I closed the door of my office behind me and walked down the stairs as I headed to the bar of my own club. It had been a short day and a long night, but despite being tired I had nothing to complain about. As soon as I walked into the large room I noticed Kori, sitting on a stool and waiting for me. She was gorgeous beyond words. "I was afraid you'd go away." I smirked at her as I offered her my hand.
She grabbed it and jumped down the stool, letting out a sigh, "I was tempted to since it took you forever."

I looked down at her as we walked across the empty club then finally out of it, "What happened then? Did you decide I couldn't come back home alone?" I smirked at her as I locked the last door too, my hand slipping the keys into the pocket of my jeans.
"No." She answered with a fake serious face as we started walking, not even a sound around us, the whole city was sleeping and it was nice to enjoy the silence and the dark while we walked towards our apartment. "What if you got lost?"
I laughed at that, feeling blessed to have this girl with me to finish the day with. More like the night. We barely lived during the day, our sleeping schedules were a disaster, but none of us complained and that kind of life just worked for us. To be honest, my whole life was at a point where everything was great. The club, my girlfriend, our apartment which was finally free of boxes and exactly like we wanted it...I was a very lucky man. "I would call you in tears and wait for you to rescue me." I joked, squeezing her hand as I grinned at her.
"I'm starting to think you're only with me for my brains and muscles," Kori joked with another sigh, attempting a serious face and failing. She was that cute.
"If that is the codename for your boobs and butt, then yes," I said with a face that matched hers, grinning once more when she broke into a laugh, nudging me in the side with her elbow. "I'm joking," I added, pulling her close to me as I shrugged an arm around her shoulders. "Are you cold?"
"No," She shook her head as a smile played on her lips, "It's gorgeous out."
We walked in silence, the sun was barely rising but the weather was surprisingly the perfect temperature; not cold but not yet too warm. It was brisk still, perfect for a morning walk... even though it still wasn't yet the time of morning when a couple should be out roaming the streets. "Maybe we can take the day off and go to the beach," I suggested.
She raised an eyebrow, "We wouldn't get any sleep."
"I'm planning on passing out the second we get home."
She grinned and shook her head again, "No way. We're going to cuddle on the couch and watch a movie instead."
I grinned back at her before breaking eye contact and looking in front of me, "Okay baby." I said simply, my grin still in place.
"That was too easy." She said and poked my side to get my attention again even if she had never really lost it. She had it always, even when she wasn't with me. "You'e tricking me."
"Me? Never." I glanced down at her as I did my best not to start laughing with no reason really except for I was happy to be with her, finally alone and with some time for ourselves.
She kept quiet a few seconds before speaking again, "Okay then, I'll even let you pick the movie." She said with a silly grin on her face.
"Nah, pick it yourself." I retorted quickly, looking down at her as we walked, our voices the only sounds surrpounding us. It was unreal, it was amazing too. "I'm not going to watch it."
"But you said you would instead." She said back as a pout appeared on her face.
I futtowed my brows, faking a serious face, "I thought you meant you'd cuddle me to sleep while you'd watch a movie." I explained before breaking into another smirk.
"My boyfriend is hilarious," Kori smiled at me and rolled her eyes.
"I thought you'd enjoy that," Isaid while still smirking, slipping my hand down around her waist while we walked up to our building.
"I'd enjoy spending time with you awake even more," She said seriously, but studying my face and knowing that I had an exhausting day at work. "But if you're too tired..." She trailed off with a small pout, unable to help it.
A laugh left my lips before I kissed the top of her head, "Finish what you were saying."
"I have two pillows for you to rest your head on if you really are too sleepy to watch a movie," She said with a coy smirk, referring to her breasts.
I grinned wider, knowing for experience how amazing that was. "I like this offer, I think I'm going to take it."
She bit down on her lip as her cheeks got pink, "Really? I'm surprised."
"No you aren't." I kept my eyes on her as I fished the key of our building out of my jeans, "I hope I'll be able to fall asleep."
"Why, aren't my pillows comfortable?" She asked and faked a pout, brushing past me as she walked into the byuilding.

"My poor Noah," Kori smirked and wrapped her arms around me as I dropped my jacket on the table by the door then tossed my keys and wallet on top.
"Poor me indeed," I reached for her body and picked her up effortlessly, carrying her into the living room and setting her down on the couch before sitting down myself. "Have you decided where we'll go next month?"
She pushed herself onto her knees, tucking them under her body as she leaned into mine. Since I worked so much, she had offered to plan our trip for August. Last year we spent a few weeks with my parents in Ireland and my guess was that this year she'd want to go to her parents in Australia, no matter what my other suggestions were. "I have a few places in mind," She said slowly then nuzzled my neck. "Amsterdam, Greece, Spain, or Australia."
