I carried Sienna upstairs to put her down in bed, a grin widening my lips when she muttered something under her breath as she adjusted her head on the pillow but, thank god, she didn't woke up. I love my little monkey just like I loved all my perfect daughters, but sometimes I loved them more when they were sleeping.
I walked back downstairs and out of the hourse, heading toward the car where Ryan was holding Sara in her arms, her being the one that never wanted to sleep. "Aren't you tired baby?" She asked her, closing the car door behind her.
"Exhausted," I said back and Ry jumped, my arms wrapping around her just in case she might lose hold of the baby. "Sorry," I added in a soft voice and she let me take Sara from our arms. She was definitely the sassiest of the twins, maybe even Sienna too. The girls were all so different, it was easy to tell already, even though the twins were only 2.
"No sleep," She added with a pout, her eyes taking in her surroundings. We'd been coming to the Hamptons house every summer, whenever we had a three day weekend, any reason we could find to get away from the busy city. "Play instead," She smiled again and Ry grinned at her.

 I killed the engine as I stopped my car in front of our Hampton's house, smiling as I turned to Ryan. "I don't know if I'm ready to go back inside." I confessed.
She grinned at me and reached for my hand, squeezing it while she unbuckled her safety belt with the other, "Didn't you miss our cuties?"
I nodded, since I always missed our girls. But I also missed spending time alone with my wife and this date, even if had been short, had reminded me how bad I needed it. "They're sleeping now anyway." I grinned back at her as I leaned into her, staring into her dark eyes and tempting her.
