flashback;
"Did you know you can't drink in America until you're 21?" Chloe asked me as she downed her third shot.
"How did you ever survive it?" I smirked rolling my eyes.
She downed another. "I know right? 3 more!!"
"You're unstoppable." I shook my head as I sipped my beer and Cami pouted at both of us.
"This is so unfair." My baby looked at our drinks and Chlo reached over and wrapped her arms around our best friend who was pregnant but not at all showing yet.
"You can't drink anyways cutie bear you're 17."
Cami rolled her eyes. "You got me a fake ID 3 years ago Chloe."
"And now I don't even need mine! Wooo! Happy birthday to me!"
"I give her 2 more drinks before she starts dancing on tables." I teased.
"I could start now." She grinned at me as I winked at the bartender. Oh boy.

My dad shot me a flat look as we walked down the street, shaking his head. "What?" I asked, knowing he was thinking about something.
"I still can't understand why you like tennis so much." He pointed out, "Isn't it a little boring? What about football instead?"
"What about thank you Ben for taking me to the game and spending a little fortune for the tickets?" I asked back, forcing myself to grin even if it was hard. I was going through a lot, most of it being really good but the rest being really bad. The original plan was to go to Rolan Garros with Tristan and I had refused not to go at all, so I had taken my father instead since we hadn't spent much time together lately.
He laughed, flashing me his one million teeth smile, "You know I appreciated it anyway."
"I do." I smirked at him as we headed to the place where we often had lunch together, "How are you doing dad? It's been a while from the last time I saw you alone." I added, genuinely interested.
"I'll tell you if you tell me." My dad said, smirking at me.

But in the end I hope you only turn out better than me

"What?" Ben asked as I shot him a look while we walked down the street.
"I still can't understand why you like tennis so much." I pointed out, "Isn't it a little boring? What about football instead?"
"What about thank you Ben for taking me to the game and spending a little fortune for the tickets?" he snapped back, more annoyed than sarcastic like he usually was. I hoped we could get to the botoom of it today. I laughed and shot my son a smile.
"You know I appreciated it anyway."

I kept my face straight in front of the cameras flashing in front of me and Aria, under our feet the red carpet and behind us a giant poster of my last movie, which maybe could really be the last one considering how bad it had turned out. In my opinion of course, which was the only one that mattered to me.
"Seb." Aria's voice broke into my hate induced daze and when I turned my head in her direction I saw her smile. She was gorgeous, even more gorgeous than usual if possible, and I guessed it was because since we got married she had that glowing smile on her face always. My personal life was going great, beyond expectations, but it was true what they said, you couldn't get a perfect life so now I had a perfect wife and a very not perfect movie coming out. "You're going to look extremely p.issed off in the pictures and they'll think it's my fault." She said softly, trying to make the moment lighter, something I genuinely appreciated.
I felt my left hand roll into a fist as it rested into the pocket of my pants, the thought alone of ending up in magazines making me want to groan. Instead I forced the smallest smile, all I could do, "I don't care about what they think."

You were my hometown when my heart was filled with loneliness.

You were my hometown when my heart was filled with loneliness.

I glanced sideways at Seb who kept his face straight in front of the cameras flashing in front of us, under our feet the red carpet and behind us a giant poster of his last movie. He wasn't too happy with the outcome and voiced his opinion about it every day. I was supportive still, and even a little thankful that he wasn't leaving his thoughts to himself. "Seb," My voice broke into his thoughts and when he turned his head in my direction I smiled. "You're going to look extremely pissed off in the pictures and they'll think it's my fault," I said softly, trying to make the moment lighter.

He forced the smallest smile, all he could apparently do, "I don't care about what they think."

we see eye to eye, heart to heart.

we see eye to eye, heart to heart.

I closed the door of Cami's apartment behind me, watching Gabe disappear at the speed of sound. "Mamaaan!" He screamed as he ran, making me sigh for how loud he could be sometimes when he was too excited. You could think a whole day out playing would exhaust him, instead no, he was still full of energy.
Following him towards his room, I smiled when I saw him wrapping his arms tight around Cami who was sitting on the floor surrounded by boxes. I had moved into her loft the weekend before and it was crazy how much there still was to do, it was even crazier that Gabe had more things than I did. "Hi Gabey." She hugged him back and gave him a kiss on the cheek as she smiled, "How was your day at the camp?"
"I won the first place! He said proudly, showing the medal he had pinned on his t-shirt, "I swam faster than anyone."

I guess that no one ever really made me feel that much higher.

I guess that no one ever really made me feel that much higher.

"Mamaaan!" Gabe's voice echoed through the apartment, his footsteps pounding on the floor as he raced his way to find me. You could think a whole day out playing would exhaust him, instead no, he was still full of energy. Always full of energy.

I grinned as when he found me, wrapping his arms tight around me when Ben appeared in the doorway, smiling at the two of us. I was still surrounded by boxes. Ben had moved into my loft the weekend before and it was crazy how much there still was to do, it was even crazier that Gabe had more things than he did.
