I didn't understand why he was checking me out. I mean, yes, I understood, it was late night and he was alone, maybe he needed some inspiration for when he'd be in bed alone. But besides that? It was pointless, but I was getting used to him.
"You wouldn't want me walking home alone, would you?" I flashed him an innocent look, the thought actually worrying me since LA wasn't exactly the safest city on earth.
"Of course not," He shook his head, and ran his fingers up and down his glass. "That wouldn't be very gentlemanly of me at all."
"Oh right, because you're known for being such a gentleman." I teased him, folding my arms over my chest as I looked at him.
"I never treated you bad, did I?" He asked with an eyebrow raised, the tone of his voice letting me know that he knew the answer already.
I processed his words, thinking about the moments I had spent with him and he was right. Except for when he had been an asshole for not wanting to take my picture away from his site when I had asked him. But he had removed it eventually and I had no intention to bring up the bad way we had met. "You even let me sleep on your couch, I'm a lucky girl." I said eventually and smirked.
"You were cute in your onesie." He grinned, making me feel slightly embarrassed with the way I had shown to his place but then again I wasn't trying to impress him, I didn't want to, so I was just being myself.
I leaned into him from across the counter, my eyes scanning his face then stopped on his scar. Was it weird that I found that only flaw in his gorgeous features extremely sexy? I lifted my hand tentatively, noticing his gaze falling on my fingers before they traced the mark gently. "Sorry I had been wanting to do this for a while." I said in a low tone as I made eye contact with him again, my lips curving into a small smile.
His eyes left mine to take in my smile, one appearing on his own lips. "It's fine," Mason responded, looking oddly comfortable with my touch. My guess was that whatever the reason of his scar was, he wasn't exactly willing to share the real story but only offered fake ones.
I propped both elbows on the counter and curled my fingers into fists before setting my chin against them. "Sticking with the same story? Your sisters cat attacking you?" I asked and lifted a brow, still smiling in a non judgmental way but only pushing my luck instead. What did they say? Curiosity killed the cat.
"No," He took a drink of his whiskey until it was gone, setting the glass back down and nodding his head. "It's from a champagne bottle. And before you ask, no, it wasn't anything good. It was the cheap shit," He added with a grin, making light of the situation.
My expression turned blank as my lips parted while I imagined how painful that must have been. "So what was up with the story of a kitten attacking you?"
"I'm more surprised you believed it," He retorted and smirked.
I shrugged, "I try giving people the benefit of the doubt, but I didn't believe you... maybe I was just too nice to call you out on it. It was our first date after all."
He grinned even wider, "You're admitting it was a date?"
"No it wasn't." I cut him off and my smirk got as wide as his, I couldn't help it. "Who did it to you?"
"What's this, the inquisition?" He raised one eyebrow at me.
I pursed my lips together as I gave him an innocent look, trying to prevent his reaction in case he'd get annoyed. Maybe I was pushing it too far. "Sorry, I was curious. Like always." I sighed and set my hand on his wrist to turn it slightly, my eyes dropping down on his watch before looking back at him with a smile on my face, "My shift's over." I announced, changing the subject since I knew that I didn't know him enough to have the right to ask such private things.
He got up from the stool and smiled back, "God, time flies when I'm with you." He joked as he watched me.
I rolled my eyes but smirked, "I need to grab my things." I ignored his words as I walked into the backroom, reaching for my leather jacket and checking my reflection in the mirror for a brief second. It was just Mason, right? Who cared if I didn't look as good as I wished I did. I flipped my hair back with one hand as if pushing my thoughts away too, stepping back into the bar and walking over him, "Ready."
He escorted me out in silence, his hand dropping on the small of my back as I wondered how many times he had done that with only god knew how many girls. Once we stepped outside he broke the small contact between us and slid his hands into the pocket of his jeans, "It was my ex." He said eventually, surprising me.
I blinked, taking me a few seconds to realize what we were talking about. Then it downed on me. I frowned at him, slipping my hand between his elbow and his chest as I wrapped my fingers around his leather covered arm, "What a psycho bitch." I said automatically, because no matter if he had done something wrong, for no reason you were allowed to smash bottles on people's faces. "Thank god it didn't ruin your pretty face." I added and offered a silly grin, wanting to make the moment light.