I leaned my head against the back of the couch, turning it so that I could look down at her. "What about all of them?" I asked with amusement in my voice. After a full night of work and crazy people all I wanted was relax, hence no serious conversations. Or no conversation taken too seriously.
She sighed as a dreamy expression crossed her face, "I wish. But it'd take too long and we can't do that." She said and pouted eventually.
I covered my mouth with my hand as I yawned, weighing the options even though I knew what I'd pick in the end already. "Let's see." I paused, faking a thoughtful face, "I say Spain is too hot. Amsterdam would be really fun, but there are no beaches and I want to see you living in a bikini instead." I said with a grin, "And that's why Greece could work too."
She pulled her head back just so slightly to stare at me as she bit down on her lip, "My boyfriend's just so naughty..."
"Let's not get sidetracked here." I smirked at her and planted a quick kiss on her mouth before resting my head against the cushion again, "I say let's go to Australia instead."
"You do realize it's winter there still, right?" Kori said slowly but smiled, cuddling up to me while I wrapped an arm loosely around her shoulders.
I knitted my eyebrows together, "Define cold."
"Mid 60s to high 70s..." She trailed off and I grinned back at me.
"That sounds perfect instead," I reached for her hips and pulled her onto my lap, keeping my head resting back against the couch and feeling like I might fall asleep at any moment. "Should I go ahead and book our flights?"
"I'll take care of it," She replied. "You work too much, let me spoil you for once."
"I don't work too much." I grinned at her as I let my hands ran up and down her legs mindlessly. I worked like any average hard working man, the thing was that I mostly worked at night and spent part of the day sleeping so the time left for anything that wasn't work related wasn't much. Thank god my girlfriend had my same sleeping schedule, we were night owls.
She made a silly face, it supposed to be a serious one but only making me grin wider instead. "Does this mean you don't want me to spoil you?" She asked, hands on her hips for full effect too.
"Always instead." I said and paused to lift my hand and push her hair off her forehead, "But I can't see how booking our flights count as spoiling me."
Her mouth dropped open in fake offence, her dark eyes widening, "What? Take it back silly boyfriend."
I laughed, pulling her against my chest and kissing her swiftly. "I do." I said seriously before relaxing on the couch again, "What will we do in Australia baby?"
"Anything you want," Kori replied with a grin, relaxing her body against min.
I cracked a grin, "So specific."
She pursed her lips together and looked lost in her thought. "We'll spend a lot of time on the beach... I can teach you how to surf," She said finally. "I used to be a pretty awesome surfer," She added matter-of-factly.
"I learn something new about you every day," I kept my grin in place as my arms tightened around her. "What else?"
"You'll meet my parents and they'll love you," She answered with her smile widening.
I studied her face and her gorgeous smile, tucking her hair behind her ear as I brushed her pink cheek in the process. "I hope so." Was all I could say and I meant it, Kori and I were in no hurry to get married, we had never even talked about it, but I was sure that for the rest of my life I'd be with her, for me it was a fact that I'd never question. So it was kind of important to me that her parents liked me. "What if they don't instead?" I asked even if I was still smirking, not wanting to make of this conversation a too serious one.
"Nonsense." She grinned back at me as she ran her hands down my neck, keeping her eyes on mine. "No one could not like you."
I laughed at her words because that was, of course impossible, "Sure. But what if they don't like me not because of me but because I'm keeping their daughter away from them?"
She shrugged nonchalantly, "I'm a grown up woman and in theory you weren't the one to keep me staying in Italy at first."
"Yeah, that was the only good thing that your ex did." I pointed out with no enthusiasm but didn't get sidetracked, focusing again on the subject at hand. I wondered how much she missed her family, her old home, because when I thought about mine I knew I missed everything a lot. "Would you ever move back? I mean to Australia."
Kori parted her lips and looked a little taken back. I had no intention to turn a normal conversation into a too serious one, I was just curious, and Kori and I could talk about anything, literally. "I haven't thought about it before," She said honestly and I felt surprised by her confession. She was a girl with a big heart and it seemed just so out of character. "I'm not going to lie, I miss Australia, but I'd miss you even more," She added, having her answer to my question.
My lips quirked into a more genuine smile, "Is that a no? I'm confused."
She grinned and shook her head, "Unless you're coming with me? I'm going no where."
"No where?" I replied and slid my hands underneath the bottom of her shirt to run across her skin. "Not even our bed?"
