hope if everybody runs, you choose to stay

Aria walked up behind me and wrapped her arms around my body before kissing my cheek, my eyes narrowed on his dad as I tried to understand what game he was playing if any. "I love you," She whispered in my ear, an almost sickeningly sweet tone. My gaze didn't shift and her own eyes started narrowing, but on me instead. "Seb," He said loud enough for me not to miss.
I broke out of my daze and looked at her, an innocent expression on my face, "What did you say?"
She sighed but smiled at me. So far, she had nothing to complain about, the day was going pretty good and that was all because of my family, but in particular to the women of my family. The backyard was hardly recognizable and there was enough food for a small town. I couldn't complain either, Aria's family had taken a quick liking to the mine too. "What's on your mind baby?" She asked, like she did a lot lately and I knew what that was about. I was constantly nervous about my future, I went from avoiding the subject completely to get annoyed to the point I didn't even want to talk. Ar had nothing to do with that, because she was my only certainty in my life at the moment, but my mood influenced our relationship too no matter how much I tried to ignore it. I felt lost, but I didn't want to admit it.

God only knows where love vacations.

I walked up behind Seb and wrapped my arms around his body before kissing his cheek, his eyes narrowed on something and when I followed them I wanted to groan because he was looking straight at my father. "I love you," I whispered in his ear, an almost sickeningly sweet tone. His gaze didn't shift and my own eyes started narrowing, but on my husband instead. "Seb," I said loud enough for him not to miss.
He broke out of his daze and looked at me, an innocent expression on his handsome face, "What did you say?"

the only way you can know, you gave it all you had

I stomped on the umpteenth cigarette I had smoked during the last hour as I sat on the steps of Lila's house. God only knew where I had found the patience to wait for her or how many times I had tried to call her but I hadn't had any luck and enough was enough. Just when I stood up, ready to walk back home, she appeared, smiling and looking gorgeous as always in a short dress. "Where the f.uck were you?" I asked, annoyed that I hadn't been able to reach my girlfriend.
Her smile faded as she blinked at me, "What are you doing here?" She asked back instead, sounding genuinely surprised.
"I've been waiting for you for one hour because you know, I wanted to see my girlfriend who I haven't seen in a week. But not only she wasn't home like she had told me to be, her god damn phone was off or I don't know." I answered back, my words coming out in a tone that was harsher than I wanted it to be and that was probably because I was more mad than I thought.
She looked taken aback by my attitude and stared at me with her big eyes. "You didn't tell me you'd come over-"
"Where were you?" I asked again and cut her off, taking a step towards her.

I walked back to my house, I had gone to the gym and then to a movie with Jax on his day off and was in a relatively good mood when I saw Travis standing outside my house. Now I was in an even better mood. I smiled but he turned towards me with a pissed off expression.
"Where the fuck were you?" he asked. Okay not a good mood. I felt my smile fade as I looked back at him.

My mom laughed at Nolan's joke and my dad's mouth even quirked up into a smile, he was still trying not to like Nolan but I could see that he was slowly giving up. Even a stubborn man like my father was falling for Nolan's charme and I couldn't blame him, my fake fiancè had a way with words that was impressive. I on the other hand? I felt uncomfortable after hearing the word 'clitoris' coming out of my moms mouth and like I wanted to leave hours ago. "Alright," Nolan slid the Cards of Humanity deck over to me and wrapped his arm around my waist. "Your turn."
I faked a yawn and stretched, "I think we're done for the night."
My mom pouted, a little more than buzzed from the few glasses of wine she'd consumed, "But I'm doing so good! I'm winning."
"It's Sunday and I have to work tomorrow," I replied, standing up and grabbing his hand. "A really early start."

Eva's mom laughed at my joke and her dad's mouth even quirked up into a smile, that stubborn man still trying to pretend he disliked me when I could tell he was slowly starting to fall for my charm. where you are i am

I wiped my forehead as I looked at the progress I had made on my wall. It looked good, but I felt like something was missing . Which was when I heard the door. What the? I walked to it and opened it to find Travis smiling as he looked at me with a pizza box in his hands.

Dominic stopped in front of my apartment and grinned a sweet smile that showed off the dimples in his cheeks. He was adorable and totally hot. Not really my type but gorgeous nonetheless.

I go crazy 'cause here isn't where I wanna be. And satisfaction feels like a distant memory.

I walked into my flat and dropped the keys on the table by the door, fumbling for the light switch while wondering why I drank so much. I felt sick, like my hangover was coming on strong and I felt alone, almost regretting not bringing the blonde who had been trying all night back home with me. She looked too much like Chloe though. No, that wasn't right. The hair color was right, but everything beyond that? She paled in comparison. Locking the door behind me, I wandered over to the couch and peeled my shirt off before flopping down on it, reaching for the controlled and turning the TV on. Nothing interesting, but too much on my mind anyways. Slipping my phone out of my pocket, I pulled up the text Chloe had sent days ago that I never replied to. I stared at the phone, contemplating calling her before these random words nearly wrote themselves: "I have an up and coming designer interested in you for a campaign. Interested?"