Mason let out a laugh and shook his head, "Valid point."
"As usual," I gave him a small nod as we walked down the street, maybe only a block or two from the complex. Despite being spring the air was still brisk, but I didn't mind it as long as it didn't rain. I knew I was going to miss this weather and the chilly when the whole city would turn into a summer furnace from hell.
"So you think I have a pretty face?" He lifted a brow and grinned down at me, making me blush as I rolled my eyes again.
I was trying to act cool, but it made it hard since he was so damn confident and well...so good looking. "Always fishing for compliments Mr. Kohler," I bit into my lip, trying to stop the grin which was struggling to appear on my face.
"When they come from a gorgeous woman? Always," He admitted, eying me for a reaction.
I tilted my head up to his as we kept walking slowly, neither of us in a hurry to part ways again. "What was she like?" I asked and he kept staring at me, waiting for more since I hadn't been too specific. I didn't think I needed to. "Besides the whole crazy bitch thing."
He grinned at my description and shrugged his shoulders, "I'll only share if you tell me about your ballerina guy." I rolled my eyes again and looked away, not really willing to talk about Charlie, mostly with him. Whatever we had had it was now dead and gone, no need to bring him up again. "Deal?" He urged.
"Fine," I said quietly, mostly because I really wanted to know about his ex. Fuck me and my curiosity.
"She was one of those smart girls who pretended to be dumb," He started, not in the best way in my opinion. If you're smart why would you want to pretend otherwise? Maybe she was really dumb. "She was feisty as hell and completely stubborn, had trust issues and always thought I was lying or cheating on her."
"Is that why she cheated?" I asked even though it made no sense to me. It sounded like an excuse to me, a lame one too.
He shrugged again. "Maybe. I don't know," He said seriously.
I let my gaze get lost into the night, keeping quiet while I processed his story. I was trying not to be judgmental but hey I could think all I wanted in my head as long as it stayed there. "I understand." I said softly and nodded my head slowly, still lost in my thoughts.
He squeezed my hand between his arm and his ribs, his head turned in my direction as he looked at me, "Hey. What are you thinking?" He asked, looking as if he was trying to get some kind of explanation from the expression on my face.
I glanced at him and offered a smile, grasping his arm tighter, "I can't tell, or I'd be too judgmental."
"I thought we were over that." He raised one eyebrow, the smallest sign of annoyance into his dark eyes making me know that I was right to keep my thoughts where they belonged.
"That's why I'm not saying anything." I shrugged and stared back in front of me, breaking the eye contact, "But for what it counts I'm sorry that she did that too you." I said honestly, leaving out the part where I was sorry for him turning into the kind of guy who slept his way through the whole city because of a bitch who couldn't keep her legs closed and blamed it on him.
He didn't comment my words, instead he picked a slightly faster pace, leaving me wonder if I had said the wrong thing once again and he couldn't wait to get rid of me. The thing about him was that I never knew what to expect, I was being myself, true, but I always had to hold back in some way. "Your turn." He announced and broke the silence, his smirk back on his lips and making me sigh.
"There's not much to say." I muttered as I shrugged my shoulders, wondering why he even wanted to know. It wasn't that interesting and it was going to make me look like a fool.
"I'm listening anyway."
I took a deep breath, ready to spill the beans. "He was, well, is, my teacher. He teaches hip hop and I guess that there was something about the way he was able to move his hips that attracted me to him." I explained, trying to make the story sillier and more fun than it was. Did I want Mason to know that I had been lusting over him for nearly a year only to end up like any other girl? No.
"So no tutu for him?" He asked, playing along with me.
"No silly." I smirked and shook my head, "We had fun for a while but then he got tired of me I guess. Which is okay because all he could offer was sex and I want more now." I waved my free hand in the air, as if dismissing the subject since I wasn't going to add more.
"Ah. The one who got away," Mason nodded his head as I kept my gaze blank. The sides of his mouth quirked into a grin as he tried getting a raise out of me but got nothing in return.
"It wasn't like that," I said finally, shaking my head again. "You make it sound like some epic romance when it was more like..."
"Wild animal sex?" He said when I let my words trail on. "I've always wondered how ballerinas were... Assumed they were into boring vanilla shit. But a guy ballerina?" He let out a low whistle and I laughed this time. Who would have said that he could be so silly? Not me.