She laughed softly and leaned into my touch, keeping her eyes locked on my gaze, "I'll go wherever my love goes."
"So if I'm moving to Australia, you're moving with me?" I asked with a smirk on my face, only joking because really, I couldn't see that happen.
She frowned instead, "What's with all these questions? Are you planning to move somewhere without telling me?"
I laughed, because that sounded crazy. I shared everything with Kori, all my thoughts, dreams, plans...everything. "Yes, I want to move back to Ireland."
Her frown turned into a pout, "It's not funny."
I smiled this time, engulfing her into a hug and kissing her cheek, "Sorry baby, I was being silly. A little too silly." I paused and waited for her body to relax in my hold, "I have no intention to move...we have our life here. We're happy like this, so no matter how much I miss my family or my city, I'd never give up on what we both built in these years. Unless of course you'd want me to, in that case I'm ready to pack right away."
Kori's lips quirked up into a smile as she stared into my eyes. "It goes both ways baby," She said seriously.
"Even Ireland?" I stared back with an eyebrow raised.
She shrugged her shoulders, "Ireland, England, Norway, America... I will go anywhere with my man. I love a good adventure."
A laugh left my lips as I relaxed from beneath her and moved my hands dangerously close to her ass before grabbing her hips, "I'll remember that, crazy girl."
"An adventure is what brought me to Italy," She pointed out while I remembered the story I had heard so many times. Her original plan was to take a few years off from school, traveling Spain and seeing where she ended up. She fell in love with Italy though, coming here on a whim and never wanting to leave. A few months later, she had most of her things packed up and shipped over. "If I wasn't so crazy, I never would have met you."
"You'd still be jumping with kangaroos." I pointed out with a grin, amused by my own words.
She let out a small laugh, then pressed her lips on mine, "And where would you be?" She asked against my mouth as she stared at me with her dark eyes.
I pretended to think about it, when truth was I had no idea. You couldn't know things like these, and I had never been the kind of guy who asked himself "what if...?", mostly because the life I lived was exactly the one I wanted. "I'll be single and desperate, wondering why I can't find a beautiful brunette to stay with...I'd feel so lonely I'd decide to go to Australia to start a new life and guess what, I'd meet you there." I grinned at her.
She laughed again, this time louder, "Why are you so sure you'd meet me?"
"Because it was destiny." I shrugged nonchalantly, mostly being silly, but also believing that she was my perfect match, my twin soul.
Her lips curved upwards in a wide smile, "We're both right where we belong," She said after a moment of staring at me.
"I agree," I replied and leaned my head back against the couch, keeping my eyes locked on hers. "When will we leave?"
"As soon as possible.... I hate sharing you with the club and Coult," She grinned.
"Lies. My naughty girlfriend loves being in the club alone with me," I said with a mischievous grin.
"Naked," She added.
"See?" I asked nibbling at her ear, "Naughty."
"Because you're so much better instead?" She asked as she pulled her head back, raising one eyebrow at me and shooting me a grin.
I shrugged nonchalantly, because yes, I was as bad as she was and it was the kind of bad that was really good instead. "I didn't say that."
She licked her lips slowly as she kept her eyes on mine, "We match. Or you wouldn't be with me."
I nodded my head, agreeing without thinking twice. She was perfect for me, there were no doubts about that. "Are you going to include that to the list of reasons why you're with me you'll say to your parents?" I asked as I felt my smirk widen, joking but also feeling a little nervous too.
"No," Kori shook her head and smiled reassuringly, "They're going to love you as soon as they see how amazing you are. They won't need me to list any reasons."
"You're so sure," I said with my smirk still in place.
"I am," She replied. "Now carry me to our bedroom and lets put on pajamas," She added in a much more quiet tone, lifting an eyebrow as she gave me a knowing smirk.
"I thought you wanted to watch a movie silly girl," I said back, not budging from my place on the couch.
"I want to take advantage of the fact that my boyfriend is still awake instead."
I picked her as I got on my feet, carrying her to our bedroom just like she wanted and keeping my eyes on her still since I knew the way by memory. "Okay, but I wanr you, the moment I'm touching the bed I'm falling asleep."
She faked a pout, "Does it mean you can resist my sexiness?"
I chuckled at her silly words and set her on the edge of the bed before straightening myself in a standing position again and taking my shirt off next. "Never. It only means I'm exhausted."
She yawned as she stared at me, "I could use some sleep too now that I think about it."
"Get naked." I grinned at her, taking the rest of my clothes off too.
"Are you trying to seduce me now?" She asked with a grin on her lips.
