“I’m serious! We have to go!!!” Lila called from the patio and I turned to her.
“What’s wrong with what we’re wearing now?” I asked, pushing my hair back as I tossed Parker the football with ease.
“Um, you’re covered in dirt. No club will let you in wearing that.”
“No club will let me in anyways, I’m so obviously a soccer mom.” Liz’s voice came as she walked into the backyard with Adam.
“Not from where I’m standing.” Kolton shot her a wicked grin and Adam narrowed his eyes on her brother.
“I don’t know who you are but I don’t like the way you’re looking at my wife.” He said seriously. What was wrong with my brothers, they snapped for nothing.
“I’m sure you don’t like the way most guys look at her.” Kolton responded with a shrug as Liz turned bright red and Adam practically growled.
“Rob! My brothers are going to take us to the laser tag place!!!” Will said, running up to his friend.
“I don’t know what I’m wearing either.” Colbie admitted, watching the boys run off.
“Please. I have enough dresses to clothe an army. Now come on, I haven’t seen my boyfriend in like 4 days and he doesn’t like waiting for me.”
“Have fun.” Adam kissed his wife sweetly before I pulled my girl into my arms.
I didn’t kiss her because I was trying to be good around her family, mostly around Will, but god I wanted to kiss her so bad. Instead I leaned in to her ear. “Wear something I’ll be thinking about taking off all night.”
She shivered in my arms and blushed furiously “Deal.”