"Hip hop!!" I clarified, my smile back in place and showing my amusement. "He teaches hip hop... not ballet."
"But I'm sure he's a trained ballerina," He pressed on and I nudged my bony elbow into his. "Am I wrong?" I nodded my head slowly, "Fine. I'm sure he's taken a course or two on the subject."
"You sound jealous Mr. Kohler," I cocked a brow and grinned up at him.
"Did he see you in your onesie pajamas?" He retorted and when I shook my head, he practically boasted. "Then no, I'm not jealous. Poor guy will never know what he's missing out on."
I laughed then wrinkled my nose as I looked at him, "You kill me with that."
He smirked, nudging me with his shoulder and making me sway a little, "Why? I'm serious, I liked it."
I rolled my eyes, biting down on my lip because I felt like the biggest idiot for how much I felt like grinning, "It makes me look like I'm 16."
He shrugged as he broke the eye contact to stare in front of him, but his smirk didn't fade, "You keep arguing when a thank you would have been nicer."
I chuckled and turned my head to him, studying his face as I found myself wanting to trace his strong jaw line and his high cheekbones. "Thank you Mase." I said quietly, waiting for him to look at me.
His eyes went back to mine as he gave me an amused look. I swear whenever I was around him I felt like I was a puppy and my sexy side was totally shut down, not that I minded that, it was new and refreshing because I had never been friends with a guy like this before. "You're welcome Scar." He said back.
We walked a little longer in silence, not the awkward type, just peaceful instead. There was something about him...I didn't know what was that, but it intrigued me, maybe it was the fact that Brook had told me that he was the opposite from how I thought him to be and since I was a very curious person I wanted to find out. "What did you do tonight?" I asked eventually, breaking the silence and offering a smile.
"The nights not over yet," Mason widened both eyes at me and I laughed softly again, averting my eyes from his as he kept staring at me.
"So what are your plans for the rest of the night?" I asked and ran my tongue over my top lip before biting the bottom, guessing that he had to answer to this question since I was part of it...or at least I hope so.
"The usual? Pajamas and a movie, all the popcorn and candy we can eat?"
"Do we have a usual already?" I grinned and raised a brow. "Makes us sound like a couple."
"You wish," He grinned and I rolled my eyes again but kept grinning, stopping and letting him open the door to our building for me. I brushed past him and walked through the lobby, swaying my hips a little since I knew that he was staring my ass. "If you're lucky, I might even let you stay over and cuddle me."
"Who said we're staying at your place?" I asked with a smirk as I waited for him in front of the elevator, giving him a quick glance over since he really looked hot tonight. Well, always actually.
"I think I just did." He shot me a smug grin as we walked through the sliding doors.
"Okay." I shrugged and kept a straight face, pushing the button of my floor quickly before letting go the smirk I was trying to hide.
It took him a few seconds to realize what I had done, but he didn't seem fazed. Or maybe he didn't want to give me that satisfaction. "Do you need something from your apartment cutie?" He asked instead, not missing a beat. Damn him.
I sighed and gave up, nodding my head, "Just my onesie."
His smirk widened, "My fave."
I grinned back at him as the elevator came to a stop, keeping my eyes on him as I walked out, "See, you're the lucky one."
"Do you need help getting into it?" Mason asked with a serious face, shoving both hands back into his pockets.
I raised an eyebrow but was still grinning, "I think I could dress myself, but thank you for the offer..."
"Just thought I'd press my so called luck," He grinned again and stopped in front of my door, watching me fish in my purse for my set of keys. I had lipsticks, lip glosses, my wallet, my phone, tampons, candies, water...anything I could need during my long night at work, I liked being always prepared.
"I'll manage," I flashed him a grin, pulling my keys out and pushing the right one into the door and opening it for us. "After you."
He walked in and flipped the lights on, his eyes scanning my place which looked really small compared to him. No matter how much I tried to keep it tidy, it always looked like a messy hole. "So where's your room?" He asked and peeked down the hall, my body brushing past his as I dropped my purse on the couch and started for one of the only doors that the hallway lead to.
