I walked out the airport, my luggage in one hand and my phone in the other as I talked to my mom to tell her everything was fine and I was finally back. "I gotta go mom, I'll call you later." I said as my eye caught Lila, a ridiculously big grin spreading on my lips. I watched her walking wast toward me and just as I freed my hands her body crashed into mine, her arms wrapping around my neck tightly and her lips gluing against mine. "Hey." I said softly against her mouth, snaking my arms around her tiny waist as I held her as close as possible. Weeks had passed since my birthday, they had flown yet had felt like years.
"I missed you." She whispered, her hearts beating so fast against my chest. It was crazy.
I bowed my head down, burying my face against her neck and breathed her in, wanting to keep her in my hold for a long time to make up for the time lost. "I'm here."
She pulled back to look up at me with the cutest expression on her face, "I see that." I smirked.
"I missed you too." I admitted, and it was true. I wasn't afraid to say that, how we'd handle our relationship now that I was back was all another story though. "Let's get home." I added as I reached for my luggage again.
She pointed at the green car parked a few steps from us, "Where do you want me to take you Mr Cole?"