"More wishful thinking?" I walked into my room, leaving it open but he knew better than to follow. I shrugged my jacket off and got undressed slowly, my panties the only thing on my body as I looked around for my pajamas.
"Does your place have two rooms or one?"
"I'm not looking for a roommate," I yelled back and I heard him laugh.
"It was just a question."
"One," I replied and grabbed my onesie, sliding my legs and arms into it as I listened to the silence. What was he doing? I hoped I hadn't left something compromising around. "You're not snooping around out there, are you?"
"I could come in there if you want to keep an eye on me."
"Come in then." I smirked to myself, zipping my onesie up just in time when he walked into my room.
His eyes dropped on the bare skin of my chest disappearing under the pink fabric before looking up at me, "Nice." He smirked.
I cocked my head to the side, pulling my hair up in a messy bun as I stared at him, "Nice what?"
He broke the eye contact and scanned the room, taking in my bed, the photos of me on the walls, the pile of clothes on my chair and then moved his gaze back to me. "I like everything I see." He said, being vague and with a grin that said more than his words.
"Did you change your mind and you want to stay here instead?" I asked as I walked over him, crossing my arms against my chest and smirking up at him.
He shook his head, "No cutie, even though I'm tempted..."
I let out a chuckle and set my hands on his stomach, which was as hard as steel, pushing him gently out of my room, "We better go before you're too tempted."
He gave me an amused look, letting me lead him toward the door, "Would it be bad?"
"We'll never know." I smirked as I forced myself to take my hands off him. He sighed and shook his head, making me wish I could read his thoughts for once. "I need a piggyback ride."
He broke into a laugh and widened his eyes a little, "A what?"
I shrugged, glancing at my socks, "I'm not going to walk to your apartment with no shoes on, only god knows how dirty the halls are." I explained with a grin plastered on my face. I liked that I could feel comfortable around him, even when I looked ridiculous like right now, it was one of the perks of hanging out with a boy without wanting to seduce him.
"And why are you not wearing any shoes?" Mason asked slowly, like it made no sense to him. What was the point of wearing my sneakers if I was going to wear them for 2 minutes? I was too lazy for that. He broke into a grin as he stared at me questioningly, my arms folded over my chest and a pout on my face.
"Don't give me that look," I replied, amazed that his grin just like his amusement kept getting bigger.
He swooped his arms down and picked me up, cradling me like a baby. Why wearing shoes if you had a guy who could carry you? "Better?" He asked and picked up my keys from where I left them, shoving them into his pocket while adjusting my body a little.
"Much," I grinned and wrapped an arm around his neck, keeping myself from falling. Without another word, he locked the door behind us and closed it, taking the stairs since I was only one floor above his. That or maybe he was just trying to impress me and it wasn't working anyway. "Don't drop me," I said quietly and he laughed, his laughter echoing through the besides us, silent stairwell.
"Almost there," He replied and kicked the door open with his leg, taking a right and heading for his apartment. "You're going to owe me for this..."
"Blah blah," I grinned up at him, his own expression matching mine.
"Can you grab the key out of my pocket?"
"Which pocket?" I asked, keeping a straight face and wishing he'd say the one of his jacket.
"Jeans, left one." He answered. Damn it.
I shifted against him, stretching my arm to slip my hand into the pocket and being careful to not get too close to his crotch, it was already embarrassing enough how it was. When my fingers found the metal I smiled and fished the keys out, dangling them in front of his nose, "Found them."
"Well?" He raised one eyebrow and gave me an amused look before glancing at the knob. I rolled my eyes as I unlocked the door, trying not to be too aware of how close we were or how his strong arms were holding me, then I pushed it open. "Good girl, I knew you could do it."
"I'm talented." I smirked at him as he closed the door with his foot and carried me to the living room before setting me gently on the couch.
"Oh really? I haven't seen anything yet." His expression matched mine, his face so close to mine that our noses almost touched.
"You'll see." I said quietly, doing my best to not glance down at his lips. He was really attractive, it was hard to act unaffected mostly when I had been so long without having any kind of contact with a male human being.
"Planning on giving me a private show?" He asked as his grin widened.
"You wish." I wrinkled my nose as I used his words against him, then changed the subject before I could start thinking with my lower parts, "Which movie are we going to watch?"
"Since you're hating all of my suggestions tonight? You choose," Mason grinned and walked over to his entertainment center, turning the big screen TV on and fingering through his selection of movies.
"Batman?" I suggested, letting my eyes linger on his yummy ass.
He groaned, "No. We watched that last time."
"That was Batman Begins... two completely different movies," I clarified and he looked over his shoulder at me, grinning like always. I didn't know if he grinned a lot in general or it was me the cause of that.
"Maybe next time," He grabbed a different DVD and loaded it up, straightening his body back out. "Want popcorn?"
"Candy," I smiled and lifted a brow, watching him make his way back over towards me. "What movie did you put on?"
"It's a surprise," He replied, picking up a basket of candy and putting it down in between us on the coffee table and grabbed the remote.
"A surprise?" I asked, hoping that it wasn't one of those awful movies like GI Joe or any with Bruce Willis.
He grinned and kept his eyes on the screen, just like I kept mine on him, "Don't all girls love surprises?"
The credits to Goonies began to roll and I could see him stare at me from the corner of his eye. I tried to ignore him and bent over to reach for a handful of candies, before popping the pink ones into my mouth. I savored the strawberry flavor as I stared at the screen, keeping a straight face even if it was hard considering how he was blatantly waiting for my reaction. "Aren't you a little too old to watch a movie for kids?" I asked and I finally smirked.
His head snapped in my direction and his eyes narrowed on me. "It's a classic." He said seriously.
"For kids." I repeated, more to tease him than anything else. I was like that when I was too tired, I got slightly annoying and hyperactive for a bunch of minutes then I turned quiet and exhausted all of a sudden.
"You should watch it before judging it." He retorted, only amusing me more.
"I already watched it." I said quietly with a smug smirk on my face, "Remember, I have a brother which is as old as you."
He sighed and looked defeated, "Fine, do you want to watch something else?"
I shook my head as I smiled genuinely, my eyes taking in his profile while I shifted closer to him, "No. I love this movie."
Mason turned his head back towards me, blinking as he digested my words and smirked very slowly. He looked surprised and, as always, amused. "Aren't you a little too old to watch a movie for kids?" He used my words on me and lifted a brow. I stuck her tongue out at him in response and he let out a loud laugh, shaking his head. "Do that again and I'll bite your tongue."
"You wouldn't," I retorted quickly, a coy look on my face. It was obvious that he was just teasing me, testing me maybe, but he couldn't be serious.
"Try me," He said back, my eyebrow quirking up.
"Too tempting," I adjusted back on the couch even closer to him, my body almost resting against his as I looked back at the television screen and tried to stop thinking about him playing with my tongue.
"Maybe," He reached down for my chin and without another word, tilted it up towards his face and leaned down to kiss me.
My lips parted slightly and he kept his lips to hers. They were as soft as I had imagined and I couldn't help wondering how they'd feel on every inch of my skin. I let my mouth adapt to his, my eyes open and staring into his dark ones as I felt the kiss all over my body, my hand reaching on his wrist and resting there. When he didn't make any further move I smirked and pulled away slowly, beyond surprised and, I had to admit, a little excited about the sudden kiss. "You didn't bite me." I said eventually.
"Want more?" He grinned back at me as our hands dropped down on my leg, his hand resting on my thigh and mine covering his knuckles.
That was the first time that we were so close, actually touching even if so slightly, I could feel the heat irradiating from his palm and from his body and I wasn't going to lie, it was really tempting, but I had to keep in mind who Mason Kohler was. I had mostly changed my opinion about him and I thought that he could be a nice guy, still I didn't want to venture into a dangerous territory where he could turn into the guy who fucked a girl and forget about her the day after, despite how much I needed to get laid I knew that it wouldn't be a good idea. We wanted different things and I didn't judge him for that, I just didn't want to take any risk mostly when I was getting used to our routine. "You wish." I said in a playful tone and winked at him, not putting a distance between us though. "It's my birthday next week." I announced, changing the subject.
"Are you expecting me to get you a present?" He asked with an eyebrow raised as he squeezed my knee.
"No." I rolled my eyes but smirked, turning my body to his as I looked at him, "I think I'll have a party, you're officially invited if you're not too busy Mr Kohler."
"I'm never too busy for you Miss Kargard," Our hands trailed up my thigh and I raised a brow and leaned back into him, not able to resist.
"What will you get me?" I asked and looked up at him, wondering if his hand would feel so good on other parts of my body...probably better.
He grinned slowly, "You just said you weren't expecting me to get you a present."
I shrugged and pulled back, still leaving my body close to his as I bit into my bottom lip. "A gift would still be nice... but you're not entitled to it," I said nonchalantly.
"What do you want?" He asked, his eyes dropping down to my leg as he massaged it softly.
"Maybe your presence would be enough." I grinned, resting my head on the cushion of the couch and keeping my eyes glued on his handsome face.
"Am I that important?" He retorted as his hand inched up my leg, his grin only getting wider. It wasn't creepy, not at all, it was just incredibly tempting and now that I knew how soft the lips were it was really hard for me to stop myself from tearing my clothes off and throwing myself at him. But I was wearing a onesie and he was who he was, I'd better calm my hormones.
I decide to ignore his answer with a roll of my eyes, almost asking him a full body massage instead of a stupid present. Almost. "I don't really care about presents, I was just teasing you." I said eventually and smiled, nudging his side and deciding to act cute, which would probably save me from embarrassing myself.
"Every girl says that but usually doesn't mean it." He raised one eyebrow at me as his hand ran back down my thigh and stopped on my knee.
"Which part? The teasing one?" I asked with a grin on my face, finally tearing my eyes away from him to look back at the tv as I set my head on his shoulder and allowed myself to relax against his hard body.
Mason stared at me still, giving his head a little shake, making me wonder what he was thinking. "Are you having the movie here?"
I nodded my head slowly, "Brooke's throwing me a surprise party."
He grinned, "It's not a surprise if you know about it."
"It will be if you jump out of a cake for me," I grinned wide, flicking my eyes back to his for maybe a few seconds as my cheeks flushed a little and I adjusted myself to sit up a little straighter. I was still so close though, close enough to smell his manly cologne and imagine his naked body covered with whipped cream.
He pressed his lips softly against my neck but didn't kiss it, just let them rest there while he breathed against my skin, making me die a little. "Would you dance for me?" He whispered, noticing me shiver I was sure. My body's reaction to him was obvious, I couldn't stop it.
"Right now or at my birthday?" I asked in a quiet tone and I tilted my head a little, almost automatically, to give him more access to my neck. He was teasing me and I was just a girl whose hormones were ready to party hard.
"Now." He said back and I felt his lips turning upwards in a grin before he finally pressed a kiss on my skin. I could only imagine how good he could be with his mouth.
I barely shook my head, my thoughts running wild as I slipped my arm under his to run my fingers up and down it casually. "I can't for so many reasons..." I trailed off and forced a sigh as I bit down on my lip.
"I can't find any instead." He challenged me, his mouth moving up my neck and killing me for the way he was speaking now to my ear. He knew how to act with girls, that was a given, it was at the same time good and bad in my opinion.
I forced myself to pull back a little to tilt my head and meet his eyes again, "I'm wearing an onesie." I said with an eyebrow raised, because that was enough to make any kind of dance look ridiculous.
"You can take it off." He shrugged as he gave me a wide smirk.
I smirked back at him, "Oh, that's the dance you want? Well in this case I can't do it because you don't have a pole in here, which is kind of disappointing if you ask me." I faked a straight face, but it was hard considering how close his sexy face was to mine.
"Not that kind," Mason shook his head, grabbing my waist and pulling me onto his lap. I wasn't sure if this was a good idea but I wasn't going to protest. My body adjusted on top of his, straddling him and I could feel how hard he was getting. One hand remained on my hip while the other moved along the curve of my body. "I meant a lapdance... kind of like this..."
My breath hitched without I could control it, my chest heaving up and down. I wrapped my arms loosely around his neck and moved my hips a little, grinding against his ever growing erection, it was too tempting to stay still, "Kind of like this?"
He groaned and set his head back against the couch, keeping his eyes on mine and making me wish we could end this with me screaming his name while he was coming hard inside of me. "What do you want for your birthday?" He tried again as my teeth sunk into my bottom lip.
"Surprise me," I replied and grinned, keeping my eyes on him as his hand slid just under my breast, yanking the zipper slowly down my stomach. Oh god. He leaned his head down and pressed a kiss against my collarbone, trailing more kisses between my breasts and lower until I let out a soft moan that stopped him. "Mason..." I trailed off, feeling confused because I had mixed feelings about this, part of me wanted him to keep going but the more rational part was fully aware that it wouldn't be wise. And I wasn't that wise, only I didn't want to be one of Mason's night stands...maybe it was better if we kept things innocent, if only I was able to.
"Do you want me to leave?" He dropped his hands back down to my thighs and left them there.
I grinned slowly, "We're at your place."
He let out a soft laugh, "Right. Sorry."
"It's okay, you couldn't go away even if I wanted you to." My smirk turned into a smile as I ran my hands down his chest carefully, paying attention to not move too much or my breasts would peek out of my now open onesie.
"Do you want that?" He asked as an expression I couldn't read crossed his face, it was almost as if he was confused, but there was something else too.
"No." I answered immediately and shook my head, feeling a little awkward about this whole situation and desperate to find something funny or silly to say to make the moment better. I ran my hands up his neck and let my fingers play with his hair as I studied his face, "I like being here." I said eventually.
"Why?" He asked with a brow raised, probably wondering where this was going.
"You mean apart from the excellent movie, candy and your company?" I answered and smiled wider, talking honestly. I was getting used to spend time with him and I didn't want to play games, if I liked hanging out with him I was just admitting it.
"Could it get any better?" His smirk went back to his face as the moment felt light again, despite the amount of my skin still exposed.
I faked a thoughtful expression and tipped my lips with my index finger as I looked away from him for a best effect, "Let me think..." I trailed off.
"Take your time cutie." He said quietly.
"I think it could." I announced eventually with a silly grin on my lips and my eyes went back to his as I straightened my posture, shifting on his lap in the process. Accidentally. But gear god he was still hard.
"Mind to share?" He asked with an amused expression on his face, his arms looping around my waist as he leaned into me a little.
"Yes." I grinned wider before sticking my tongue out at him, without thinking.
"Oh," Mason grinned back at me. "You want to make out some more."
I raised both of my brows and smirked, shrugging my shoulders as he snaked his hands behind her back and dropped them onto my ass. "I didn't say that," I said quietly, trying to sound sexy and not totally embarrassed. My body shifted against him again and this time, he groaned.
"You're not watching the movie," He managed to say, flicking his eyes down my flat stomach.
"I can't when I'm sitting this way..." I trailed off but didn't move, the grasp he had on my body tight.
He pressed me back against him, the friction killing me a little as he pressed his lips against my neck and I sucked in a breath. He was a tease and liked playing, no doubts about that. By the time he pulled back, he had my zipper back up and a grin on his face, "I think I'm going to call it a night. I have a meeting in the morning."
I blinked and gave him a blank expression, because that sounded like a lame excuse to kick me out, "Are you trying to get rid of me?"
"No," He shook his head. "You can come to bed with me if you're tired... but that onesie would have to go."
My face flushed and he grinned wider, "I'd get cold."
"I'd keep you warm," He retorted, looking genuinely amused.
I pursed my lips together, knowing that despite how good that sounded there was no way I could get in a bed with him and sleep, mostly if I was going to be naked. He didn't want that either, I was sure that it was just a game after all and I had embarrassed myself enough for one night. "No thanks, you said it yourself, you have a meeting in the morning and you need to rest." I said eventually and set my hands on his shoulders to lift myself up and get up.
"I can do that with you too." He grinned as he watched me closely, keeping teasing me.
"Nah." I retorted with a shrug, fixing my hair and wishing I had a pair of shoes right now, "I usually toss and turn all night, you'd end up kicking me out of your bed."
"You can't know until you try." He winked at me, making me wonder if at this point I just had to go or he'd get up from the damn couch at least.
I shrugged, "I don't live that far anyway." I smirked and take the decision for him, bending over him and pressing a kiss on his cheek, even though I was dying to kiss his soft lips again...only, I knew better. He was basically kicking me out, I needed to keep my hormones in check and start thinking about him like a penis-less nice guy who was my neighbor, maybe even a friend, but no more sexy thoughts about him. "Good night Mase."
